Went there for brunch and "Matt the Sax" music was awesome. Brunch buffet food was on point- $17 for all you can eat. We had lots of trouble finding the brunch menu online before hand but we weren't disappointed in the quality. Our server was friendly and charismatic, but not the most attentive. We ordered bloody Mary's and it took quite some time, we thought she had forgotten. We were about to cancel our order since there was a draft special happening at 1pm. Then of course they show up. They were good. Lots of pickled veggies and blue cheese stuffed olives $10 each. We wanted to stay for the .50 cent wings and $3 drafts for the football game, but 1 we were too full and 2 the waitress never came back with our beer order. My date got one draft, the Quest which we highly recommend. I was still finishing up my Bloody Mary when he got his draft and the timing never worked out for a second beer. We also sat with several dirty plates at our table the whole time, my date finally moved them to the table behind us.... lol, but I think the place will be around for a while and I'll definitely be back. Great beers, every beer I've had there I enjoyed. Food is decent at best. Dessert is definitely not worth getting, took 25 minutes for a blonde brownie that was still raw in the middle and the parts that were cooked is certainly nothing to write home about. Our waiter had an attitude and when we jokingly said we had a face of disappointment that they were out of a certain dessert he pointed to the door and said "the door is right there" implying that we leave. Not a way to speak to your customers with a pretty substantial tab in front of them. Besides the pompous waiter in far too tight of pants and sub par food this place is great. Sit at the bar and enjoy some great beer. Don't bother with the rest they have to offer. read more

The entire experience was a disappointment. Sarah, our server, was not only absent from service but disrespectful to my family and myself. We came up for a fun family excursion and were unpleasantly surprised with the complete disregard to standard politeness, let alone service. She was snide, antagonistic and accusatory with reasonable questions and requests. She raised her voice to my father and made us feel unwelcome. We had only one round due to the vastly negative experience and were there for over an hour and a half. If the service was solely slow, we likely would have stayed for a few rounds of drinks and food, but service lead us to choose elsewhere. Best of luck to their future customers. read more

To date, I've visited 241 breweries across the country and overseas, and in my own back yard is this amazing brewery that kills it on every brew. And the food is probably the best I've had in this sort of "brewery first" venue model. The only downside is that because of these things plus the apparent need of a local bar in the area, the place is always mobbed and the service tends to be terse. But when you sell something that everybody wants I guess you can afford to be terse! read more

I was on a trip this past holiday weekend to the tea for skiing and my fiancé and I love breweries! My fiancé, his sister and I found this brewery and took a ride there and sampled each beer on their menu. I was shocked to find that I liked every single one of their beers. Even beers that were outside of my taste preference were really good and that was the consensus around the table! The beer is reasonably priced and I love how they have taster prices and different sized servings. We had ate before we came, I wish we didn't because everyone's food looked awesome. A fun and upbeat brewery with a great community setting complete with a gameroom. Be sure to show up early for seating; it's a small place and fills up fast. Although the staff is always kind they do have a tendency to not always be as attentive as they could be. Food and beer are decent although at times inconsistent. Overall my experience has been positive and we always look forward to visiting. read more

This is my second yelp review ever! I have something to say. Good beer, good food. I love going to breweries when I'm bouncing around on the weekend. I like to order a sampler of 4-6 4 oz beers and if someone strikes my fancy I always like buying a growler or crowler of that fresh yummy beer. I order a paddle of 4 beers yesterday and my favorite was the Cold, Yellow, Hoppy. Delicious! I also had an order of poutine (which was also yummy). I finished my beer and tried to order a crowler of the Cold, Yellow, Hoppy to go and was denied, weird. The server informed me (in a positive way to their credit) that the Cold, Yellow, Hoppy was already available in cans (4 or 6 packs, I didn't look). The issue is that I personally go to breweries for the fresh poured beer. Just like I go to farms for fresh picked veggies or to a fish market for fresh caught fish. I'm sure the canned beer in the refrigerator by the bar is fresh and I understand there is an investment made in canning the product and IPA's only last so long in cans ect... That being said I personally think that not selling me a crowler of the Cold, Yellow, Hoppy is a silly policy. With all the stamps I've earned on my NH and VT brewery passports and all the breweries I've visited in the US and internationally, this is the first brewery that did not want to sell me fresh poured beer to go. Again, I'm sure your canned beer is just fine, just not why I visited your brewery. read more

Tonight was the second time I've been here. The first time was after I had their winning poutine at PoutineFest at Fisher Cat stadium so I had to go back for more. Tonight I was extremely disappointed in the new poutine recipe. You DO NOT change an award winning recipe!!! I was so excited to come here for the poutine and it was terrible compared to the old recipe. I can not believe they would mess with the poutine recipe that won at PoutineFest. Sure, the food is tasty and inventive and we welcome a brewery with a great assortment of beers but be prepared to leave with laryngitis and damaged hearing. The music is so loud you'll be forced to lip read for the entire dining experience. Yes, we all know pretzels and beer only taste extraordinary when you crank up the tunes to 80+ decibels. Our server took our orders through sign language and menu pointing and even she admitted the music was making her ears ring. Poor thing tried several times to turn the volume down only to have it cranked up by another server ( obviously a fan of Nirvana). If you think you can escape the the raucous atmosphere by arriving early it won't work, the place is packed from the moment it opens. Obviously a sign that us locals are desperate for a beer & bite ( no other breweries) so take your earplugs or Speedway headphones with you and enjoy some great brews and pub food! read more

Went by twice closed on days they were supposed to be open. Owner came out said they were having a party was very rude and acted like we were doing something wrong coming to the door. This place really lives up to the hype! Every time we drove by, it was packed. We finally had a weekday off and decided to go for a late lunch. The fried pretzel bites and hog wings were excellent. The pizza was incredible - perfect crust and unique toppings that combined perfectly. We both got beer flights so we could try multiple kinds. My favorite was the Bomb Hop and his favorite was the Local Hooligan. They had a great variety, from IPAs to stouts, and even a sour. I just wish they were open a little later at night, but I'm sure they'll adjust as they get established. This is exactly the kind of place we needed in the area! My GF and I, appreciating a good brewery experience hit up Yelp for a suggestion when we were out of town and in the Tilton area. Top notch reviews set us off in the direction of Kettlehead on a Sunday just before noon. Although the place was busy we were able to grab the last hightop, which happened to be right in front of the bathrooms (sarcastic yay!). The place has a cool vibe, chalkboard menus, view into the brewery area, cool bar. So far, so good. We really wanted to love this place since we are in the area often enough and would love to have a hidden jewel to dip in to, but... Heed the warnings about the place being LOUD. The music wasn't memorably loud, but the way the place collects ambient noise is impressive. You end up speaking in a raised voice and cocking your head to hear the person next to you. Having a soft spoken waitress doesn't help matters. The food menu was short and sweet with above average prices for what similar apps and plates run in other places. The difference is quantity and quality. We stuck to apps since the plan was to bounce through the Lakes Region during the day and simply ordered the "hot wings" and chips/salsa. Not only did it take an extremely long time for this stuff to arrive, but there were only 3 wings (yes...3) on the plate for $12 and they were overcooked. They were nothing more than raw whole wings tossed into the fryer and sizzled until past done and right about a little dry. The sauce was poured over the top so the wings themselves were not tossed and did not have anything like an even coating of flavor. Chips and salsa were also unimpressive. A couple of handfuls of chips on a small cookie tray with one tiny ramekin of salsa, and another of a gouda sauce, which happened to be very good. The beer though...what about the beer?? Since we snagged a high top right away we didn't have any experience with the bartender who may or may not have been better, but the 20-something waitress knew nothing about the beers on tap. If I were asking about a craft brew at the 99 I would expect this, but at a brewery? Come on! If you need help figuring out which beer you want, consider yourself an explorer without a map. I had asked about an IPA and she said simply they had two "this one or that one". When asked the difference between them; "I think one is a little darker. If you want you can buy a flight" Really!?!?!? Everything they say about milennials is so far true. I almost expect that kind of apathy at this point but to find it is always disappointing. I took my chances and picked an IPA that had a good description. Tasted fine, but it was on the flat side, like the Bud Lights we drank from college party kegs. Again, not what I expected. Fantastic place. I wish this brewery nothing but the best. Great atmosphere, excellent beer and excellent foods. Nothing gets better than that. The chocolate stout on nitro was honestly the best chocolate stout I have ever tried. The smell was even incredible. And what a genius idea to put it on nitro so it is more creamy and tastes just like an adult chocolate milkshake...!! The pizza was fantastic - you could tell it was wood fired. Service was great and they had a great tap list of variety and even variety with styles like IPAs. It is really neat to see a brewery of this size with a flagship beer that is a New England IPA. Its hazy, New England IPAs are pretty killer, and are really well done. I got an incredible amount of great lemon notes. I wish I lived closer to Kettleheads - I would go here all the time and definitely recommend this place to anyone, hands down. It is a quick stop off of 93 and totally worth it! I hope Kettleheads gets so popular that it expands even more! What fun to have a small brewery like this in the Lakes Region! We will be back every time we go to the Lakes Region! read more

When I went to Kettlehead I was annoyed. A whole group of football players went there to celebrate. The coaches sat there and drank while the kids ran around. The ordered the Mac and cheese with steak. It was amazing! It took forever to come though. And with the team of middle school football players, it was hard to like. Overall I rate Kettlehead Brewing a 3/5 for its great food, but not so good service along with a group of annoying football players. I would recommend Kettlehead, but wouldn't go there if it's super busy. read more

If you love IPAs, this is your place! Everything I tried was good! The food was much better than standard brewery food ( if they have food at all.) We tried the lettuce wraps and the burrata with basil and tomato - superb. Pleasant surprise, because we really just came in to try the beer, but came away super impressed by both the drink and the food. You guys are doing a great job!! read more
