The salesmen who work here are money hungry snake oil salesmen. I bought a Hyundai Veloster a few years back and they sold me the warranty for my transmission come to find out that warranty only covers automatic cars and NOT MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS but they failed to tell me that information before I purchased the car so my clutch went on my car and they told me there is nothing they can do for me because clutches are wear and tear items BUT NEVER TOLD ME THIS WHEN I PURCHASED A STICK SHIFT CAR so why even offer that warranty as an option if it doesn't apply to my car. So fast forward clutch goes out on my car, cool I bring it in for service and they tell me they can't fix my clutch under warranty as stated in the last paragraph. So they tell me to go talk to a young salesman by the name of Brandon and I told him I wanted to get something similar to a Benz and I ended up seeing a Hyundai Genesis I liked (Certified Used). NOW, I'm fair skinned and of Puerto Rican descent and have African American siblings, so while I was checking out the car we were just having small talk as I'm admiring the car he turns to me and tells me something along the lines of "Yeah a lot of black guys can't afford Benz's so they just buy one of these instead, its a great car and they like them." I was a little taken back by this comment but initially brushed it off. I also noticed bangs, scrapes, and dings on the car and Brandon told me he can send me to someone who will take care of all the bodywork for around $200-$300 and also that the warranty is STILL ON THE CAR, Brandon's sales manager also confirmed this. As we are starting to get to the end of the sale we go and talk to Brandon's "Sales Manager" Eddie. Now if you need someone to put pressure on you and make you feel like a piece of shit while making your purchase then Eddie is your guy. While I was trying to negotiate a lower interest rate and overall lower price on the car because of the minor scrapes and dings this guy Eddie decides he's going to tell me about my finances and made unnecessary comments about my credit score in the middle of negotiation at that point I told him I was going somewhere else to find a new car because I didn't appreciate how he was handling the situation. He stops me and apologizes as I'm getting ready to walk out and tells me he will drop my interest rate and overall price on the car for me if I go forward with the purchase...Cool, so I continued the process after some debate. So we get to the final stage of this entire ordeal and I meet with the financial department guy named Jason I believe. I really like Jason and his energy very nice guy so we are going through the "gap insurance" policy that comes optional with the car and I told him I wanted to opt out of that option because I'm just going to go thru my insurance company and was told that I can only get gap coverage through the dealership since I technically don't own the car yet (which isn't true) and when they told me about the warranty it was only for 1,000 miles and I had to pay EXTRA to renew the warranty that was previously on the car for 100,000 miles, on top of that the car was saying it needed to be serviced and they didn't even service the car they just reset the meters in the garage... Finally, after a few weeks of purchasing my car, I was contacting Brandon weekly for the information so I can get the minor body work done on my car and I was just being ignored through text, email and he would tell me a day to stop by and not even be working that day. So I messaged him the following text "Hey Brandon I've been waiting a couple weeks for you to get back to me with the information to get the body work done on my car but you haven't been responding to any of my contact attempts, I guess I was just good for a sale and some money now I'm not important huh?" He answered immediately after he saw that text and responded with the info I had been hunting him down for. This dealership is completely dishonest, rude and only cares about making as much money as they can off of the people they sell cars to. read more

I realize I had no appointment for an oil change and expected to wait a little bit but not impressed I brought it in at 10am and was still sitting in the waiting from at 2pm then told it might be another hour (not said with confidence from the advisor). I'm extremely frustrated with their service department. Aaron is my service provider. I brought my car in last month to get it fixed and was told it would be done in a few days but there were delays due to a missing part. After a week of waiting, there were still no updates. Finally, after getting a hold of them they let me take my car back and charged me for the missing part, and told me to come back when it arrives. It's been way over a month and there are no updates. Never thought I'd be writing a 5-star review on a car dealership, but, this one is absolutely deserved. I don't live close to this dealership, in fact, there are 3 closer dealers to my location. I was looking to buy the new Palisade Limited and had the most dreadful experience at the closest dealer to my location. After a friend suggested Keyes Hyundai, I called them and spoke to Brian (sales mgr), immediately I knew this would be a much better experience. We quickly agreed on a price. And, being that Keyes has an enormous inventory, Brian was able to grab me the exact car I was looking. To top it off, being that I was in a pinch for time and I was far from the dealer, he had a extremely friendly sales member drive the car out to me and we signed all the docs at my home. Seriously could not have been a better purchasing experience. So, save yourself the time and heartache of these other dealers, do yourself a favor and stick with Keyes. The incompetence continues. Despite taking an active role personally, in calling and making contact with someone at DMS (the company who handles their service contracts, apparently), I STILL do not have my refund. Today is October 26, 2021, SIX months since I started the cancelation process. I paid off my car. I sent an updated cancelation request to both DMS and Lucine at Keyes Hyundai. I included the payoff letter that stated that the loan was paid in full. I even received a confirmation note from Lucine on 9/13 that said "Of course I'm glad you notified me otherwise they may have sent it to the loan." Well guess what, they STILL sent the check to Hyundai Finance and not to me. I called accounting and the person I spoke to stated that she did not have the updated paperwork that the loan had been paid in full so the check went to Hyundai. Now I have to call Hyundai Finance and try to get them to send the check to me. This is beyond ridiculous. The only helpful person so far was the woman I just spoke to in accounting who could not have been more apologetic about the mistake. To be clear, this was not her fault. She cut the check to the wrong entity due to lack of direction and clarity from the top down. Everyone else here has been of ZERO help. If you buy your car here, DO NOT BUY THE ADD-ON SERVICE CONTRACTS IF YOU EVEN SUSPECT YOU MAY CANCEL OR YOU TOO WILL WASTE PRECIOUS TIME AND ENERGY CHASING DOWN YOUR REFUND. read more

Unprofessional people really. My girlfriend and I got there. Salesman comes out greets us. After asking what car were looking for he starts asking how our credit is right off the bat without even asking what our needs or wants were. Takes him 45 min !!! to bring over an elantra we were specific about. We look at the car in its dirty dusty demeanor. We didn't test drive because we had done so before. We run credit first( he was sooo eager to do that) then we come to talk numbers....this is where it gets super ugly We had our own financing, though we wee open to theirs if it was better.He comes in with their number at $1500 over MSRP. I told him no one pays over msrp. He said coldly, yes they do and this is what it is, no negotiating. He goes id like to earn your business but I don't need it. Straight out. I mentioned the college grad rebate, which we qualified for.He even said that the rebate offered was up to the dealer to give it or not ..YEAAAA RIGHIIITTTT. Thats from the factory After the same load of crap from the sales manager we just walked out....btw we made what I call a fair offer which other dealers were accepting. Don't buy from these people. We committed to buy, but before the paperwork was finished, Richard (sales) left for a ball game and left us with Julius (finance) who tricked us into getting an alarm system that didn't work. We brought it in a couple additional times to have it checked out, and we think it finally got fixed. Came by today with my fiancee and her family to look at leasing a 2012 Sonata. Everyone seemed very friendly at first. We had to drive with the sales person (Tom Eplin) to their other lot to actually see the model we were interested in (their main lot is extremely small). Up to that point it was actually quite pleasant. Once we started talking numbers, things got ugly. First, Tom insisted that we tell him what the other dealership we had been to had offered us. It took us saying NO a few times before he finally let up. I am fine with telling them the numbers, but in this case I had written down the numbers on a paper, but forgot to bring it. He literally refused to discuss numbers until we finally said that we didn't feel comfortable "guessing" what the other dealership offered us. Once we finally did start talking numbers, he seemed to be extremely upset by the fact that we pointed out the excess numbers of the Sonata we found online. He insisted that he is selling 10 cars a day easily and that they are currently paying MORE money for used 2011 Sonatas than what they sold them for. Never in my life have I seen someone actually say that they are paying MORE for used cars than for what they originally sold them for!! After that flat out lie, he refused to negotiate from their advertised price. He said that any less than that price and the company would be losing money. Then he became very upset and told us we would not lease a car from him.....well he was right about that!! I would never recommend this place to anyone for anything! read more

LONG REVIEW! First of all, let me start with telling you that it was pouring when we arrived at the Dealership on Saturday. We got greeted at the door and asked right away which car we are interested in. Ummm, may I go inside first, Sir? It is raining really, really hard right now?!" Oh, yes yes. OK, so inside the car dealership we go. I tell him that I am interested in a Hyundai Sonata, he immediately asked me if I want to see a red one. No, I want to see a white one. He leaves to get the car I want to look at. When he comes back, he tells us to go inside the car. I'm thinking to look at the interior since the car was not displayed in the showroom. But he was eager to have me test drive the car already. So we go on a little test drive, he asks me if I like the car (I did). When we get back to the dealership he asks to run my credit. I told him no need to, my bank updated my credit report just yesterday and I want to see an offer based on the credit score I provide you with. He seemed a little annoyed but went ahead and filled out an estimate for me. Basically $5,000 down and almost $400/month. I said No, Sir. I am not interested in any down payment, I think my credit is good enough to have that luxury of zero down. I also don't want to spend more than $320 (I was willing to spend a little more but I wanted to see what he can offer). So after going to his manager, which seemed forever, he came back and told me while the manager is going over his paperwork we can test drive the car again (I wanted my boyfriend to test it as well). So we did that, came back and his manager informed him lowest he can go is $358. I told him right away that is not what I want and that I don't NEED a car, but wanted to see if there are options out there where I could get a new car in a price range I am OK with. Now, his whole demeanor changed after he presented the numbers. He was a very nice man to talk to before, but all of sudden his pushy side took over and he kept telling me he might be able to lower to $350, if he can run my credit. I told him No, I don't think for me personally $350 is a good deal and $8 not gonna do it. He then told me he really wants to sell a car and make this deal. I responded I really wanted to get a car, but not for what he offers. You could tell he started to get really frustrated. He then went to get his manager to have him talk to us. OK, whatever, at that point I already decided to leave and grab some lunch because I started to feel light headed. When they came back I told him that we will get back to him after grabbing lunch since I don't feel good, that way we can think about his offer. Now I do understand that most car salesmen are pushy but it was clear to me that he was just interested in selling A CAR, not making a deal that makes the potential client happy. His response to me was, and I quote, "you want to grab lunch, that just means you want to check out other dealerships and seal the deal there? You can sign here and then get lunch." Umm, no Sir, I am not going to sign anything. What part of this is not exactly the offer I was looking for did you not understand? He was very frustrated since what he offered was not what I wanted to do. My credit score is mid 700s. The best he could apparently do after talking to his manager was $358/m for the Hyundai Sonata 2019 SEL. He repeated a couple of times how bad he wants to sell this car: "I really want to make this deal. I really need to sell this car." etc. It all sounded more like a game for him, not in the customers favor at all. I started to feel like on a Turkish bazaar. So finally, as we were leaving, my boyfriend thanked him for his time and for going above and beyond (to get the car in the rain to test drive it etc.). The sales mans response was a sour face, an almost eye roll and "Apparently not good enough since you're not buying the car". He definitely changed our shopping experience right there, and it went from decent to bad. Even if I was still interested in getting the car, which I wasn't because of the price, I would not want to do business here. After lunch we went to Galpin HONDA and I purchased the HONDA Accord 2019 Sport for $330/m. Definitely better overall experience and a lower price for a better car. read more
