I went to Keypoint to open a checking account. All of the staff at my Dublin branch are the most welcoming and helpful people I could wish for. I had Ken Nakamura help me with all the paperwork. He was very patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. He has a wonderful personality and made me feel at ease right away. Also I give him top credit for following up with me about a week later to make sure the checking account was working for me, and did I have any questions or problems. I was having trouble establishing a link between my other credit union and Keypoint so I could transfer funds. Ken helped me with that. I have been a member of KeyPointCU since 1996, before when they were AEACU. Since they have been KEYPOINTCU, I absolutely LOVE each and everyone at the Dublin Branch. Hands down to the entire team! Angela, Shari, Sam, Ken and Christy whom I encountered with the most. They all have helped me with any services that has been needed. From opening up new accounts for my family members, car loans and HELOC. (HELOC was funded in 11 days! Amazing!) I love the personal experiences that I have with everyone. I can always send a text to Angela for a quick question and she would response immediately. Email any of the team members a question and the question would be answered. This review has been long overdue. I opened a key point account a few months back. I was convinced by Sam. It was much better than a bank. Ar first I was very skeptical so I didn't move all my funds into KeyPoint all at once I divided my direct deposit from Bank of America and have half of it going to key point. And a notice that I get paid three days earlier than Bank of America, which helps a lot because I live paycheck to paycheck because I take care of my family. I have been their client since ~2010 when I financed my suv through them. I completed my financing and went back to them as I had and urgent need to refinance my Tesla Auto Loan due to a mortgage loan. Ken Nakamura, was the financial service representative who helped me and my husband when we went there just a couple of days ago. Unusual to rate a bank, but if there was ever a bank that deserved 5 stars - this is the one. I started off my relationship with KeyPoint with an auto loan. As I interacted with the branch, having superior customer service and personalized attention, I switched over my entire banking relationship to KeyPoint. I'm talking about several business accounts, personal accounts, heloc, etc. when it came time for PPP, they moved at an amazing speed to get us approved and funded, saving us from disaster! Ken, Dez, Sam, Mimi make transactions a breeze and with the leadership of Angela, they've been able to help make this entire banking experience actually good. I don't regret moving away from too-big-to-fail Bank of America which does not care about customer service.
