These guys were great. Professional and friendly. We replaced our driveway and sidewalks with pavers, and it looks great. We worked out the design together, and Keystone made it happen. The workmanship is excellent. These guys worked really hard in the blazing sun to demo, prep, and lay the stonework. The workers were skilled and confident. HORRIBLE, did not complete on time by MONTHS almost a YEAR. Still dealing with problems with the work 2-3 years later and they refuse to fix. Avoid this company at all costs. They took forever on the project and did a bad job. Impossible to communicate with and only interest was charging us for incremental items during the process. A) Project was poorly graded. Pool floods with mud during rain. B) Planned pergola which did not confirm to code, had to scrap that part of the project. C) Never completed sewer line in contract, instead installed system to pump raw sewage onto street. D) Pool tile came off after project, causing large section to have to replace. To date they claim it "could be an earthquake." What earthquake? They refuse to take responsibility and wanted to charge us to repair their poor work. Do not hire Keystone to do your pool remodeling. They gave us an estimate, after they demolished the pool and garden they demanded extra $20,000. They damaged structures and pipes under the pool, causing damage to the out house. They were never able to fix the problems they caused!! Be warned and stay away. Multiple people are suing them. Their security bond has been seized therefore you'll not be protected. Unfortunately they'll probably bankrupt their company and start another one. read more

BEWARE DO NOT USE KEYSTONE REMODELLING! They are being sued by multiple people for Non-Performance and poor work like practices. I had a very unfortunate experience with Keystone Remodelling and wish that I never met them! Firstly they quoted $100k and after they demolished my whole backyard and pool they came back to me and told me they were going to walk if I didn't increase the contract price to $122K. They use multiple unskilled contractors that are not even employees of Keystone Remodelling! These JOKERS are just facilitators ripping off home owners with cheap, unskilled labor! They applied for a Permit with the LA city and then forgot to get inspections along the way, so they cancelled the permit and left me with a pool with an open permit which cost me the SALE of my $6m house in Beverly Hills! When they renovated my pool, Keystone forgot to connect the return jet lines meaning that the pool equipment could never work. Not only this, they also smashed pipes under the ground and flooded under my house. They covered over drains and broke irrigation lines. The pool tiles are cracked and the pool is leaking. They damaged multiple pieces of pool equipment when they tried dug under the pool to try and reinstall jet lines into the pool. In the end my pool now needs to be fully renovated again. Currently I owe them $7,500 and they have placed a $22,500 Lein on my property! You need to go to their place of business. They will not answer the door as there are Legal people trying to serve them everyday and therefore they do not answer the door! Don't fall for Arvi's gesture of free Israeli food... It is all a trick to suck up to you! These people are disgusting and do not have right to have a contractors license in the State of California. Be Careful! Very Careful! read more

Some of them said that it was a major job and quoted me at 25,000 with out explaining what was going to be done, others said 9,000 but their license was expired. Finally I get Keystone Remodeling to show up and the project manager (Offir) showed me different designs done by the company. Additionally he showed me that his license was up to date by Contractor's licensing board. He also gave me 25% discount and within a week they were done.I attached pictures for you to see. Starting any home renovation project can be intimidating and stressful but after meeting Jacob from Keystone Remodeling, who made us feel so at ease, we put our trust in him to get the work done. We were looking into replacing our driveway but the next thing we knew we were also getting a new roof, which needed to be replaced anyway, and solar panels. We are so happy with our backyard. We worked with Oren and he is absolutely incredible! He is easygoing, kind, respectful, honest, responsible and just a joy to work with. We were looking into re-building the retaining wall in our backyard and we had such a hard time finding a contractor that would not try to take advantage and we found our dream contractor in Keystone Remodeling. We hired Keystone Remodeling for our backyard remodel in January 2022. I cannot say enough great things about this company. They went above and beyond and we are so thrilled with how our backyard looks now. In the beginning, I reached out to several companies for price quotes and I found Keystone's pricing to be fair. But what really impressed me was that Avi shared their business credentials and licensing with me during our first visit. No other company did that unless I requested it, and even still I didn't get responses back from some. I worked with Avi and Eric, both of whom were so kind and attentive to my questions and requests for the backyard remodel. The crew worked quickly and completed the remodel in a few week's time. We had Keystone build a cinderblock wall with stucco over top. They removed the old chain link fence and put in a fantastic wall and wooden gate. They also installed artificial turf and a short retaining wall to match the new fence. For the turf they brought over several samples, and for the paint color on the stucco they shared plenty of options. Overall, the crew kept me informed with every decision. We could not be happier with the team at Keystone. From the time Oren and Sean came for the initial consultation, they were friendly, professional, personable, and upfront about cost. We had moved into a new build in 2016, and had our dirt yard done with turf and pea gravel/flagstones. What a mess! We finally decided to do something about it. The guys listened to all of our ideas, helped us flesh out the design, and were super patient when our HOA stalled us. When we were finally ready to begin work, demo of the entire yard (including concrete!), prep, and install, took less than a week! We got two areas of turf (one for the dogs, one for the baby), pavers, low-voltage lighting, and vinyl fencing to hide the trash cans. They also relocated our AC unit to a more convenient place, giving us so much more space. They left the yard totally clean when they left, as well! All of the workers did an amazing job. I cannot recommend Keystone highly enough. Oren and Sean really go above and beyond, they always respond to questions promptly, and they make you feel like you and your project are important to them! read more

Be careful not to get scammed, please read your contract thoroughly and don't fall into their sweet-talking trap. They will get you, damage your property and leave. Full story: one of our family friends had heard about Keystone and they were looking to get some landscaping done in the backyard and this person named Beni had offer them some too good to be true deals. But since they are licensed, we did not expect any shady business. I also was looking for someone to paver my backyard and contacted this person Beni to come and provide an estimate. He provided the estimate and offered to do pool renovation and etc which was normal for a salesperson. Beni claimed to provide us the best financing option which was through a program that gets you a finance based on your property tax, and it has a much easier underwriting process than a typical loan. He claimed he could get us a 3.5% loan with zero down payment and zero payment for first year which again seemed too good to be through as normal construction loans are somewhere between 7% to 9% nowadays. Beni claimed that to apply for this loan there has to be a contract. The contract he wrote only stated that they were going to demo the backyard and put the paver the whole thing was 1 sentence with the price. Prior to writing the contract and as part of negations, Beni agreed to install the BBQ island drain for me and his exact sentence was "don't worry bro we will take care of you" but when it came to the contract he said "oh I cant put that in the contract because this program is only for water conservation and I cannot tell the lender that we are going to do the drain for you, they will not qualify the loan for you" Although I did not like that but I was bought into the idea that he will do it. DO NOT EVER GO WITH VERBAL CONFIRMATION WITH THESE GUYS. Later that day I consulted with my family and because the loan package appealed too good, we decided to go with pool and front yard renovation as well. I contacted Beni the next day and he brought the amendment contract at night with the statement that pool and front yard renovation was now part of the work. I then again asked Beni to include the drainage of BBQ island in the contract now that we have pool renovation also included and he declined to do so due to the same reason that loan doc will not get approved. I received the loan docs the next day, sure enough, the loan was too good to be through, they were charging $8K closing cost (that's more than 10 points on this loan). I denied signing the loan and told Beni that this will not work for me. He said he will get me another loan with 0% interest the first year, I said I will do that if he can pull it off. After three weeks of back and forth with the lending officer, she was able to get me three different loans with three different lenders two of which they charged 9.5% and 7.5% and the third one that had 0% interest the first year but it was the lowest amount of the three loans. At this point, Beni told me that the lending officer will put all the documents together and send them to me for my review. However, I mentioned to him that now that we are now going with the property tax loan and there was no restriction on the scope of work we should modify the contract and include all the work that we had previously discussed like the drainage system and also the front yard work as the 3D design proposed was completely different than what we initially agreed on. He agreed and said he would inform me of the time. Keystone office then called me and asked me if it was okay for them to go and drain the pool and I said no because I need to talk to Beni and finalize the contract. Immediately then Beni called me after and said please don't mention to the office that the contract needs to be finalized; we can meet tonight to discuss, I said okay. Then I received a text from him that he could meet the next day at 8AM. That day when I got back from work, I saw my pool was being drained without my permission, I immediately called Beni and asked him what was happening and he said he already "opened the ticket" for my work and he was under impression that I was okay with starting the work. He then asked me what I wanted to talk about for the contract and I said the drainage, we should include it. He then said "What drainage? BBQ Island? Yea we can do it bro, it would be additional cost tho" I was shocked, I said I am not paying extra. After some back and forth he said he will cancel my contract and he was not responsible for the water that he had drained. Couple days passed and I had cool down and decided to let the whole thing go. However, on a Sunday, I noticed that the pump was no longer in the pool and it was gone, I checked the security cameras and saw that sure enough, they trespassed to my backyard and took the pump and left. Horrible! Run!! We used them 2 years ago and hated working with them every step of the way. It was problem after problem and I wish we stopped the job as soon as the problems started. Well, we continued to the end and didn't fight to get what we hated or what was completely done wrong redone. Tile Job was horrible, bbq was never sealed and now two year late the spa and Baja shelf are completely cracking! Tile is popping off and cracks on only the new build. No one we worked with is still there and we called some guy out to look at the all cracks and the guy said it was "an earthquake". Funny we live in Thousand Oaks and we have not had earthquakes that cause cracks only on the "new build" part of a pool. We have filed with the contractors board to go after their bond. Seems like other people are doing the same so who know is any money will be left to fix our pool. We spent 200,000 on this remodel and now it will cost us another 25,000 to fix this disaster. Asked to have drainage installed but sales consultant kept implying that it is not needed, that they wouls install the pavers and turf slopping away from the house. My wife and I are not a contractor so we assume that the pros knows better but when we cleaned up, there were water puddles that accumulated by the side access door. Workers very disrespectful and unsanitary as they urinated at the side of the house. When confronted, they pretended not to speak english. Used Yelp to get a few estimates for our very small back yard. Keystone was one of the few that made the effort to call us back and offer someone to come out and provide a free estimate. Honestly makes so much of a difference vs the other companies that would just ask us to provide rough measurements and provide us a quote over the phone. There was a small hiccup with the original scheduling but I can appreciate the fact that they were very accountable and transparent about it. They had Avi come out who is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had no idea what we wanted to do (concrete, pavers, turf, mix) so we were looking for recommendations and Avi took the time to explain to us the different options and their pros/cons. He showed us examples of previous projects and showed us a magazine of different material available. We also needed to get approval with HOA and he assured us they would be able to provide whatever is necessary for the project (licenses, insurance, drawing of proposed floor plan, etc) and even took down our HOA's contact information so they can reach out directly. We decided we wanted to move forward so he connected us with Mai who is the project manager and she was very proactive in working with HOA. Once we got the approval we were able to schedule the project to start the very next week. The workers showed up on time and I did not interact with them much because I was working. They originally told us an estimated time of three days to get it done but everything was completed in one day. The only recommendation I would make is for the team to be more aware of where they leave their material. Towards the end of the day, Eric, the supervisor notified me they would be done with everything in another hour or so and they would be back the following day to pick up the remaining material however, I had to leave before they were done cleaning up and came home to a pallet of left over material in front of our neighbors yard door. The next morning I touched based with Mai because she wanted to check in and see if everything turn out okay with the project and I let her know about the left over material and she was able to get someone to pick it up within a few hours.
