    Large French fries

I walked in yesterday after the yelp elite event down the street for the eco-friendly store. I went with my good friend so we could have some comfort food. We had the famous bowl(mashed potatoes, cheese, corn and some chicken nuggets), large fries, and a soft drink. Unlike some of the reviews, I feel our cashier was so nice, and she asked us if we needed anything and helped us handing us packets of ketchup. She had a welcoming attitude. The meal arrived promptly, and the food was okay. It is fast food, so it was salty and delicious as expected. I guess the thing that could be improved would be that two things: the trash can was filled to the top and also the tables could be wiped down for the next person. Other than that, I would say that was a positive experience.

    KFC Wraps Combo (~$10)
    Aya E.

Ordered: KFC Wraps Combo (~$10): Classic Chicken Wrap with thick-cut pickles and mayo & Spicy Chicken Wrap that's topped with coleslaw, pickles and spicy sauce; with Secret Recipe Fries (side) and Diet Pepsi (fountain drink) Aya's take: Honestly, KFC getting into the wrap game (pun intended) isn't the worst idea - these were actually good! Both Classic & Spicy wraps had good flavor; I preferred the Spicy one because of the spicy sauce but the pickles on the Classic one really added another layer of flavor. The Secret Recipe Fries were crispy and warm but not the freshest this time around. Good one-time try for me!

mobile order is cheaper than going to order at the cashier. They prepare pretty quickly. Eating inside is quite peaceful. No music inside. The couch seat is pretty tight and table is not removable. One bathroom is available. It's very clean inside! Chicken is hot and delicious :) highly recommended here KFC in NYC. Every once in a while. w have a craving for junk food, and so it was a desire to try out KFC. Many years ago, I used to go there and thought I had reviewed them. I had not. So last week I had to go back and try their traditional three pieces, fries and soda. It was just around closing time so they were very anxious to get me out. I explained that I only wanted to sit down for a few minutes as it was freezing outside, so we compromised on a small standing table near the front entrance. I was actually done in 15 mins and cleaned up my table. Overall, just every other junk food place, the portions seem to have become smaller and smaller. Even the size of the restaurant has shrunk from when I was last in there around 2016. As for the original chicken, fries, and soda, it was a traditional, unhealthy but satisfying meal with what you would expect from KFC. They won't be a regular local spot for me.

Unpleasant Experience with Cashier Melissa at KFC Stienway and she lied on her Identity, receipt shows Anny means PROFESSIONAL BLUNDER On Monday, September 29, at 16:50, Cashier Melissa at KFC Stienway gave us a very poor customer service experience. This is not even the time to get tired. She misled us about specials, neglected to give us accurate menu information, and acted rudely, which caused us to order incorrectly and finish the transaction with only 16 pieces of food and coleslaw. Even French fries, which are essential to have with chicken, were not available because she told us there were no French fries available. We told her repeatedly that she is not providing us proper menu available but she showed no remorse. We have decided not to visit this specific KFC location again if Melissa is around as a result of this encounter. She should be warned that potential clients will encounter her negative attitude and unhelpful demeanor.

    Delicious! Beyond chicken

The beyond chicken nuggets are amazing, it's dangerous. I'll probably get the combo once a week. Great location, easy to access on Steinway. Walkable area.

Chicken tenders, French fries... Awful experience! The food wasn't fresh and it was tasteless, I never ate a worse meal!!

Awful experience! The food was old, tasteless, I never ate a worse meal. I'm not from the USA but KFC is my favorite fast food in my country. It was disappointing, I will never go to KFC here again.

I was surprised to find that it's a ghost kitchen. You walk behind the coffee shop and order from a kiosk with many other restaurants to order from as well. My order took 15 minutes and within the estimated time frame that they gave you. Once my order was ready, I clicked to open via text and the locker popped open with my bag --viola! I ordered the Claude the Claw ($18.99) with medium spicy sauce on the side. The sandwich is pretty huge. I like how they wrapped the sandwich around the claw sticking out from the bottom. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). I'd suggest getting the claw for your first time, but I'd get the regular sandwich in the future for the lower price.

That said, the sandwich itself is great. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, and the spicy, smoky sauce complements it beautifully. It's a solid, flavorful sandwich that's definitely worth trying. You will need to decide for yourself if it lives up to the hype. A heads up, the place can be tricky to find. It's tucked inside a building behind the coffee shop that Google Maps directs you to, and seating is very limited.

This location has cute Raising Cane's merchandise. The energy inside is wild, but the real question was: does the food actually live up to the massive hype? I came straight here chasing that legendary crispy, saucy bite--and it did not disappoint. The chicken fingers were piping hot, incredibly tender, and practically standard-issue vessels for that iconic Cane's Sauce. The classic crinkle-cut fries were solid, but the real sleeper hit is always that buttery, pillowy Texas toast. When you assemble the ultimate bite--chicken, sauce, toast, and a fry-- it's devine. It's fast, it's chaotic, and it's a total Times Square experience. If you're looking for a quick, comforting, and undeniably crispy late-night bite in the city, this flagship location delivers exactly what you're craving. For being in such a busy tourist area, everything ran surprisingly smoothly. The line moved quickly and our food came out fast and fresh. I was especially impressed with how clean it was. I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

LOL But, as I write this, I realize that the boneless chicken pieces I have ordered twice, are not messy, even tho I'm hands-on with that meal, too. LOL. so, I could eat those in the shop, and not feel like my hands are a total mess. SERVICE is friendly and helpful. ASK if you have questions. :) I've had the chicken wings, and the boneless fried chicken. I like the sauce choices, and the complimentary small container of kimchi . You need to ask for it if you want it. And, right there!! Boom!! That's a BENEFIT OF READING YELP REVIEWS. Right?!! :) That part of my take-out container that is open, is open for a reason--to keep the crunchiness of the chicken. If closed, the heat from the food would make it less crunchy. As if steaming it. So, the restaurant gives you your takeout container with one part open. Make sure it stays open. I still have to try the ramen, because I'm curious about the machine -see my photos--the machine helps you prepare your ramen sold in the colorful packaged ramen available in the shop. There is a MILD-SPICY-EXTRA SPICY. SELECTION. See my photos of the COLORFUL RAMEN WALL. There is seating available inside-about 6 tables. The restaurant has become…read morea favorite among the Gen Z crowd, and after one bite of its signature chili-fried chicken, it's easy to understand why. The chicken is crunchy, intensely flavorful, and carries just the right amount of heat. Each piece is buttermilk-brined, country-fried, and dusted with Sichuan peppercorns, Tianjin chilis, and five-spice, creating a combination that's spicy, numbing, savory, and deeply addictive all at once. But the menu goes beyond the famous fried chicken. Seasonal dishes rotate regularly, alongside standout chicken sandwiches and wings that deserve just as much attention. There's an energy to the food that feels modern without losing sight of technique or tradition. That balance comes directly from chef and founder Eric Huang. Huang grew up working in his family's Chinese restaurant while training as a cellist at Juilliard School before eventually abandoning music. After a detour studying history at Northwestern University, he committed fully to cooking and spent more than a decade training in some of NYC's most prominent kitchens, including Cafe Boulud, Gramercy Tavern, and Eleven Madison Park. As a sous chef at Eleven Madison Park, he was part of the team that helped the restaurant earn the title of "Best Restaurant in the World" in 2017. Like many chefs, Huang's plans changed dramatically in 2020 when the pandemic interrupted his ambitions of opening a Michelin-starred restaurant. Instead, he returned home to help save his family's struggling business. Out of that difficult moment came the dish that would define Pecking House: the now-famous Sichuan chili country fried chicken, reportedly perfected on the very first attempt. Pecking House succeeds because it combines serious culinary pedigree with food that's delicious, craveable, and unpretentious. The fried chicken alone is worth the trip and the long line.
