I went back to redeem the free birthday chicken. However, things have changed with the deal. But first let me say that when my friend and I entered no one was there and it was empty. I am a huge fan of Pelicana's birthday chicken promotion. A free whole fried chicken on your birthday is an amazing meal to share with friends. I've been to this location twice for a friend's birthday and was glad it wasn't too packed this time around. The service was great and the food was plentiful. We got the fried chicken with two types of sauces, garlic dry rub and a garlic sauce. I enjoyed the sauce version much better as the powder was too strong for my taste. However, the reason to go here is for the fried chicken. I tried their soy garlic flavored fried chicken. That's the go to flavor for any Korean fried chicken place The chicken here tastes decent and is as crispy as expected. However, their wings are very small and not worth the price they charge. An order of wings here is 10 small wings for $19.00. I'd recommend UFC (Unidentified Flying Chickens) instead which is both cheaper with bigger portions and better quality. read more

I came here Dec 2nd for the Star Rail Collab. It was a terrible event. I came half an hour early but still had to stand outside for 5 hours. For some reason management only had 300 available stands but allowed 800 people to reserve a spot that they didn't even bother checking. This made a LOT of people not get what they wanted even though we specifically came to this one Pelicana spot because they offered the stands here. They're restocking a few supplies everyday for the rest of December but they really couldn't have told us that earlier or even open the business earlier because of how crazy the line was? The portion size is great, I especially love how the chef thinly slices the green n red peppers (I loathe thick chunks of these items and my onions also). The chicken was perfectly spiced and not overcooked and in fact juicy. The biggest compliment is the avocado not many people know how to pick a perfectly ripe avocado but Pelicana never lets me down. I love the atmosphere here in the restaurant they always play banging music they either play K-pop rap or pop and I'm here for it! I noticed they got rid of their bar in the entrance of the restaurant which I think was a wise idea because the restaurant is very narrow itself so I agree with their decision. Every time I come to Pelicana I get the same thing I get an original or crispy chicken sandwich with honey mayo, the cabbage and no pickles.. It's so good. I also recommend getting the french fries with a cheese topper on it it is unmatched.. Sidenote; Pelicana chicken offers its customers coupons and if you get five coupons you get free order of french fries and if you get 10 coupons you get a free order of wings. as a foodie I appreciate that because like I said earlier I come to this place a lot so if I can get free food off of being loyal then I'm here for it! read more

We started with 10 pieces of Crispy Spicy Chicken Wings and 6 pieces of Crispy Spicy Fried Half Chicken. We asked to have some of them without sauce just in case we don't like the sauce. We opted for Sweet & Spicy Level 1 sauce, which I found to be a tad too sweet for my liking. Perhaps we can go with something much spicier next time. I thought this place was great. I didn't dine in today, but I will definitely make a return visit to do just so. I ordered some wings to go, it was supposed to be regular wings with half BBQ sauce and half spicy BBQ sauce, I don't know if they messed up my order and gave me one of the same, but I really couldn't tell the difference between the two. I asked for an explanation for half vs whole and didn't really get an answer so I just went with 2 half orders and one whole order.
