I try to be patient. I really do. But this was ridiculous. Told to pull up and wait in the parking lot. I figured, fine... maybe they were catching up. But minute after minute kept passing, and still nothing. No one checked in. No update. Not even a glance in my direction. Just me sitting there, watching people come and go, wondering if they'd forgotten me completely. Eighteen minutes later, someone finally walks out with my order. No apology, no acknowledgment -- just a handoff like it hadn't been almost twenty minutes since I paid. By then, my root beer float had melted into a sad, sticky mess. It wasn't even worth the straw. 1 Star -- Worst Experience Ever at This Location This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. I placed an online order at 6:38 PM (Order #446582469) and arrived at the Everett KFC. I was told it would be a 5-15 minute wait, which didn't bother me. The employee later clarified it would be an additional 16 minutes because the chicken wasn't ready -- also fine. What wasn't fine was sitting in the parking lot for 40 minutes with zero communication. When I went inside to check on the order, the woman at the front counter was extremely rude and smelled strongly of marijuana. She said, "Oh, you're Roddrick, yeah there was a miscommunication, here's your food." The food she handed me was cold, so I refused it. When I asked for a refund, she told me no, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, KFC is now only refunding me half of what I paid, claiming it's their policy -- even though I waited 40 minutes, received cold food, and never actually took the meal. That is absolutely unacceptable customer service. This isn't about the money -- it's about the principle and the complete lack of professionalism. I work as a supervisor in a contact center, and this situation goes far beyond a coaching issue. This kind of behavior is exactly how businesses lose customers. On top of everything else, my meal included two biscuits, yet the bag had 10 honey packets and 10 butter packets -- just careless waste. Because of this entire experience, I will never return to this KFC. Management seriously needs to review the conduct and policies at this location before more customers walk away for good. read more

Delivery review In short You know what it is and you've probably had it since you were a kid, maybe a little less often as an adult. I was pleasantly surprised (and maybe moreso nostalgic) at how good it was for dinner last night. In long Nobody's trying to pretend this is real food or in any way capable of competing with good places everywhere around us that make some of the same menu items. But it's cheap and it's weirdly consistent all the time, even across decades. I ate KFC every now and then as a kid, and maybe a couple times since HS. A guy I grew up with just got some really good news about his dad, who I never see anymore, and I asked what his dad's favorite food was. Even if we can't go hang out with him, we'll share his favorite meal. Turns out his dad loves extra-crispy KFC with the mashed potatoes and gravy "more than a person really should," according to my buddy. That's an easy meal to replicate. These places are literally operating every couple miles around here. And of course they're on the apps. After a few days, we got ourselves in the mood for some chicken and sides to honor my buddy's dad. We got an all dark-meat bucket, which is a nice ordering option. Drums and thighs are the best parts, anyway. The batter is not quite crunchy but it is certainly extra crispy, and some of the top edges get actual crunch to them. I had 3 pieces and they all tasted good, all cooked through. You can pretty much forget about the mac & cheese, it's just flavorless mush. But the potatoes actually taste remarkably like potatoes, and if you were a kid when I was a kid you'll probably have flashbacks to those pre-mixed gravy packets when you eat this gravy. It tastes like childhood on a school night when there was less time to cook from scratch. The biscuits aren't much on their own, just kind of an AP flour taste, but they're soft and cooked very evenly, and they're not there to eat on their own. They are sopping mechanisms. You might even just open them and leave chicken on them until you're ready to eat that piece. We got at least 3--probably 4--servings of food for barely $50, which included a decent tip for the driver. It reheats well enough, too. There are so many additives and preservatives in here that there's not much question of that. And it felt fantastic to tip my cap to one of the grownups from my childhood, who's still alive and kicking. And hopefully he gets this same meal sometime soon. read more

On October 25 2025 at around 12:15 I went to the KFC on 1/28 and Everett ordered a two piece extra crispy meal. They told me they don't have any and it would be 10 to 20 minutes. What is up with the chicken place that doesn't have chicken? When I was in Washington State, and working.....I had to eat out a couple of times because I didnt really want to cook back in the hotel. I ordered KFC to curb my dinner hungers. I usually get the thigh and leg with gravy and mash potatos. It was a good dinner and it was easy to eat it. I ate it back in my hotel room. Quick and easy. I absolutely love the nashville hot crispy colonel sandwich and the fries. That's my regular and I order them atleast once a week. It's usually to go or home delivery. The fries tend to get a little soft by the time they reach home but when you pick em up at the store, they are delish! They have a little coating on them and are salted just right. One of my favorite places for fries. Tried the mini nashville hot sandwich one time which wasn't great. The bread felt stale and wasn't as fresh as the burger buns. Had to toss it out. Haven't ordered it since. Haven't tried any of the other stuff recently so can't comment on that.
