I also have a food allergy, so finding foreign objects in my food made the situation even more alarming. Food safety is not something that should ever be taken lightly, especially when customers may have allergies or other dietary concerns. Because of the seriousness of the situation, I felt it was necessary to contact the health department. Beyond the food safety concerns, the customer service I received was unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend eating at this location. I hope management addresses both the sanitation issues and the way customers are treated so no one else has a similar experience.
