So much hype with all the chicken sandwiches these days. Popeyes, McDs, BK, etc, all either updating or adding fried chicken sandwiches to their menus. Popeyes even just added a fried fish sandwich, next new trend? Anyhoo.... Just finished trying KFCs new Classic Chicken Sandwich. As you can see from the pic, huge ass piece of fried chicken breast, moist, delicious and of course crispy. Also inside are pickles and mayo then holding everything together, a pillowy brioche "style" bun. Overall I'd say it was pretty good. My only beef or chicken with the sandwich was the bun. It has a weird artificial butter flavor, perhaps margarine? In any case, if they'd change that I'd be pretty happy. Popeye's makes the best fast food fried chicken sandwich in my book, KFC comes in a close second. However with so many other fried chicken sandwiches coming soon my book could be changing. Their fries and potato wedges? Stale. Their Chicken strips? Stale. Their chicken wings? Dry, boney and stale. Their extra crispy bone in chicken? Stale. EVEN THEIR CHICKEN SANDWITCHS! STALE AF! Thier new chicken sandwitch was so stale and dry i couldnt bring myself to swallow it. My suspicion is that they cook all of the food for their opening at 10pm and just leave it under a heat lamp. I was visiting in Napa the other day and starving. I didn't want a burger and all the fast foods lines were so long except KFC. The food was terrible. Not fit for human consumption. Made me feel like crap chicken was cold the biscuit was like a hockey puck and the fries were so salty. I love the KFC in Vacaville but never will I give this location in Napa a try. I would highly suggest management supervise the staff at night. Came to the drive thru at 9:20 pm and was told it would take 14 minutes to make chicken but tenders would be available right away. This wasn't true as I was asked to park and wait. Not only was I asked about what I ordered when I got to the window but I ended up waiting 15 minutes and was missing food from my order. When I went to the door to ask for my missing items I witnessed the employee take a hit from his vape pen, employees were cooking with no gloves and it appeared they had their friends in the store hanging out. read more

Don't you ever have a craving for KFC?? Lol! we only get it a couple times a year, but that's when we just have to have that chicken! And even though the mashed potatoes aren't real potatoes, I still like them! I think it must be a childhood memory? The coleslaw is just way too sweet for me, so I come home and put it in a colander and rinse the whole thing off and add a little mayo, salt and vinegar and then it's delicious! You can't go wrong with their biscuits either... Throw them in the microwave with real butter, and they are fabulous! I don't even remember the last time I've been in side the restaurant, so I can't comment on the ambience... But the drive-through people are always friendly! read more

Called them and the woman who answered never apologized just said 'we cook it perfectly' and 'why didn't you bring it back?' I used to eat here occasionally when I was in th mood for some good chicken. My favorite was either the chicken pot pie or the extra crispy fried chicken. The pot pie was always ho and fresh and so delicious. I loved that crispy pie topping on it. So good. And lots of big chunks of delicious chicken in a scrumptious gravy, with los of vegetables mixed in. My second favorite being the extra crispy chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, with string beans They also have delicious chocolate chip cookies This place was always clean inside and the staff were always so friendly And I would always take home some of their delicious cole slaw. Terrible service, waited trapped in the drive through line forever. Finally the person in front picked up their order and left. We still were left sitting there. We finally asked if they were going to take our order and the person responded that there were just two workers trying to do it all. To please be patient. The mashed potatoes&gravy were gross, so much so they went straight to the garbage. The chicken&pickles were OK. The biscuits were strange- not that soft, with a weirdly sweet aftertaste. The service was fine. Didn't have to wait that long. The dining area was clean, but despite the lunch rush, it was a ghost town. Even the drive thru wasn't busy. All the other fast food joints nearby were doing a business. This one is just meh. read more

I have to give a huge shout out to this KFC! I was having a little stay-cation in Napa with my daughter and her 'special request' was dinner from KFC, which we rarely do. I called a different location the night before, an hour before they closed and was told they were closing early because they were 'out of chicken' (they will get a separate review!). Daughter was super bummed and ended up coming to this location the following night. At the drive thru, 30 minutes before closing, I tried to order a $20 fill up - they said they only had 4 pcs of chicken left. I thought it was going to be a repeat of the night before, but INSTEAD, they offered to make me a batch of fresh chicken if I was willing to wait 23 minutes. SCORE! These sweet employees were working on their close up clean up and were willing to put in a batch for us. On top of it, they offered a complimentary beverage for while we waited and everything was done with smiles and genuine friendliness. The cashier according to receipt was OSVALDOS and the woman that delivered to our car was Avian (not sure if spelled correctly). They were both over the top friendly. This is by far the worst kfc I've been to. I stopped here before heading to the movies. They had me wait outside for new chicken tenders. The lady brought my debit card to me after 10 minutes with no receipt. Then 5 minutes later brought me the food. The chicken hot wings were so old and dry that you couldn't even get any meat off. It was like a rock. The buiscuits were horrible. The only thing edible was the chicken tenders they made fresh. I will never come back here.
