    Bottlerock tots
    Lu Lu S.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch yesterday before heading over to Bottlerock and we are sure glad we did!! The food was solid, yummy and reasonably priced for Napa and on a busy weekend. My friend and I needed to base up for the day so brunching before a full day of fun and music was definitely in our plans, we are responsible! Ha! Anyhow, we shared a breakfast burrito and the Bottlerock tots, both delicious and filling. Besides food, we got the party starts with a carafe of champagne with sides of juices; mango and guava! They provided plenty of Mimosa juice options. Service was also stellar. Our server was prompt, friendly, and even took some pics for us!! You can't ask for more, really!!

The bootlegger's fried chicken house, gravy, eggs, and toast was to die, for everything was cooked to perfection. The toast was toasted just right, not too much just enough and then we move on to dessert, the beignets with a caramel dipping sauce. It was a brunch gangsta's paradise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]5 1/2 stars it's the perfect time of year to go because it's very few people here there as in summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's usually a line out the door with a 30 minute wait

We were very happy to stumbled upon Jax White Mule! The food was yummy and the service was pleasant and friendly! The grits was the best we ever had, the consistency, the cheese is not overwhelming, and the shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The steak and eggs were excellent but over shadowed by the grits! LOL. The Irish coffee was the perfect beverage on this beautiful Napa morning!

Came in for brunch at about 11AM and was seated right away! The service was good and the food wait time was quick. I personally really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. I will say I chose to add sausage and it was a bit salty but nonetheless it was still a tasty dish. I wasn't a big fan of the beignets, they were over fried and the caramel on the side was too sweet for my liking.

Avocado toast without the egg and a side of tots

While walking around downtown Napa, I stopped here for lunch. I wanted something light so I had the Avocado toast without the egg and a side of tots. I need some sort of sauce but overall it was a nice meal. Liked the avocado and arugula salad on top. Loved the tots. Would have like a drink refill but was never asked if I wanted another one.

I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint. This recent one we went to dinner here for the first time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love it here! They were hosting a game night which made our Thursday night interesting. Love the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is good and drinks is always an A+ but it low key sucked that that night we visited they ran out of wings. But for brunch! 10/10 recommend the mimosas are always good and the beignets is a must try! Brunch menu is pretty solid comes with sweet and savory options.

Being a Moscow Mule fan I went in with high hopes. The stumbling blocks I met that resulted in the 3 stars was. The JAX Mule missed the mark and just didn't have the ginger beer and lime punch. Menu choices for dinner are minimal. Now if you are out for the bar seen and no food craving then I would give a four or five stars. The drink menu was plentiful and there were good draft choice. Though the German Pilsner I wanted was tapped out, darn. I ordered the flat stake and bowl of olives. I will say the stake is a worth it's price. You get a good portion and comes with lots of fingerling potatoes. The olives also hit the spot. Love olives and rare to find olives on a menu. It was also nice they had live music on my visit. The music was good. Now maybe I hit a bad night and willing to return perhaps on my revisit I can upgrade my review.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute place in a convenient area with loads of parking around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even if you have to walk there's a lot to see so its really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First timer here for a gals brunch and we were satisfied to say the least. We came on a busy Sunday morning and we're still seated right away, love! Portions were a little bit on the smaller side but they were really yummy so I can't really complain! I was bummed they only had tater tots as a potato option, I was looking forward to hash browns. Menu is lengthy so there's tons of great option. We opted for the bottomless mimosas $25 a person, not so much worth it because we had to keep asking for refills and I feel if you're paying for bottomless they should keep 'em coming. Our waitress was amazing despite that, don't let it scare you away! Overall I will still come back and enjoy their food and service.

Breakfast was mediocre. Got the avocado toast with hash browns. The sunny side up eggs were extremely undercooked, had to scrape off half of them. I cant believe something like that can get out of the kitchen. The avocado was bland, it needer at least 2 more days to ripen. Service was extremely poor as well, slow coming for our order, with water and coffee refills, and not even once were we asked it we need anything.

What a gem! Perfect spot for breakfast/brunch for a hangover (or not). Homemade biscuit is so flakey and airy & goes hand in hand with their country-style gravy and super juicy chicken fried chicken. Jax eggs Benedict with homemade English muffins and spicy hollandaise are killer! Don't forget their bottlerock homestyle potatoes and tots. Polish things off with their fluffy fresh beignets. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chill atmosphere that is laid back and far from pretentious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Johnny for making us feel at home and for guiding us through the menu so we got a little taste of everything. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beignets- good! Avocado toast- good! Experienced outdoor dining here when restrictions were lessening up. It felt like forever since we even ate out! We put our names on the list...promised 30 min for two people. They have a text system so you are notified when your table is ready. It was brunch time so I ordered the avocado toast. The fried egg on top was the perfect touch. I elected to have hashbrowns with it and I'm so glad I did- buttery goodness and melts in your mouth kind of good! Kid you not, nothing was left on my plate. I wish the serving was just a bit more. The beignets were the just right dessert sweetness we needed at the end of our meal (even though we got them at the beginning of our meal). Service was decent. We were checked on once, no issues. Servers wear masks and give great suggestions. Parking is a pain here though. We got lucky and found a spot at the parking lot across from here. Plan to walk if you can't find any near by. Overall I would come back here again and try something different. Nice to come to this side of napa on a nice day. Take some time to walk around and check out the area.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

I used cash and credit card everywhere accept here where I used my debit card with the male bartender. My friends used their cards with the female bartenders that arrived later and had no issues/fraudulent transactions. I don't know how it happened as I still had my ATM card, but as I headed home that evening I got a fraud alert showing 7 transactions just under 400 made at an online thrift store. They attempted an 8th purchase which was declined by my bank and the only reason I was notified. The place wasn't packed (Maybe 6 other ppl outside my group) and no one else was close enough to scan or get my card information from me other than the male bartender. My bank told me after investigating it was initiated from a Napa IP address and no, I don't live in Napa and of course i didn't make these purchases. I'm filling out a police report as well in hopes this won't happen to anyone else and to ensure that there are consequences for the person that did this. Just made a great day into a foul experience.
