Everything else was correct but the fries were a disappointment right out the gate. I seasoned them from my spice rack and popped them under the broiler to crisp up. This helped but if they come out of the fryer not crispy the broiler only does so much. Pickled veggies are good. I always love a pickled carrot. The slaw didn't have much flavor I could discern but I added one of the hot sauces on it and it was tasty. The star of the show, the chicken, was ok. I LOVE fried chicken and eat more of it than I probably should, lol. It was VERY crispy almost too crispy (maybe the chicken was cooked well done instead of my fries?). Since it was so crispy this made the chicken dry. Overall, slightly better than meh but not much. Maybe this isn't a meal that translates to go? If we try it again it'll be in person, even though we are literally only 6 miles away so it's not like it traveled far before we got down on it. Glad we tried it out finally but definitely feeling sad it didn't leave me happier for having checked them out. I'd be remiss if I didn't express how sad I am with how disappointing this meal was overall. Fried chicken usually brings me so much joy alas not today. Oh well I guess. With a name like that I'm expecting you to punch me in the face with that good earthy robust flavor. This tasted like normal slightly chalky fries. Visually it didn't look like it had anything sprinkled on it. The fries come with pineapple ketchup... or so they say. We definitely got gochujang sauce. Again... meh! I love fried chicken sandos, but it was just okay.

May 5, 2024 Thad an absolutely great experience at this KFC. My husband and I went thru the drive thru this afternoon and the young man taking our order was kind and gave us multiple receipts (including the last person receipt so i could get the drippy dog shirt on fetch). We ordered a double mash meal. He told us to pull further up in the drive thru. We did as asked. After 5 minutes he comes back and tells us that the extra crispy chicken we ordered in the meal wasn't ready and all they had was a wing and breast in extra crispy but that they had original ready to go. Or we could wait 16 minutes for the rest of the chicken to be made extra crispy. We responded that no we would just take the breast and wing in extra crispy and the rest in original. After waiting another 10 minutes our food finally arrives. By this point we were blocking like 2 cars because he had told us to pull up to the front of the drive thru instead of into the parking lot. Since he made the other customers wait, he became Mr. Beast and paid for their meal. When I went to say something about the wait he was smirking like it was funny I was so happy. To make matters better when we got home after a 5 minute drive the food was perfect temperature and the extra crispy breast was cooked to a perfect crisp. I wish I could say this was a one time experience but last time my husband went he was also given many receipts and the chicken was fried to par. I hate loving their spicy wings because when I'm craving them, I cannot just go and get my fix. I usually order 10 pcs hot wings and their response is " I don't have enough wings cooked do you still wanna order them? It will take 10 minutes and you have to pull up to the front " . I mean how could they be out every single time? Their employees are ok, they even try n give me a free soda each time, but it shouldn't be fast food if you gotta wait for 10 mins for your order!! We ordered a 2-piece combo with mac and cheese, a 2 piece combo with the cajun rice, a chicken sandwich, and 6 piece buffalo wings. They make everything to order, so we wandered around the store for a while, which was kinda cool because much of it is an indian supermarket. It took a really long time. We were waiting for like 40 minutes or so I think, so this is not really fast food if you were wanting fast food. And then, we go to pay, and first, they insist that we had gotten a 4 piece chicken and the sides separately, which costs more than if you get the combo. Both the cook and the cashier look at us like we have three heads when my husband insists we got the combo. And then, they gave us 12 wings instead of 6 and insist we ordered the 12. My hubs (who is a lawyer, so he's not afraid to argue), tells them to take 6 out because that's not what we ordered. And they just stare at us shaking their heads no, insisting we ordered 12. And the cook and cashier just stand there, waiting for us to pay. And they wouldn't budge at all. At this point, we just pay it, we're so hungry, we take it and go home. The food was fine. It wasn't incredible, and it wasn't terrible. It's hard to enjoy it when they scam you like that. I don't understand people -- why would you do that to your customers? We live in the neighborhood, and if we had a good experience, we would have come back. I like cooking indian food sometimes, and so I would had also come back to the store, but now I never want to set foot in there again. So yeah... that's my story. And so never again!
