I was at the T-Mobile store next door and I was hungry too. It's been years since I ate and I knew they had inexpensive meal deals starting at 7 bucks. I ordered the Chicken snacker, chicken nuggets, fries, and a soda plus for an extra 4 bucks a side of corn. The meal deal was pretty good for the price. I'm reviewing my recent visit to KFC solely for one reason...they finally brought back the hot wings and potato wedges! It was honestly a travesty that KFC even got rid of the hot wings and potato wedges back in 2020. The potato wedges were my favorite non-chicken item on the menu! My only thing was wishing there was more crispy bits or at least crisp to the nuggets just like how crispy the regular chicken pieces were. BY FAR THE NICEST KFC I'VE EVER BEEN TO. Wonderful, friendly staff although the man I presume is the owner could put a nice smile on his face. He's kind but the smile would mean even more. I do not blame the staff but I do blame the person who manages this location for not having adequate staff to run this location. How is it that you only have two employees during the lunch time rush hours? On Saturday 30 November 2024, my wife and I stopped by KFC on Talberts and Beach (close by WalMart) for lunch. We ordered a 4 pc combo meal an selected wings and thighs. There were only three ladies working... so the service was so slow. While waiting for the food to be cooked, we saw one of the workers picked up a piece of uncooked chicken the she careless dropped on the ground, put it back on the big tray and put the whole tray in the oven. Her action was so fast so we did not have time to pull out the cell telephone for a photo. Our foods taste so bad and cold... we did not want to create any comotion... so we threw away more than half of the meal to the trash... but unfortunately... few hours later on the same day I had a very bad diarrhea... and my wife got a bad stomach ache... We came at 8 PM on a Friday, and there were a few other parties also there. It was ~4 minutes before we put in an order, and then another 5 before we got our food. Which was a 3-tender basket with the Hot Honey Chicken, a side of Cole Slaw, and a biscuit. Of course the biscuit was delicious, it smelled like butter and tasted like it too, fluffy and warm, just great. The Hot Honey Chicken was fried chicken with a sauce that was part mild hot sauce and part sweet (I would not describe it as honey sweet), slight twang, slight sweetness, with the spiciness being the dominant flavor. The cashier Christine was like a mannequin cause when you asked her questions she will just look at you at least the mannequin has a smiley face but she has a frowning face. If you don't like this kind of job just stay at home. This branch is really close to my parents house so I frequent this place. Honestly, I am not a big fan of KFC chicken but my mom likes it a lot. Not to mention that we get a lot of KFC coupons in the mail so I guess it is very convenient for many reasons. Their service is just OK. It really depends on the day you go because some are very attentive and kind but the others are not responsive and just quiet? Anyway, their hot wings are not good at all. Very disappointed in the service i got today at the So. Pasadena KFC. I had a coupon for a meal and it says 3 large sides, so I think I can choose any side. Low and behold I am told that I can only have the ones on the picture. When I pointed out that it DID NOT state that on the coupon, he said it shows it in the picture.
