I highly recommend this company! I messaged Kh Appliance recently asking if they repaired Miele' dishwashers as many other company's don't. In my initial email, I described the situation of the intake/drain light being on and that after a thorough attempted remedy myself, that I needed an expert. I soon got a response stating that yes, he did repair Miele brand dishwashers. An appointment was set and Mike showed up on time, put on booties before entering the home and quickly identified the problem as a defective water pump. Mike provided me with options on how to fix it, including a price reduction if I wanted to "prep" the dishwasher for servicing (pulling it out, emptying the water from the line, etc). After agreeing that he would perform the entire job, he ordered the part and we made a follow-up appointment to finish the job. Again, Mike arrived on time and proceeded to replace the defective water pump in short order, talking me through the project as to what he was doing, how the dishwasher worked and preventive measures on how to keep it in proper working condition. Upon being finished, he made sure that I inspected his work and that I verify there were no water leaks. He also took pictures of the dishwasher during this process, which later showed up in his detailed electronic invoice to memorialize the job. I have to say that I was impressed with the caliber of his work ethics, knowledge of appliances and the more than fair price for the repair. Our fridge decided to be on strike over the weekend. Mike answered through late Sunday afternoon and he showed up the next day early morning because he understood the urgency of the business nature. I am very impressed of his honesty, his recommendation and he only charges when it is needed. So I had a problem with my dishwasher as it wasn't draining the water at the end of the cycle. So I called KH appliance and Mike came out and was there for literally 10 mins charged me $105 and told me that we needed to replace the pump. He didn't diagnose anything at all. He did not pull out the dishwasher to try to troubleshoot the issue. Maybe it could have of been a clog in the pipe or something else I didn't know at the time. So he was going to charge me over $300 to replace the pump. So I watched some videos on YouTube And I decided to pull out the dishwasher and take a look myself and found that an object was stuck inside the pump. I pulled it out and guess what it started to working! . If he charges a trip charge he should do some basic troubleshooting rather than quoting me $300 to replace the pump when the pump was just fine!!! I won't be using him again. One thing that is good about Mike that he is very responsive but just his troubleshooting is not too great. He could of fixed the issue while he was on site rather than taking a few days to quote me on a new pump. read more

Well Mike came on time and he found the problem right away which was the igniter in my oven was burnt out thus the oven would not work and he said that the broiler one was starting to go out. He fixed both but then I also told him that my refrig was acting up and he told me what to do for free. He is very thorough and really nice. Our 20 year old top loading Whirlpool was making bad noises and only trickling water as it filled , the hot water essentially not working at all. All these 5 star reviews are spot on. I called and left a message and Mike responded within a few minutes and we had an appointment set for a few days later. We rent, and have a VERY old gas oven that was not lighting. It's so old, that the knob broke off last year, and we scoured the internet looking for a replacement but they don't even make them anymore. The rent is cheap, so we try to fly under the radar to keep it that way. Mike and a young assistant showed up right on time. While Mike fixed the ignighter in the oven, he had his guy online looking for a knob replacement for us too. Within a half an hour, our oven was fixed and we had a brand new knob to turn on the oven. We have an LG front load washer whose drum would either not spin at all, or make a nasty grinding sound when it did. Mike came out for a $70 service call fee and diagnosed either a broken RPM sensor (due to it not spinning) or a damaged/broken drive motor (due to the grinding noise). He said the sensor would be a relatively cheap part ($32) that he could try first. If that didn't work he'd take it out and not charge for it, then install the 2 parts for the drive motor ($108 and $178 for those two). Thankfully the cheaper sensor by itself resolved the problem so the expensive parts weren't needed, and the machine is working like new again. I'm glad Mike was up front about the 2 repair options and tried the cheaper option first rather than just install everything to guarantee it would work the first time (and then charge me for it all.) Refreshing to have someone with honesty and integrity I can rely on. Highly recommended. read more

Review is overdue. My GE Monogram fridge was malfunction after I came back having spent several months away. Stuff in the fridge all rotted and stinky. After cleaning it I made a call to Mike having read the good reviews posted in Yelp. Mike was able to respond within a day and due to his prior commitment was able to come 2 weeks later, which was fine. 2 weeks later he came and his first guess was the electronic box is damage and will require a replacement. After completing several test he confirmed the damaged part. He was able to get a spare within 1 day and was back couple days later. Mike is very knowledgeable and explained the reason why the part failed was due to the excess dust built up in the compartment and condensing coils. He also explained that is something I should do as routine maintenance every 6 months. Although the price was not really cheap I felt his service, patience, knowledge is all worth the service. Had I chosen to go back to GE I may have been charged much higher and taken longer time. Overall I am very pleased with Mike and he is highly recommended for any appliance troubleshoot and repair. The ice maker in my fridge stopped working, and it was unbearable to not have ice over the summer. After doing some research on Yelp, and sending out several estimate requests, Mike got back to me very quickly with a reasonable estimate. We communicated via email, and I found him to be very responsive. Mike arrived on time, and attempted to repair my existing unit. When that failed, he ordered a new part, and came back the following week to install it. He did not charge me two service fees, and applied the original charges to the second visit, so all I had to pay for was the part. He also has a very professional electronic email receipt system, which makes record keeping very easy. Mike provided me with advice on how to keep my fridge operating properly.
