First of all we were so happy to see a Mongolian place not in a mall. We tried this out cuz we're were really hungry. First of all the selection is vast. You star with two bowls and fill one with meat and one with veggies. They have serving tongues for each meat type so if you have allergies and mess it up it's on you. My only feedback was to be to label what each veggie is in case people don't know but we should be able to know what works for us and what doesn't if you are adults! And if you're a child well hope your parent knows how to manage your allergies. Any review claiming allergy issue is clearly someone who wants to blame someone else for their own fault in triggering their allergy. Anyways back to the food. I got the beef, pork and various veggies with mild. It was so tasty. The best noodles I have had at a place like this in a while. And their mild was great in spicy. If you can handle a whole bag of hot Cheetos without drinking water mild is for you! Don't go higher. For both of our plates we paid around $37. The service was amazing. The cashier was so nice and helped us learn about the place and how to order. If you eat there enjoy it outside, since the inside gets a little hot from the stove. Overall I'm excited to know if a close by Mongolian place in Long Beach.

Monday 06.29.2026 @khansmongolianbbq 3547 Atlantic Ave. Long Beach, CA 90807 This spot has been open for a good minute, so I thought it was about that time to try it out. First look, walking in, they must be doing something right because there was a line. It's a small spot, so if you're planning to eat there, space is limited indoor and out. Don't be a rookie like me, and assume to just get 1 bowl for everything. There's literally a sign that says to separate noodles from your ingredients I like that the choices weren't overwhelming, and the wait for them to prep wasn't long. House special sauce, garlic and spicy on the side. It weighed in at almost 2.5 lbs. Lol! Brought it home to share with the fam, and it was still nice and hot. We all enjoyed the good flavor! Might need to get my own bowl next time, so I can add jalapeño and spicy sauce cooked in #khansmongolianbbq #mongolianbbq #dinnertime #noodles #longbeacheats

Grand Opening of Khan's Mangolian is a great addition to Bixby Knolls community! I love Mongolian BBQ. But I really haven't found one with rich, delicious flavors as since back in the days in the early 2000s. I was excited to try Khan's as $6.50 a lb is a great price. Unfortunately there is not enough flavor. In honesty, very bland even though I asked them to add a lot of garlic to it. Its the bbq/house sauce they add to it is not enough tastes and flavoring. Other than that, there are no flavors to the food as they are raw veggies, and frozen meats are not marinated, so I'm not understanding the other Yelper said they don't need the sauce. I'm sure if they tweak the ingredients by adding some oyster sauce or other seasoning, it would be more flavorful. Veggies are very fresh. Beef is ok quality, but kind of tough. The noodles were not my favorite type because it gets really soggy if you have leftover for later or the next day. Even at $6.50 lb, I don't know how I got $19 plate, lol. It took me 3 meals to finish it though. Plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Great Mongolian BBQ spot! They had a wonderful selection of toppings and everything tasted fresh. Customer service was great, pricing was reasonable, and parking was easy which is always a plus in Long Beach. The ambiance was wonderful and overall just a really good experience. The only thing I would personally skip next time are the extra sauces they put on the grill because the food already has plenty of seasoning and flavor on its own, so it was a little too much for me. I can't wait to return and I really hope this place stays around!

This was from one bowl! The further container was after I ate... I didn't even make a dent. But great for leftovers!

My family and I visited for the first time today, and we will DEFINITELY be back!! The guys had a great playlist going and they were very helpful & friendly! This may be THE best Mongolian we've had as well! The food was so flavorful and we didn't put a dent in our plates. HOWEVER!! WARNING!! They charge by the pound, so don't go when you're starving because you WILL rack up a bill! Haha. Other than that, great first impression and we definitely know not to stack those big bowls next time. One packed bowl will result in TWO to-go containers.

Another great addition to the Cal Heights neighborhood! In their soft opening this weekend. We've been waiting for this to open, since my wife and I both live mongolian bbq. Great ingredients and sauces, and good value for the price. It's easy to go crazy though. I accidentally got too much, but that's ok because now I've got leftovers. It is around the corner from our house, so I'm sure it'll become part of our regular rotation.

Went to my usual Asian restaurant Asian Chef and saw they were closed ( like permanently closed ). This is located two doors down. It's a walk in - to go only, Mongolian bbq place that charges by the pound. One bowl meat, one bowl veggies and noodles. At the beginning they have the option of chicken, beef, and pork. All separate tongs which is great. Then you choose your veggies. There is no labels on the veggies and I would personally change that. But for those who love seafood like me, at the END of the veggie line there is imitation crab meat. Would be helpful to have placed that at the front so I would know there is another more desirable meat option for myself. They sauce it for you and you choose which sauces you prefer. The staff was helpful and the food definitely stayed HOT until I got to my destination 20 minutes away. The noodles are also on the larger side. My total was 23 dollars and that was with a large drink. I would definitely recommend and there will be more than enough left over. The cooking time is pretty fast and thankfully I went without a line so I didn't wait at all.

Can't go wrong with good Mongolian BBQ and great customer service with a vibe. I'll definitely be back.

Wakkkkkkkk! No flavor the beef is mostly fat the veggies are good quality but the protein and cheap noodle have zero flavor it also came out so hot I couldn't eat it for like 10 minutes. They need sauce options because them asking if you want it spicy or nah isn't enough. Save yourself $25 plus a 20 %? "Tip" selection and go to all you can eat Mongolian in Cerritos for 19.99

This tasted better than a lot of other Mongolian spots, the flavor has a lot of umami. The service was fast and the parking was plentiful. They use beef belly for their beef option which makes the flavors really come together. You pay by weight, so my plate was about $16 but i saw other people pay $25 as they stacked their bowls to the top. Super convenient compared to walking into a mall location.

UPDATE: damn. The food is inconsistent…read more.. Got an order on a Monday night and maybe it was off but the chicken wings were funky-- not lightly fried with the taste of sauce as they had done before. the pulled pork was dry as a bone and the paper thin pieces of tri-tip were like paper. Smoked paper. The baked beans were kind of meh I do like the cornbread and coleslaw but after this I'm gonna keep looking. One BIG issue is the prices are also inconsistent, cheaper in the online app, higher in the store cash register system and even higher on the printed menu. They need to fix that because I don't like arguing over prices with the counter help... But I will. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS MUCH BETTER Love this place, it's low-key and local and has killer barbecue, tasty sides and more. Staff is super nice and friendly, I just call in my order and it's ready in minutes. So far I've only gotten the wings and SMOKED CHICKEN YUMMM plus sides like mac & cheese, coleslaw and greens are delicious. And I love their cornbread, it's generous and freezes well so you can have it later in the week for breakfast! If you have any leftovers!

I ordered two 2-meat meals with…read morebrisket and tri-tip plus sides, one 1-meat lunch with brisket and potato salad, and a kids meal brisket slider. Unfortunately, once I got home, I realized the order wasn't correct. I received 3 mac & cheeses and 3 baked beans, but NO potato salad, which I specifically ordered with the 1-meat meal. My biggest disappointment was the kids brisket slider. It does NOT appear or taste like brisket at all--it seems to be a regular hamburger patty. I even specifically asked the young lady at the register if the slider was brisket , and she confirmed that it was. If this is actually a hamburger being sold as a brisket slider, that's very misleading and disappointing. I would like that portion of my order corrected or refunded. That said, there were definitely some positives. The baked beans were loaded with meat and had great flavor. I haven't tried the mac & cheese yet, but the brisket was VERY tender, and the spicy BBQ sauce was delicious! The food I actually received and tried was good, but for an order this large, getting the correct sides and the correct meat--especially after specifically confirming what I was ordering--matters. Hopefully the restaurant can address the issue with the kids meal and improve order accuracy.

Onion rings with the housemade ranch is fire too on the side. Had heard some good things about this spot so decided to stop by with the fam for a random dinner. It's a smaller hole-in-the-wall spot but with lots of open space so it doesn't feel too cramped. Parking isn't necessarily the easiest, but I didn't have to wait, just know most of the street parking is paid M-F between 10am-7pm. (1st 15 minutes is free though). This spot was the perfect blend of order/pay first for bomb food. Service was fast even though it was just one person manning both the cashier and service. Jackie was so great and had a great smile and was so nice to even my kids which was a big plus. I loved the food and it's not like typical "Texas BBQ" which I actually liked. The meat didn't feel overly saturated in fat or greasy but was still so tender. Maybe it's because I'm Asian, but "real" Texas BBQ joints or American BBQ spots tend to feel too heavy for me and I don't feel good after eating. This place wasn't different. The brisket could easily be cut with just a fork and that's solid for me. The gochujang pork belly was better than most KBBQ spots I've tried. and dare I say, I think they had the best tasting fries I've had... like it's hard to explain, but the slightest lemon pepper seasoning with the perfect crisp on outside to potato inside was just so on-point. I had to fight my kids over the last couple fries. Make sure to get the spicy and secret BBQ sauces they have in the center along with purple slaw and jalapeño sides. It complements the meat so nicely. Price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. All in all, everything is so well seasoned without feeling overly salty with great balance across their dishes. I'll definitely be back.

Smoky, sticky, caramelized to perfection, and layered with a depth of flavor that makes you stop mid-bite and reconsider every life decision that almost led you somewhere else for dinner. The sesame and green onion finish on top? Immaculate. Whoever developed this recipe deserves an award, a vacation, and a sincere apology for how hard I went at that plate. The brisket held its own admirably alongside what was essentially a showstopper. Rich, tender, and genuinely great -- Texas comparisons aside, this brisket doesn't need the validation. It stands on its own. The fries are not an afterthought here either -- crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside, exactly what a good fry should be. The potato salad with that drizzle of sauce on top rounds the whole spread out beautifully. RibBro is the kind of spot Long Beach needed and absolutely deserves. Go immediately.

After waiting over an hour, we still only received about half of our order. About 40 minutes into the wait, I was told they were out of chicken, which meant I never received the chicken and waffles I ordered. I also never received my baked beans. I understand that restaurants can run out of items, but I wish we had been told much sooner instead of waiting that long. What makes this even more disappointing is the amount of money we spent, and as you can see from our receipt, we tipped very well. We came in wanting to support the business and have a good experience. Unfortunately, between the long wait, missing food, and the quality of what we did receive, I honestly don't feel the experience was worth the money. We were also visiting from out of town and specifically chose this place, so it was disappointing to spend such a large part of our visit waiting for food we ultimately didn't receive. I really feel that some type of refund or compensation should have been offered, especially for the items we paid for but never received. I do want to be fair and mention that they gave us complimentary water and banana pudding, which we appreciated. However, it didn't make up for waiting over an hour and not receiving our complete order. Would I come back? Maybe, but only once things are more organized and structured.
