A true staple of the sloan community serving up hot food and cold drinks at the bar. With fast and friendly service I received my billy club.It was a turkey club that came with chips and was very tasty. They have a huge lot with plenty of free parking, so come out and enjoy a cold one.

If you grew up in sloan you most definitely hung out here, with great food and drinks at a nice size bar. With speedy service and a smile I received my Billy club. Its a double stacked turkey club on rye bread, it's massive and delicious. Plenty of parking in their lot.

As a Polish pierogi maker who uses my family recipe, I'm very critical of what makes a good…read morepierogi. However I'd say that It's Pierogi Time does a good job overall. While these don't have all of the characteristics you'd expect from a traditional Polish pierogi, they're still very good considering they're made by Ukrainians who were self-taught from the internet. I ordered 4 fried sweet farmer cheese pierogies ($8.99) and 4 fried spicy Buffalo pork butt pierogies ($8.99). They were small and although golden brown, still very soft for being fried. While Daisy sour cream was included, fried onions were not (although available as an add-on to purchase). The dough flavor and consistency was very good! And I commend their creativity with the fillings, including some traditional and non-traditional fillings. I was surprised that the farmers cheese was sweetened (I didn't see that they were sweet when I ordered them), so it was moreso a dessert pierogi instead of a traditional (savory) farmers cheese pierogi. They were still delicious though! The Spicy Buffalo pork butt was also great, and covered in hot sauce. This is a takeout restaurant, but they have four picnic tables outside (in the sun, without umbrellas). They have two windows for ordering: a self-serve kiosk on the left, and an ordering window with a real person on the right. However the menus are digital so with the bright sun, it was difficult to read. They really could improve the ordering experience by having paper menus available. Overall I'd recommend you stop by and support this new business. Although they're not the homemade Pierogies some Polish Buffalonians may expect, they have enough similarities to still be enjoyed by the harshest pierogi critics like me, as well as any normal person who would find them delicious as-is!

Now, we have a couple great little spots like this popping up to really give us some choices. I have always loved pierogi since I was a kid so this place being a 3 minute walk from my house is amazing and also probably dangerous for my wallet. We went over on their first days of opening up and got some food. Everything is to go here unless you decide you can't wait and eat in your car. We got the pork butt, farmer's cheese, and the mushroom potato pierogi. They were all fantastic. They came with sour cream and some little packets of jam in case you wanted to add them on top. The dough was light and they all had a very good filling. You can almost tell that they are fresh and homemade and not mass produced. The service was great. Quick, friendly, and they definitely know what they are doing here. We will be back again soon.

In several instances, food was being brought out for only some people at a time for a few tables. Then by the time mine comes (and I'm starving btw), it's almost completely different than what was described on the menu, and even worse, the waitress didn't realize?! I ordered the Sto lat omelette because I'm Polish and love the flavor combinations of farmers cheese, sour cream and dill. Here's how the menu described it: "smoked kielbasa, bacon, farmers cheese, tomato, caramelized onion, mushroom sauce, sour cream, dill" What I actually got was an omelette with cheddar instead of farmers cheese, and no sour cream or dill. The added home fries and ketchup were a nice surprise though. When I made the waitress aware that this seems to be a different omelette than described on the menu, she said "there's only one omelette on the menu". I pointed out the swapped cheese and missing ingredients, and she asked if I wanted the kitchen to remake it, or just bring me the missing items. I said I'd be fine with being brought the missing items. So they brought me out a dill sauce (?), and sour cream (no farmers cheese). Then charged us full price, no apology. While I enjoyed the different omelette they brought, I was disappointed to miss out on the Polish flavors I was looking forward to. While the atmosphere is cool and maybe a drink at the bar would be fine, I absolutely will never come back for food.

We were told our reservation did not show that. They found us a table out of range seeing the band. A couple sitting near us had the same problem. They were told by the owner that the information doesn't carry over to them. So why ask? I knew it was clam night with a limited menu but wasn't aware that none of the regular Polish food wouldn't be available, only 3 Flatbread and a chip flight. I ordered steamed clams & my husband ordered raw. We also ordered a shrimp Alfredo Flatbread. My clams had a few that were gritty, his were ok. The Flatbread was really good. We would have ordered a 2nd but they actually ran out. It was barely 7:00. I had to flag someone down to get more water since it was never offered. The band was really good! Overall not a great evening. Did we just hit them on a bad night? I'll be back when they're offering their normal menu to see how it goes. 2025-52

Friendly service with tasty food at a decent price!…read more Babcia's has a cute little "hut" at the Broadway Market. They make mostly "unconventional" Polish food, but it's darn tasty. They offer a variety of pierogies ranging from traditional kraut and farmer's cheese to twice baked potato and apple pie. Amongst my group, we ordered two Polish tacos, two bombers (without buns), the Buffalo pierogi trio (stuffed banana pepper, buffalo wing and beef on weck), golumbki, a side of kapusta and a water for just under $60. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The Polish taco, which was chopped up kielbasa with sauerkraut, kapusta, horseradish sauce and Weber's mustard on naan bread was super filling, so filling that I had leftovers. Everything was hot and fresh and there was not a long wait to receive our food after ordering.

Sausage had a bit of a kick to it, but wasn't hot. there are plenty of opportunities to have traditional pierogi; i'm glad i wasn't bound by tradition.
