Love this place. Inside looks cool but I've always ordered take out. Appetizers are great. A little on the pricey side.

So this was my second time trying Killa Pie. My greedy ass didn't take pics either time. My bad! Anyhoo, let me start by telling you I am NOT a deep dish or Chicago style pizza fan. I like a thin or hand tossed crust. Think St. Louis style (Imo's Pizza) or NY style. Killa Pie is Detroit style in terms of crust but the sauce is on top. Thankfully, they have an original style and a "slender" which made me interested. On my first visit, I had the BBQ chicken and the second I had the Hellfire. Damn. Good pizza! The crust is everything!!! Buttery and crispy but not too thick if you order the slender crust. Toppings are fresh and plentiful and the sauce is magnificent. Definitely fresh, seasoned with a hint of sweetness. The staff is great. Very pleasant and great at answering my questions. Maybe my new favorite pizza spot! Oh and the same folks own Mash'd on Preston in Frisco. They offer the same pizzas. read more

Tried Killa Pie for the first time. Ordered online for pickup. Order was fast and ready when I arrived. Pizza was hot. Reheating instructions attached. The pizza was excellent. You can tell a difference with the ingredients they use. The sauce was outstanding. Not your typical local pizza but if you are looking for a deep dish pizza I recommend. They also have other pizzas. OMG I love this place . Everything was delicious. Vlad are waiter was amazing. It is so nice to go out and finally get real customer service .We split the appetizer Imposters. We all had salads . Hail Caesar ,Texas Antipasto and I loved mine the Palette Pleaser. 3 pizzas(they have 2 types of crust) Slender Elemental, Slender Elote , and I had the Original Submarine. We shared the one dessert they have the Killa Pie which is a butterscotch pie. Very good . People of Prosper... you are lucky... this pizza is the real deal. Killa Pie is true Detroit pizza- any Detroit type pizza is going to be measured by the OG-- Buddy's Pizza, many have tried and failed. Jet's... meh... Pizza Hut... please... Little Caesars... laughable. As a native Detroiter Kill Pie has nailed it, this is delicious pizza and stands on its own as very very good pizza. Came here on a Saturday night for carry out, online ordering was very fast and easy with Apple Pay -- the place was packed, great sign- word is spreading, great inside dining area to bring the family or watch a game and grab a drink. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, with mushrooms, and black olives. Pizza was hot and ready when picked up, I had to dive in immediately- the crust is perfection with the caramelized crunch, pepperoni delicious and curled as it should-- Wisconsin brick cheese added to the robust flavor. Congrats to the owners- you nailed it. Dare I say this is even better than Buddy's. Be prepared to pay- 25+ a pie, but this is an art and really well worth it. Happy to see the place packed and people loving the food, people know a good thing when they taste it. Wow this place has some delicious pizza. It's quite possibly some of the best pizza in the entire DFW area. The crust is so full of flavor and the sauce is robust and tastes like the best tomato you ever had. The toppings are all fresh and you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. Who ever designed this menu put a lot of thought into how well the toppings pair with the sauce and the crust. I honestly wish I could afford to eat here every day. read more

Love this place. Was looking for good pizza in the area and instead found AMAZING pizza. The staff is always there to open the door and welcome you with a greeting and immediately sat. I'm sure there's a wait at times for a table but I've yet to experience that. Typically go with the Pioneer which is your "traditional" pepperoni but to experience this place for what it is, you have go with the thick crust - there's no other way. Have yet to try some of the other pizzas/toppings but imagine they're right up there with the Pioneer. Found a gem here and great go-to spot! read more

Tried this out with another couple for a casual dinner. We had 4 pies 2 appetizers and 7 drinks. Staff and service were attentive The drinks took a very long time to arrive and were small The pies came out one at a time over 10 minutes. The server sold us on extra guacamole being melted in but it was sliced and tossed on top. Bill was $190 with tip. We were shocked. The flavors were good the place was busy. Ok atmosphere. Probably one of top Detroit pizzas. Sat outside and it was nice but there is a splash pad right outside of the patio so if you don't like kids running about while you are eating them probably sit inside, it was noisy in there but it's to be expected lol drinks were decent, they have a limited cocktail menu but a full bar so you can get whatever you want. read more

Just went for the first time last week. Got a carry out pizza. Thick crust that was burned in some places but not cooked completely in other places. There was plenty of cheese but the two toppings were so scarce, some pieces didn't have one of the two. We have been here several times in the past couple of weeks and have not been disappointed yet! This is not your usual pizza. The crust is really thick, crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. One of the things I really like about this place is that the pizza is not dripping in cheese and oil. The toppings are not overwhelming either. Just enough that you get some in each bite. Very high quality pizza and attentive and pleasant staff. Very impressed. My only criticism is that, due to its relatively small size, I was very surprised at the dining layout. There is a bar at the back, which isn't an appealing place to sit if you're with anyone, then a long stretch of pub height table with half of it using hard metal chairs, not conducive for sitting and eating pizza for a while. Pizza & Service we're excellent! I had the Produce & my wife had the Pioneer, both exceeded our expectations. This was our first time having Detroit style pizza and I have to say we will be back soon. Sauce, cheese, and the buttery crust made a wonderful combination. Only knock was the dessert, we had the buttermilk pie wasn't a fan. Atmosphere was a great touch music ranged from Motown to Bob Segar, great touch of playing only Michigan artist. The food, atmosphere, and the service are just some of the amazing things I have yo say about Killa Pies. The smaller size is 4 squares, enough for a regularly hungry person. The large is 12 squares for roughly double the price, the value lies in how hungry you really are. We had the Motown Seoul and a Pig Wild. The sauce is to die for! It may be a bit tricky to get to but it is definitely worth the struggle! read more
