We ate at a table in the bar area. Service was excellent. We split a combo of brisket, turkey and a rib. Portions were generous. Beer selection was good but needed to be slightly colder. My first experience with Killen's was at Minute Maid park. I had their brisket nachos which were amazing! I decided to cross my fingers and hope the same item was in this location. I was pleasantly surprised it was! I ordered them and visually they looked amazing, however, the chips were stale. I chose to double the Brisket portion and requested the moist part of the meat. Meat was very good. Falls apart and has great flavor. Mac and cheese was not awesome but was okay. I placed an order online to pickup. When I got there I tried to go inside to get my food. They told me that I had to go through the drive-thru line to get it. So I got back in the car and went around back. There were three cars ahead of me in line. I waited 25 minutes in line to get my food. When we mentioned that they should have a better system for picking up online orders, the guy said we could have gone in to pick it up. We told him we tried that first and were told we couldn't. The best meats are the brisket and pulled pork, and the ribs, although seasoned well, are not always as tender as they should be. But flavor was above average. Maybe bad cut since everybody said it was good on here Ribs - 7/10 Good flavor and texture. Some parts was melt in your mouth and some had some bite to it. Overall decent rib Cream corn - 2/10 Texture was gritty and weird aftertaste. Do not recommend Cheese rice n broccoli - 8/10 Flavor was good and texture was good. But I think there were mushrooms in there this the minus in scoring Overall not an enjoyable experience won't be back. Wanted to try some dessert but for the price here portions are small.
