Just stopped by for a quick massage. Prices are jacked up everywhere in Chinatown. $35 seemed reasonable for an hour foot rub. Coco was my masseuse and she worked really hard and my foot finally feels much better. I can't believe it's been over 2 years since my last massage but this didn't disappoint. Plus they have a points system and 350 points is a free 1 hour foot massage. $1 = 1 point.

Coming here was one of the best spontaneous decisions I've made in a while. Can't say enough about this magical place. I came in to get a quick 30 minute foot massage and now I wish it was an hour. The massage ended with a hot stone rub down - great way to send my feet into a blissful state. Jack took good care of my feet, toes and calves - the areas most affected from long walks in the city. I come here once a month with my buddies. It is always a great experience and the employees are super nice! The price is very reasonable, we always get the 30 min foot rub and 30 min back rub to get our guys day started. The location is cozy and clean, a nice vreak from the hustle and bustle of nyc. I've been coming to Kimberly Spa for the past few years so this review is long over due. Every time I've come I'm greeted with a smile and rarely have to wait. Today Jack took great care of me. I normally get the 60 minute foot massage and feel rejuvenated after every appointment. I highly recommend checking this place out. It's a calm and clean atmosphere. Pretty good. It's a legit spa and they do facials as well. The massage was ok, it could have been better with a quieter massage table. The place is a bit old as it's been around for a while and the table I was on squeaked loudly while the massage was going on. Even the earplugs didn't do much to drown out the loud squeaking. The masseuse was proficient enough and did ask if there was enough pressure or if it was too hard.

We stopped at this place after a day of wandering Chinatown when it was sort of drizzly and my feet were barking for some attention. So it's very crammed in there. Like they have seven I think maybe even 8 foot massage chairs next to each other just jammed in so there is no privacy whatsoever. They did think to have phone wires to charge your phone in the chairs which is a super nice touch. They have some table massage rooms in the back and a couple of my kids used them. One of the boys thought that the masseuse was pretty rough, I thought that was funny because it was a female. The masseuse certainly know how to dig into the muscles. They did a great job with the foot rub and if I ask them to do a hand massage after my foot massage was over they were happy to add that on. There was a lot of people in and out the door at all times and the door is right next to where you're sitting so it was really pretty chaotic in there with all the staff in and out and people sitting outside smoking when they were not doing massages and customers coming and going nonstop and the countertop where you pay right there next to you when you're trying to get your massage so if you don't bring some noise canceling headphones and an eye mask you're probably not gonna be able to fully relax however your feet will feel great. I will definitely come back.

This place is amazing! Jason took care of my foot and back massage and his hands are heaven sent! Came here on an absolute whim one Saturday morning and I can honestly say that, for the price and the no-frills atmosphere, this is an excellent spot. I got an hour-long foot massage for $30. The guy was so good I tipped a third of the price. He didn't speak any English but the ladies behind the counter did so she translated when I asked him for lighter pressure. You would think that a massage in only one area for an hour would mean repetitive motions but nope! He was so thorough about massaging different sections and it was really pleasant. The seats open right out to the street but I didn't mind one bit as I love city noise. I'm taking one star off because he definitely could have used a little bit more oil as it got dry on multiple occasions and was a little uncomfortable, and also because he uses rough paper towels to wipe you down at the beginning and at the end. That was a bit painful and annoying. Other than that, though, I highly recommend this place if you're in the Soho/China Town/and even Tribeca area and just need a little break from walking around. I'm very excited to have found this spot and can't wait to come back again soon. read more

The best Chinese reflexology I've ever had and get massage every week, 1hour $25. After foot rub I felt amazing. I had Tina for my body massage, she was incredibly attentive to knots that needed more work. I like the pressure she used, and the warm towel at the end was the perfect touch. This spa is amazing! Their spa is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They even have a reward points system for recurring customers and it's half off on your birthday! For some reason the person who I spoke to on the phone thinks a consultation will help. However, I already know from experience that once they inject it the only thing that works is letting it wear off and I have to have severe eye strain for 3 months. The injector was also very careless and I bruised like never before. She even just felt sloppy and inexperienced. I'll never go back again. Nothing like the feeling of waking up with eye strain when your eyes should be relaxed! And the shape of my eyes is so terrible and embarrassing.

This one called for a yelp review. Called around noon on Valentine's Day to schedule 2, 4pm, 1hr body bodywork massages. This was honored, me and my friend were excited because we also found on their site coupons for an extra 15 minutes of massage. Wins all round, 35/hr - how can we beat that? When I got there, the manager had us bartering for 30 minutes body and 30 minutes foot massage packages. This back and forth ensued over lounge chairs of dismayed people waiting for treatments and getting their feet rubbed. One tired girl sided, that it had happened to her too. We showed him the coupons, he then was like okay 45 minute body and 30 minute foot. At this point we wanted to leave, but he finally honored my friend with a 1 hr massage and me a 45 minute body, and would give me 15 minute foot. More couples were arriving with the same issue - scheduling for one thing and getting told they could offer you another service in real time. And mind you, the space was packed with arriving upset/confused people and blankly-staring patrons, who after being beat-down in negotiations, all in a carpeted living room set-up, where being submitted with peculiar foot dips. The mood was very "try your best not to look at another person's feet" & "act like you're relaxing". The commotion didn't stop in the bodywork rooms. There were only make-shift divider walls providing barely any privacy, so I could hear throughout my session people entering and receiving backhanded service, the manager arguing and masseuse's talking between rooms. When I was in the middle of changing before my session, the manager sprung open my curtain and shouted 45 minutes! I screamed back in naked horror, and demanded that I should at least get the complete hour after getting walked in on so rudely. The girl sided with me and gave me the full hour. Tried my best to concentrate on faint traditional Chinese music. At least the massage was on point! Got hot stones, and very good attention onto my whole back. I then got funneled into the main room again where I received a 15 minute foot massage, while the manager confronted unknowing couples. I couldn't stop laughing. Couples we came in with were being shuttled out. My friend came out and apparently during her's the manager walked in mid-massage with her complete body hanging out and she had to barter for more time with him in this compromised form. One couple was curious why they had received 5 stars on yelp - and we started to notice large signs everywhere that said if you wrote them a positive comment on yelp that you'd receive 15 extra free minutes for a variety of services. I recently visited Kimberly Spa, a place I've frequented for five years, but my recent experiences there have left much to be desired, pushing me to reconsider my patronage. During my last appointment, I opted for an hour-long massage and a cupping session, which was priced at $55 for the massage and an additional $20 for cupping. Unfortunately, the visit was marred by several unsettling incidents that have become a pattern at this establishment. The masseuse, Cici, exhibited highly unprofessional behavior right from the start by pressuring me into elective services without clear communication about their costs. This lack of transparency was followed by her disengagement during the session; she spent considerable time texting, with her phone audibly vibrating beside my ear, which was incredibly distracting and detracted from the relaxing atmosphere you expect in such settings. Moreover, the service itself was below par. Cici's attempt at cleaning my ears involved merely tickling them with a feather and blowing compressed air, which felt odd and unnecessary. More disturbingly, there were several instances where her touch uncomfortably grazed my private areas, adding to an overall feeling of discomfort rather than relaxation. The cupping session was equally disappointing. It was hastily done, focusing only on the back and completely neglecting the front of my body, contrary to previous experiences which were more thorough. The treatment room itself was in a deplorable state, strewn with the masseuse's used socks and other signs of poor hygiene that one simply cannot overlook. Upon concluding the session, the financial aspects were just as frustrating. I was unexpectedly upcharged by $45 and coerced into tipping beyond what I felt was reasonable, amidst the audible snickers of other staff members. This pressure to tip, regardless of the service quality, has been consistent over my last few visits. Previously, I overlooked certain mishaps like an unfortunate incident where a masseuse farted near my face during a session, hoping these were isolated cases. However, these recurring issues highlight a stark decline in the quality and professionalism at Kimberly Spa. It seems the spa has become desperate, losing the essence of customer care and service. Given these experiences, I cannot justify returning to Kimberly Spa. For those looking for a serene and respectful spa experience, it appears there are numerous other venues that would better respect their clientele and maintain higher standards of service and cleanliness. read more

I often walk around china town looking for a place to get a massage, never really knowing where I'll end up. I like to try all different places. Tonight I found myself in front of Kimberly spa $40/1 hr body work and $30/1hr foot work, not bad I thought, I gave it a go! As I walked in I notice the set up, Simple and efficient. They have 8 chairs at the front for foot massages and about 6-7 rooms in the back for body work. I asked for 1 hour body massage as I was shown to a simple room with 1 bed and enough space to walk around the bed. I asked for a female and for strong hands as I work out a lot and really need to have someone get in there. I was given Helene. A very nice lady with good and strong hands. It was a lovely massage. She really got in there and found the sore spots to fix them. It started with a light towel on the back massage and after about 10-15 minutes she started in with the oil and it felt so nice! She checked on me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was okay. Loved it! At the end she used hot stones and when I flipped over onto my back I was given a lovely facial massage and head massage. She worked the whole hour and was very sweet. My visit to Kimberley Bay Spa in Chinatown, New York City, left much to be desired. I initially requested a bodywork session, which started off fine but quickly turned disappointing. The techniques used were very poor; it felt more like they were just rubbing oils and lotions into my body rather than giving an actual massage. I found myself just waiting for it to end, as it was far from the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I also tried a facial massage, which was better than the bodywork but still not enough to redeem the overall experience. The pricing was another issue. At $80, the services felt extremely overpriced for the quality received. Additionally, I encountered difficulties when it came to tipping. They started with a 20% tip suggestion and were quite rigid when I asked to customize it to 15% or 18%. This demanding approach was off-putting, and I felt pressured to pay the higher tip. I had the worst experience there. I went there had massage and the lady kept coughing while my back is naked having massage and she's not even wearing mask. And then the owner literally took my phone to take pictures and write down the comments by himself. I feel very uncomfortable and offended. I've never seen any store owner just took customers phone to write reviews, and obviously it happens to not only on me. And at the end I paid 15% tips, they won't let me go. Even at the end I paid 18% the lady still said something in chinese like "Is there anyone like you?" in a tone like look down on you. Very very rude. This place is as extraordinary as massage parlor can be. very intimate and hard to miss due to the readiness of all the staff treating and greeting people outside the shop. We were in New York for couple of days visiting friends. It is such a pleasant thing discovering Kimberly spa. Very busy inside, but not noisy the massage therapists are polite and quiet, they do not chat among each other. They offer a variety of services such as Chinese cupping hot stone and regular massages. I had a 90 minutes massage from Lily, she's in her 30-40s, very detailed massage with firm pressures. She looks very professional and her massage was definitely a match. They offered a loyalty program that I can accumulate points with, although it won't work for me since I was only in New York for couple of days. Highly recommended place. read more

I got the 1 Hour Foot Massage at Kimberley spa and really enjoyed it. Workers were very friendly and prompt in providing service. The massage was thorough and a lot better than others Ive had in the city. Was definitively something to get after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. Also in the middle of Chinatown so you're near other restaurants and pit stops on the way. Also offered other services and we're very helpful as I wasn't familiar with the area. I use to live in New York City but now I'm in Albany. Every time I make a trip back to visit my parents I always try to come here. Fair prices for New York City standards and excellent techniques from the staff. I've been to several places in Albany but nowhere compares well enough to this place. The staff are all very nice and courteous but the most important part is the level of relaxation you'll get after a session. This is my second time at Kimberly Spa, I was visiting my firend who lives about 5 minutes from Kimberly Spa. I was not expecting such high quality service, since this is a Chinese owned little store. But I was wrong, their massuer had massage license and it was posted on the wall for customers to see. She gave the best foot massage ever, the pressure was perfect, (i've had very painful massages, since the Chinese culture beleives in massage can cure certain biological disorders, so they do it with tensed pressure.) Came to get a foot massage with some friends. When we first came they were enough workers to accommodate all of us and they were welcoming. Got the one hour foot massage and my masseuse (Jack) asked how I strong I wanted my massage which was nice cause most would just go in and wait until you tell them to soften up. They clean your feet prior to the massage and even had reclining chairs to make it extra relaxing. Jack checked in to make sure the pressure was what I wanted. I decided to go to the one in Manhattan on 14th St. And immediately booked my appointment :) I went in for the one hour foot massage that was priced at $45 online. It was very easy to get there. I took the number three train to 14th St., and then a six minute walk. My appointment was set for 10:30 AM. I got there about 15 minutes early and it seemed like I was the only one there. Upon entering the atmosphere is extremely clean, and there was Zen music playing. I greeted the man at the front desk and he did the same and he told me to have a seat in any chair. I did just that then got comfortable. The masseuse brought out a huge basin of water to quickly soak my foot in then he began to work half an hour, each foot and calf. It was very relaxing. I then decided to go on Yelp to check in. After I did it said I get a free 10 minute massage The guy who worked on my feet asked me if I wanted a back massage or another foot massage so I guess you have a choice. I told him a back massage and he placed the chair for me to sit and place my head in what I call the donut hole lol. This was done after my hour 60 minute foot rub. At the end of the foot massage I got a nice hot stone foot and calf rub which was fantastic. At the end of it all I went to go and pay, and I saw on there price list the 60 minute foot rub was $47 so I pulled up their website and I showed them that it says 45 online. She told me $45 in cash $47 by using card so I used my card since I didn't walk with any cash so keep that in mind. I definitely recommend this spot. I'm glad that my friend found it and I followed suit. I will be making this a monthly thing. I can't wait to go back again. So don't hesitate to check them out.

I was immediately greeted by the owner when i walked by. Luckily they had openings and I got my foot rub right away. My masseuse was great and she worked on my tired feet and my plantar fasciitis well. Then, I also got a 60-min body massage after. The bed was a bit hard because they put a paper sheet on top of regular sheet and there is no regular room but a curtain divider. Regardless, the massage was good and even comes with hot stone. At the end, it was a very relaxing massage and definitely worth the price. It is not the luxurious massage from fancy spa but you get a nice bodywork done. Cash is king here and you will get lower price if you pay with cash.

I thought the price was worth the expertise of my masseuse who worked for it. 1 hour foot massage was heavenly. The masseuse knows pressure points and techniques and applied really firm pressure. I ended it with a quick 15 minute back massage where she focused on my shoulders like I asked and was able to annihilate my knots after the 10 hour flight to NYC 2 days prior. She was on top of me pressing down with all her might. I believe she may also be a pro wrestler. I previously went into a different spa before winding up here but I didn't like the pushy attitude so I left. I'm glad I found this spot. They are flexible and super nice. It's also clean and smells good. I asked to start with a 15 minute foot massage because sometimes a massage at a new place is terrible so it's not worth staying for and I asked to bump it up to 1 hour because it was really good! My face felt light and dare I say slight tighter/lifted in certain areas, than they had before. Naoko had an incredibly sunny, kind personality and energy about her, which was a 'plus' to the wonderfully relaxing and de-stressing massage she provided. While initially I was unsure about this place, as there was no phone number available to talk to a human, they were otherwise very quick to response to my inquiries prior to my appointment via text.
