For around $89, you get an incredible spread: about 8 different banchan (side dishes), grilled fish, spicy squid stir-fry, bulgogi (or spicy pork), marinated crab, and soybean paste stew. Even though I cook Korean food at home, it's a lot of work to prep this many dishes at once--this is exactly where I go when I want that "home-cooked" variety without the kitchen stress. The restaurant feels cleaner than before, and the service has gotten much friendlier. While many people come for the BBQ, the Family Combo is the hidden gem. It easily fed three of us with leftovers! The kimchi and radish were super flavorful and not too spicy! Kimchi was sooo good. Even though the side dishes were limited, I enjoyed the freshness and taste. I also tried the samgyetang (Korean chicken soup) and bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) for the first time. The samgyetang was light and hearty. The broth could have been a bit sweeter. I probably wouldn't order this again though because I like more flavor. Though the bibim naengmyeon was too spicy for me, it was refreshing. A female employee came by and asked if we needed anything, and I asked for napkins (to wipe the sweat off my face). She looked at me as if I was asking for a slice of pizza. I asked her if there was a problem, because of the look she gave me. She responded, "no." I got the feeling as though she didn't want to give us napkins for some reason. The patties are thick 1/2 pounders and are cooked to perfection. We usually split a burger because they're so huge! The Seoul sauce is fantastic and they come with cheddar cheese and are served on a brioche bun. They have other variations of burgers, including the Bulgogi burger made with grilled ribeye, Seoul X with fire soul meat, the Soul burger which is a Korean grilled pork butt, and more. They have great fries, including garlic fries. Service: there is often a line because the food is great! But the folks manning the grill are fast without sacrificing quality. Service is friendly & efficient. They also have smash burgers, but we haven't tried them. The shakes are great and they make delicious pickles. Ambience: whenever we have been here, or was a food truck located in the parking lot of a mini-market. When we have eaten here before, they had no tables, so it was a bit messy in the car. We have been traveling for awhile, so it's been awhile since we ate here. It now looks like they may have a building and some outside seating. Time to go back!
