Since I live in Brea, I have been coming here since it first opened! They have always had great service, great food, open for breakfast and lunch! It has the ambience of a little hometown café. Their staff is always friendly and prompt to get you seated.

I have not been to this Kimmie's location in quite a while but nothing has changed (except the prices!). The food is still very good but I have never had a server with a worse demeanor, bordering on rude. If you just come for the food, you will probably be satisfied. But if you want friendly service with a smile. I wouldn't recommend this location. 4* for the food 2* for the service 3* overall

The "Mexican scramble" was excellent. Very flavorful and well prepared. Love it when the eggs are moist and NOT brown, The chilis were tender and mild and the onions translucent and soft. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Both waitresses were playing across all tables, love it when that happens, it indicates good management. A very pleasant outing

My parents love it, they went few times in two weeks. The whole restaurant has a homey vibe, it's warm and lovely. Kinda give you a feeling of the 70'. The food test pretty good too. My dad said the steak is very tasty, but the day I ordered, it's a little bit overcooked. However, the whole experience is great!! I love it and would definitely visit again!

I ordered the country style patty and eggs, I regret it. It wasn't worth the price and the taste, it was so dry. I'll make sure to NOT order any patty or sausage items.

Usually I would go to the fullerton kimmies on Commonwealth, but tried this location in Brea. I was a little disappointed because ive found that the customer service has spiraled. I walked in with my mom, the lady says 'ohh, for two, ok you can sit there, pointing and not leading us to our table, so, we sat. She was at an empty table didnt look busy and didn even turn around after we sat down. The food was good, patty very salty but if you like salt(like I) its good. Another server came to assist, very nice, young girl, it wasnt until I asked who that other lady was, that they attended to us, the rude lady's name was Leah. While waiting for our food, Leah, welcomed customers (that looked like regulars) with a welcoming " Hi how are you, when did you get back from vacation". Like, we didnt get that welcoming. I did notice that the ethnicity she was welcoming were white vs my mom and I being mexican. While another customer came in, she also told him to sit at the counter, and she tossed the menu to the gentleman. Being a resident in fullerton my entire life , I have noticed a change in customer service in fullerton and now in brea. I wouldn't go again. However, the food was decent. Remember, customers are the reasons your business, we would appreciate that customer service is consistent with all customers not just being selective.

From the cozy atmosphere to the beautiful presentation and variety of dishes, this was such a satisfying foodie experience. I ordered a little bit of everything so I could try a variety of flavors, and honestly, everything was delicious! Plant Latte -- Creamy, smooth, and the perfect drink to enjoy alongside brunch. It had a lovely flavor and was a great pick-me-up. Artisan Sakura Green Tea -- Such a beautiful and refreshing tea! The delicate sakura flavor made this feel extra special and was a nice lighter option with the meal. Ube French Toast -- This was definitely one of my favorites! The French toast was rich and indulgent, with delicious ube flavor and a gorgeous presentation. Sweet, satisfying, and totally Instagram-worthy! Nutella Banana Pancake Stack -- If you have a sweet tooth, you NEED to try these! Fluffy pancakes topped with bananas, Nutella drizzle, whipped cream, and all the delicious toppings. Every bite was sweet, chocolatey, and comforting. Croissant Avocado & Ham Sandwich -- A great savory balance to all the sweet dishes! The buttery croissant paired beautifully with the avocado, ham, and egg. It was filling without feeling too heavy and made for a really satisfying brunch option. Overall, I was very happy with my experience! The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and there was plenty of variety on the menu for both sweet and savory brunch lovers. The portions also made this feel like a great place to come with friends or family and share a few different dishes. Customer satisfaction: 10/10! I especially liked the Avocado Benedict, there was a savory and creamy taste to it. The House French Toast was a great addition for dessert; the toast had a crispy texture while the inside was soft. The Manga Iced Green Tea was refreshing but if you wanted something interesting but also a latte then the potted plant is a good choice! Overall, everything lacked flavor, although I will say the red salsa served with the chips was delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

Bottom Line Up Front: Eggbred is breakfast food for Gen Z --…read moreand that's not a dig by any means. Let me eggplain... The Background: Eggbred is a fast-food establishment with fast-casual aspirations. You pay at the counter but the meals are handcrafted, so there's a wait similar to a sit-down restaurant. Plus, the prices are higher than a Mickey D's -- $9.79 to $13.99 for sandwiches and $9.99 to $17.99 for burritos, for example. The Food: I ordered the Ribeye California Burrito and it was delicious. The beef was tender and moist, the avocado was fresh, and the cilantro crema was tasty. The lemonade was very meh, unfortunately. The Setting: Located in a smallish strip mall on Harbor Boulevard, it has limited free parking in the front. Not a problem on a weekday mid morning, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to find parking at peak times. Inside, it had a cool, modern aesthetic, but it was small, not ideal for mid to large-size groups. Customer Service: My cashier was friendly and quite knowledgeable, providing an eggcellent recommendation (the Ribeye California Burrito). However, the cook staff took awhile making the food (it took about 20 minutes for my order to come out). The Pros and Cons: So, is the food worth the hype and premium prices? Yes and no. It's essentially a fast-food restaurant charging sit-down prices with longish wait times. Your satisfaction level will depend largely on your expectations: if you're thinking it's fast food, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the care they put into the food and freshness of the ingredients. You'll be disappointed if you're expecting a more premium experience to match the premium prices. The Conclusion: I would need to return to try the other dishes on the menu to give a definitive answer, but based on my first experience I didn't feel like I got enough value for the price I paid and the wait I endured. While I would be open to trying their other dishes, I would not return unless I was in the area by chance.
