I absolutely love this place. Have been here once after class and they have so many tofu options! I got the general Taos tofu and it was so delicious and full of flavor. Reviews seemed legit so tried them out. Pretty disappointed. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, the sauce was extremely watery. I've never had batter like this before either. It was extremely over cooked and dry. Not your typically batter. There was practically no chicken inside all the over cooked batter. I had to pick the chicken apart from the batter for my son because he could barely chew the dried pieces of chicken. The egg rolls were decent flavored but VERY greasy. The wonton soup was good but I got 1 tiny wonton. Most likely won't be going back. The gal who answered the phone was extremely nice though so that's why I'm giving 2 stars read more

If you can avoid this place. They're not abiding by covid rules at all. I got a vegetable stir fry that basically looked like onion, cabbage and carrot soup. It was disgusting. My husband got the spicy chicken teriyaki which was not good at all and my sister got the beef and chicken teriyaki which was also a disappointment. So sad because I had high hopes for this business. The staff was not friendly at all and we felt so rushed ordering. Also the girl working the front didn't have a mask on at all, instead she was using protective goggles that were upside down and hanging below her chin. Let me start off by saying it took me a bit to get home so the chicken yakisoba was just not awesome I took a bite of the noodles and instantly wished they had more flavor theb the check was pretty dry but tasted ok. I will say this I could have eaten in for days when it came to portion size. The pork teriyaki was good and so was the white rice that came with it but the steamed veggies (normally my favorite part at any teriyaki place) were dirty and not cleaned well if at all. Portions were generous and the food was good. As far as Japanese / Asian-style fast food goes, this is a good choice. Could you get better elsewhere? Sure. But is coming here still worth it? Yep. For the most part, their food falls into the "average" or sometimes even "good" category. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality, so finicky eaters might not be too happy about the occasionally subpar food. Personally? I like it. I mean yeah, it's nothing special. But it's good, fast, and cheap. The service here is always nice, too, and after the first few times we came by, the owner even remembered our orders. (I'm a picky eater that always orders his fried rice a very specific way) They were never rude or seemed bothered by my picky eating. If anything, they were happy to accommodate. Something that I believe is very important in any business; people shouldn't be shamed or berated for being picky or having special dietary needs. So, in short: Sun's Teriyaki is a pretty average place. Decent food, nice owners, take out options, etc. But, it's definitely not for everyone. read more

Meh. This is a 2 star restaurant by Graham standards, so given a more competitive area, it would probably score less. Its nice to have a Teriyaki restaurant in the hub of Graham social and night life, but its not that great. It definitely is better than Safeway, but compared to a lot of other teriyaki restaurants in the area, it doesn't measure up. Depending on where you're coming from and where you're going to, it may be the only Teriyaki restaurant available. In that case, they serve large portions, are very friendly, and inexpensive. We had chicken yakisoba, gyoza, and a spicy chicken vegetable stir fry. The yakisoba and stir fry tasted very little like teriyaki fare. The noodles seemed to have been boiled rather than pan fried and seared. More like general meat and vegetable stews with a bit of soy sauce poured on the plate. If you're more towards South Hill, Happy Bento is better (by the 160th Walmart). If you're down in the Orting area, WaWa teriyaki or Modoo #3 are better options. read more

Definitely a disappointing experience. My wife's teriyaki and chicken katsu was borderline burnt, my chicken yakisoba tasted like it came out of a plastic ramen pack and had little to no flavor.
