This place is so cute! Reminds me of a fair restaurant. The food is pretty good and the service is good! If you're craving an affordable dinner this is a good spot to go!

Great place to come for a delicious burger laid back atmosphere with amazing service and tasty food! This is the best location in my opinion. They just do it right every time! It's been several a few months since I've been here so I'm going enjoy this one !!

I used to think I was a fairly smart individual. I actually thought I could eat a whole regular hamburger. Man, was I wrong! Yes, I know my appetite isn't what it used to be. Gone are the days when I could eat three fried chickens and a coke. There must be a wee bit of false advertising at play. They call that a half pound burger ... it seemed bigger than that. I could hardly get my mouth open wide enough to insert burger. Tasty!!! My wife couldn't finish her junior burger either. The crinkle fries also were perfect, as was the banana milkshake... nothing artificial there! The wait was also short. I loved the old school grocery store vibe as well.

Kincaid's is still my favorite Burger place. Especially since they now offer both the Cowtown Deluxe Burger and the Texas Firecracker Burger. Both require little to no modifications by me. Just great basic Hamburgers and they offer a Military Discount!!

We stopped by Kincaid's Hamburgers while visiting Fort Worth a couple of weekends ago. I included Kincaid's on my list of dining options in the Dallas Fort Worth area after reading Guy H.'s enthusiastic review. Kincaid's has been in business since 1946, and that fact alone would make this outpost a rarity anywhere these days. Immediately upon seeing Kincaid's in person for the first time, I was mesmerized by the vintage aspect of it: the red neon signage outdoors, the name of the business emblazoned on glass windows, the neighborhood diner meets indoor picnic meets community dining aspect and the intriguing ephemera inside. The people who worked the ordering station were very friendly and eager to answer questions. Dining-wise, the bacon cheeseburger was my favorite item, and it came dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, mayo and mustard. I had hoped the burger would have been a but juicier and maybe not as well done, but I still really liked it. The onion rings, however, were overly peppery and super crispy. Next time, I would skip those and get fries. I tried a few fries, and those were good. Sweet tea was my drink of choice, and I enjoyed it with a few slices of lemon. Parking outside was easy considering how incredibly popular this place is. Finding a place to sit inside was more of a challenge because of the Saturday lunch rush, and we ended up sitting near the front door. But I was happy to visit Kincaid's and enjoyed my visit overall. 4/5, Recommended!

Cheap yummy food, cool lunch hall vibes, an iconic fort worth place! Wish they had a better system for knowing when your order is ready rather than the names just being shouted out across the restaurant but i liked it here!

I am happy to report that the Original kincaids is still slinging the same high quality knock your socks off burgers as always. I always hold my breath hoping it hasn't changed. Usually when an original starts branching out to other locations they tend to loose focus and decline. Not here. My standard order is the 1/2 pound chili cheeseburger. Heaven on earth. To give you a great barometer on just how great these hamburgers are,I glanced over at a table of 9 adults having lunch. Not a single one was talking...just consuming one of the best burgers in Texas. If you haven't gone my question is why not?

Best burger in town (or out of town). I laugh because everyone told me Kincaid's burgers were the best when I moved to the area and now I believe it. They are perfect. Mustard, lettuce, tomato, on a quality burger patty and bun. The onion rings are perfectly seasoned and I got the fries at my last visit and they are solid as well. I haven't tried anything else but I always think I will have room for a Blue Bell shake but my eyes are bigger than my stomach. The service is quick too, and I'm used to their being a small line. I love the original location for the nostalgia too.

My parents first took me to Kincaids back in 1988. And I really liked the food. In the little town that I grew up in, we had Tookies Hamburgers that opened in 1975. It is an eclectic restaurant like Kincaids but not nearly as old. I grew up eating Tookies and at one ne time it was my favorite place to get hamburgers in Seabrook Texas, but when in Fort Worth, it is Kincaids. Overtime the way the food is prepared and served changes for good or ill, that's what happened to Tookies. Hurricane Ike flooded the restaurant back in 2008 and the owner sold it. The new owner kept the old menu but added stuff to it, put a bar in where my favorite booth was and then moved the restaurant to Galveston county. Tookies has not been the same since it was sold.Kincaids has not really changed since I first went there with my parents, though things have changed for me. My parents are both gone now, and when I was there I was flooded with memories of eating there with my mom and dad. It was nice to remember them there. A fun game to play when you are waiting to order is to look at the expiration dates on the food cans. It may be time for Kincaids to restock. So if you are looking for a really good consistent Hamburger in the place it has been for forever, look no further. Kincaids is the place to go. Pro tip, if you go there during the week and park on the street beside Kites dry cleaners, they may put a note on your windshield telling you, you cannot park there. Just tell them it is a public street and enjoy the rest of your visit. This actually happened to me back in 1996. Thank you Kincaids for being such a good place to eat and a place full of memories for me.

Great burgers and onion rings, with a classic old school atmosphere. Parking can be a bit tricky tho.

Delicious burgers, fries, and shakes. Primarily self service. Picnic table style eating gives the feel of a large family event.

All of the food was delicious. Drinks were great. The food was not cheap but the price was very fair for what we got. The drinks were reasonably priced. We stayed for about 4 hours. My kids played Starwars pin ball, they played on a really cool play ground, jumped on their jumping station, and played on their pedal controlled race car track. It was hot, so we let the kids play for a bit, then moved to eat inside until the sun went down a little more then we went outside. They had fans and misters for the heat. The lighting and atmosphere were awesome, especially as it got darker. The bathrooms were decent. All staff I interacted with were super helpful and friendly, We will be back! My kids were worn out, we had really yummy food. Really amazing experience.

As if Chuck E Cheese got into the beer brewing industry. Had to use my phone to first sign a waiver, which is odd and felt like a ploy to be able to get your information probably for marketing. Also had to use your phone in order to order food even though I was standing at the counter speaking to an employee. Tried the mini corn dogs and fries. Both tasted frozen which was a letdown since breweries usually have great food. The beer is definitely the star of the place though as it should be. Will continue to buy it in the stores but wouldn't return to the brewery.

Dammmm. Oh this place is legit…read more I've been to the Stockyards many times, but never here. This time, I Yelped burgers and Hooker's popped up. I've seen this lace but didn't understand it. But Yelp is rarely wrong so off I go. I showed up and ordered from a small kitchen woo. Menu was on a board. I got a single patty chz burger w/ crispy FFs. Order showed up a few minutes later. This burger was one of the best I've ever had. And I've had Margie's in Bryan and this one is right there. Juicy patty, grilled onions, melting cheese, a little salt n pepper. Oh so good. The FFs are good too. Thin sliced n seasoned just right - for me. And rounding it off old school, RC Cola. It was a great lunch.

We had a weekday off and decided to make an effort to show up. We werent disappointed! We didnt want to go into a food coma, so we ordered an indian taco to share and some tater tots. It took maybe 7 minutes for our order, which was not bad at all with them frying up the frybread on order. To our surprise, the owner decided that the one frybread we were initially having was too small, so we got two "medium" frybreads with all the fixings. The owner is super nice and didnt have to do that! The frybread itself is the best Ive had at a restaurant in DFW. Its soft, while crispy and substantial in its doughiness. The fixings are not fancy, but they are executed well in every aspect. I like that they offer green chili sauce in addition to all the typical taco fixings. The tater tots were super crispy and were exactly what I wanted in tater tots. While the seating here is in a covered outdoor shack, they do have air conditioning. The day we visited was a pleasant 70 degrees, so there was no need for the AC to run. But I also mention this in case you come in August. I imagine the AC unit does a good job, but its not a typical interior setup.
