Brought my son here for his first haircut. His hair looks okay but not great. Kinda made us regrets getting his hair cut. First off my son was not a fan of the electric trimmers the lady was using. But she continued to use them even when he was crying bloody murder. Wish she would just stick to scissors. Might have had a better experience. His hair was uneven, kinda looks like if I would to cut hair. I wish they were more patient with the little one instead of rushing and moving on to the next customer especially paying $17 (that's more than my husbands haircuts. She did snip some hair for us to keep and they gave us a certificate as well which was nice. Not sure if I'll come back here. I'll probably try out another place. read more

Our first time here was amazing our second time was terrible i don't remember the name who did his hair last she dug the machine into my sons head he tried even more than shots and hes gotten haircuts plenty of times and this was a bog shock to us that he cried. Just came in this morning for my daughter's first hair cut. It was very nice and pretty busy when I walked it. There were chairs for adults in front and back, a huge tv playing Moana and little play structures for the toddlers in the back. I waited for about 20/25 mins with 6 customers ahead of me. I originally came in and wanted a comb over and she said she could make that happen, then my boyfriend came in while she was cutting his hair and said he wanted him to have a mohawk lol and she heard us going back and fourth and was like "look! *combs hair over* comb over, *combs hair up* Mohawk! This is where we routinely take our 19 month old to get his hair cut. They do a consistent job with his hair, we always leave with him happy and his hair looking nice. He likes sitting in the racecars while his hair is cut. I took off a star because I think it could be a smidge cleaner- they are very busy there. We were there on Wednesday at 11AM and place wasn't busy. Ann was the hair dresser and she did a good job of making sure our 11 month old girl got a nice hair cut. One of the biggest difference that we noticed from our previous experience at Candy cuts was that this place was absolutely clean!!! Second, by the time our kid realized she was getting a haircut or someone touching her hair, Ann was almost done with the hair cut. She was fast and accurate! I have been taking my little guy to Kinder Cuts ever since his first haircut and I am proud to say he does not mind it at all here. The barbers (both guys and gals) are extremely friendly, quick, and efficient. They have a fun play area in both the front and back of the salon which makes it entertaining for the kids and reduces any stress for the parents! I can't understand how people can take their kids to get hair cut at this place. My daughter who is 7 years old told me she never wants to come back. The hairdresser was very rude and she was hurting my daughter while she aggressively brushed her hair. She was not careful and without any interaction with the the kids(just talked loudly with her colleague the whole time). I am really surprised they have any good reviews????? My kids love this place. I have a place that does it cheaper and what I think to be a better job but I end up bringing them here. They love the T.V. set up with the chairs, the play houses, the cars they get to sit in while getting the cut, the lollipops afterwords.......The things I do for my kids. I really dislike going into South San Jose- I would rather ride my bike blindfolded through downtown Cupertino before driving out here through every teenager in existence that's rolling around in their parents car. I have taken Evan here a few times. Its the only place I know of that specializes in children's hair cuts. He loves the seats, especially the little red buggy and the small little house in the back. It is a bit much, its $18.00 for hes hair cut, with tip it ends up being about $20.00. But he seems to enjoy it, and the hair cut always comes out great. He goes about once a month. read more

I love this place! I've been going to them for 2.5 years. The location is 20 miles from my house, but for me the drive is worth it. I never have to wait longer than five minutes, but I also never walk-in without an appointment. Kim is very fast and patient, especially considering both my two and four year old's scream and cry. The place is also spacious and play area's are clean. Love that they take credit cards! The only reason I give it four stars is because they often forget not to use the blow dryer even after I have reminded them. read more

Both of my precious babies got their first haircuts here. We got a certificate and some of their hair for a keepsake, WAAAY CUTE! They have millions of lollipops, a gumball machine, a playhouse that my daughter thinks is hers when we're there ( so hopefully we're not there at the same time), a climbing thing with a slide, a huge TV always playing a movie, clean restrooms and sweet cars to sit in while the kids get their cut. We've been coming here for about 5 years now cuz if my babes love it, i love it. The cuts are pretty nice, just don't let sum chick named Amy anywhere near ur child's hair! My kids are a handful. They are not cool with haircuts either. My five year old can handle it mostly, but my two year old screams because of the sound of the clippers, but Kinder Cuts calmed them down and made the experience much better. The stylist knew what to do to calm them down and gave them the perfect haircuts and all the employees were nice and helpful. The guy in front made them laugh. This place is just okay. They have the cool seats, and a couple toys, and movies playing. The few times I have been there they have seen my quickly and gotten us out quickly but they dont talk to the parents, dont talk to the kids, not very friendly but they get the job done. Second haircut for my boy who's 3. He had a terrible experience at Lillipop cuts for kids on prospect so he was reluctant for a haircut (4mos. later). I was a same day call in with no appointment and they fit us right in within 45 mins time frame. We got to the place in 15 mins and only waited 5 minutes and then we were up. There is a bounce house for kids outside the place which is pretty cool and the kids were having a blast. We walked in and were greeted right away. The place was busy. We said we were early for a call in and they told us no problem to have a seat. So they lady that cut my boys hair was names "EN". She was so sweet and careful cutting she did a great job and made him feel comfy and let him choose his race car seat. She was not rushed and took her time and asked up how we wanted his hair and checked with us if ok during his entire cut. She did a great job and did what we asked. My son loved his cut and was so happy he waved at everyone and said Thanks. They have a lot of things to keep the kids busy.
