The lobster bisque had no lobster at all, it was pretty much a lobster flavor bisque. The bone in ribeye was ok it had a great char but not very flavorful even with the garlic butter they put on top. The service was good overall but even with reservations we still had to wait outside for 35 minutes before we could be seated and got lit up by the mosquitos. If you haven't been before give it a try for the experience but definitely not somewhere I'd visit again.

An absolutely unforgettable dining experience!! My girlfriend and I are foodies and often travel to locations just for restaurants we find. We just happened to see this place when we were staying in Islamorada, and I was really glad we did. While the food was amazing, the staff and atmosphere made this one of our favorite dining experiences we've ever had in the US or abroad. Our server, Sandra, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the entire team worked together and complimented each others excellent service. We were seated right next to the kitchen which is in the main dining room, sort of a chef's table without requesting it, and that really added to the experience. The executive chef as well as the other chefs and cooks were fun to watch but also very engaging, they let us see the kitchen and were talking to us throughout. I've never seen a team of chefs work together as well as this. The food was conceptually impeccable but the execution was even better; everything was cooked to perfection. It's a little pricey but that's to be expected if you want a culinary adventure like this, and it's worth it. If they hadn't been closed the next two nights after we ate there, we would have been back again both of those nights as well. We had a wonderful dining experience at Kindler in Islamorada. The food and service were both excellent. Our server, Rasih, was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. He explained the dishes very well and gave great recommendations. Since we love seafood, he suggested the octopus and prawn for appetizers, and they were absolutely delicious. He also recommended the Cowboy Ribeye steak and mentioned that it's perfect for sharing between two people, which was a great choice. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The potato pave was definitely a highlight of the meal -- 10/10! Yadira was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the overall experience even better. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. We truly enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again. Then we split their Ribeye Center Cut with some Truffled Pom fries. Excellent choice. They do however charge a $15 fee for sharing. Which is fine. We also sucked down a couple of martinis. Highly recommend. It's a great place to also learn about Henry Flagler and how the railroad system went through The Keys.

The potatoes are a bit hit or miss as it's not coated well so you'll get some pieces that taste great and some that are just plain potato. Definitely think they should toss these a bit better or add more sauce as they become quite dry. The pieces that are coated do have a good flavor. Before our appetizers we also got a "Margarita" pizza. I say "Margarita" because I would equate this more to just a cheese pizza. It's quite greasy and has some flop to it. It definitely was a decent pizza just think they need to lighten up on the cheese, add a bit more basil, and add some tomato. I noticed it had some stringy beef almost like braised beef on it. Apparently it was "beef bacon" but to us it looked like braised beef. The bun I assume was a potato roll and because of all the toppings the bottom was essentially disintegrated and falling apart since it was soaked. Being called a beef bacon smash burger I expected 1-2 patties and some crispy bacon definitely not what I received. I also expected with paying extra to atleast have a couple truffle shavings on it. The taste of truffle was so light I'd say it was barely even there. Service wise it was not the worst nor the best. Usually when we go to higher end places or places aiming for a star we'd expect perfect service. We had to ask for refills on multiple occasions, we don't drink alcohol so we just needed a refill of their soda from the fountain which isn't that hard. So definitely not as on point as it could be. All in all I think for being in the keys this is a good place that has some improvements to make. I don't think they're Michelin star ready as of yet but with some adjustments I definitely think they could be on their way.

The seafood platter was the biggest disappointment, especially considering the price. The mahi was under seasoned, and the texture wasn't enjoyable. The crab cakes had a fishy taste, and while the scallops were just okay, the shrimp was actually very good. The sweet potato side was delicious, but overall the platter didn't feel like a good value for what was served. Overall, despite a few misses, this was still the best dining experience we had in the Keys. The service was good, and there were enough standout dishes that we'd come back. I'd recommend sticking with the conch fritters, mussels, Angus cheeseburger, and shrimp.

The food came out quickly and was delicious. I'm giving 4 stars because the service was a little slow. It took a while for our server to greet us, and they didn't bring clean plates after we finished our appetizer. We also asked for our sandwiches to be cut in half, but ended up having to do it ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the beautiful atmosphere. With a little more attention to service, this would easily be a 5-star experience!

Instead they filled the plate with all kinds of berries so I couldn't try it. No one ate it. She did offer to do it over but I feel like she should tell us before she changed the whole dessert. It didn't look great.
