I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the staff were so friendly and the steak was up to par. The ribeye was delicious and flavorful and cooked exactly as asked for. The sauces that came with it were fantastic as well. However, there were a couple things that were slightly frustrating. The Wagyu Burger was way overcooked (we asked for medium rare and it was nearly well done). When I asked for lettuce and tomatoes it wasn't an option. While maybe this isn't the place to order burgers, it just was pretty disappointing. The ambiance was alright. It was very empty and the music was somewhat typical. This may be unimportant, but we couldn't help but notice that the plates were oddly shaped and a little scratched. All that being said, I would totally come back and just order the steaks because they were absolutely delicious. read more

After reading other reviews, I thought it was worth trying it out. I felt a little bit guilty for not selecting a typical Keys seafood restaurant. WOW! This was the right choice. Service was excellent, but the food was awesome! We had the mozzarella croquettes app (delightful), salad with avocado and poppyseed dressing (not sure what it was called - just order it!), wagyu burger with truffle fries (sick!) and the best Brussels we've ever tasted (and we order them at every restaurant we go to). Don't go for the ambiance, but be sure to go. You won't be disappointed. We left shaking our heads about how lucky we were to have stumbled upon this restaurant. read more

I wanted something other than fish, so I came to this spot. Amazingly friendly staff, and the food is absolutely delicious. I got the Wagyu picanha and it was simply perfect. Medium rare, as it should be. They served it with Brazilian vinaigrette and chimichurri. Also got a hearts of palm salad, which was fantastic as well. And a glass of Malbec that was A+. Food was well prepared....but there were some problems here...first off.... only one draft beer available out of five on the menu.... three meats not available on the menu "waiting for a delivery ".... While waiting over 45 minutes for our entrees we saw our waitress return from what we what we believe was the supermarket....... We were the only table in the restaurant for a while and it took us almost two hours to have dinner.... Then to top it off when the check came the electronic payment system had an automatic 30% tip loaded in for our server..... I don't think so!!! Sorry chef prepares some good food.... My husband and I shared the 32 oz sampler platter and it was all delicious. We loved the chimichurri and the red (spicy-ish) sauce. We split the shrimp ceviche tostones appetizer and my picky husband devoured it. We would have taken pictures of the food, but it disappeared. The yuca fries were delectable as was the churro and ice cream dessert. I also enjoyed one of their local beers on draft. Very good service and great food.
