A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.

I love how they still kept a big collection of manga books lined up the wall (btw the books are only read in Japanese not in English).
