To start off I would like to mention to the readers if you want to have to wear a gas mask from the parking lot to the table then this is the spot for you. However, gas mask are not my thing, so the oduor of death and sewer are enough to knock a grown man onto his behind disgusted me to my core. On the subject of hygiene, the bathrooms are horrid as well. There was a mess of toilet paper everywhere, and the sick looked more hazardous to touch then not washing my hands. I was more than happy that I had brought my hand sanitizer that day. Now to the food. The food is the worst thing I have ever tasted. my eggroll was rotten on the inside. The crab legs were all around horrible. All the food was cold the highest temperature the food reached was room temperature. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL. Only the store-bought ice cream and cakes were the best and even then, they tasted a day away from stale. Also, the customer service was 0 and they were super rude to my family. My mother and grandmother tried to tell the server that the food wasn't good and wasn't warm. The server then caught an attitude and tried to argue with them saying there was so much of the plates that it looks like it was good, which my mother responded to her by saying the reason the plates were so full was because we took one bite of the nasty food and had to go try and find anything edible, in which we didn't. So, I'm going to end this asking for either Gorden Ramsey himself to save this place, or for no one to eat there for their safety. Especially sense the bill was $19.99 per person. First and foremost service is awful. Servers are unapproachable and not very friendly. Food is subpar at best. Restaurant is barely even clean, i was nervous to eat some of the food because of how indecent it looked. Turned out I was right, we both got extremely sick after eating here. Restaurant is clean, spacious and well-lit (restrooms too, if you're interested). Plenty of room to move around between buffet bars and tables in the dining areas... i.e. no bumping into your neighbor at the feeding trough. To clarify the previous review: the Mongolian Grill and the Sushi Bar are both included in the buffet price. The signs mentioning to-go containers pertain to take-out customers only. Servers are friendly and attentive, refilling drinks and clearing empty plates when necessary. The food, though, is bland at best. Even our kettle of hot tea was weak. The customer service is AWFUL!!!! The food is okay. Nothing special. The noodles were hard? Like they had been sitting out for hours. I've given this place several tries and every time, they're rude. Don't speak to you. Don't greet you. I asked for Diet Coke and they never told me they didn't have it just brought me Pepsi. Which isn't the biggest deal but for the price of this food. Do no eat here unless you want to leave disappointed and in gastrointestinal distress. I am not a picky eater at all, but only about 3 things on the buffet I tried were edible. Even the classics like crab Rangoon, sweet n sour chicken and lo mein noodles were subpar. I tried some "coconut shrimp" that literally tasted like the inside of a communal jock strap- I had to spit it out to keep from gagging. The chicken had lots of gristle and was pretty bland in flavor. Overall I would only recommend this place if you hate yourself and want to ruin the rest of your evening. Your average Chinese Buffet. They never bring out enough crab legs. So if your going to get any you have to stand their and wait on them. All while being mean mugged when you take most of what they bring out. The Decor is old and out dated and the bath rooms are just gross. I am normally happy eating buffet and really like Chinese. I have eaten here before and felt it was decent enough to go back. This was a Tuesday night. Terrible. Sushi was comprised only of rice, nori, avocado, and imitation crab. No other seafood as a choice. The fried rice was cold, hard, and old. My daughter almost broke her tooth on an onion ring!!! Who could imagine that would even be possible? We struggled to find anything decent. They were cleaning the Mongolian grill while we were looking for something to eat--stinks. They were vacuuming the dining room while we were eating. The kids were ready to go. Waiting for the check I joked saying I was waiting for my fortune cookie and it would probably be stale and have no fortune. I was right!!!! Broken up cookie with no fortune. Went at dinner about 1 hr 20 min before close. Nothing was out. Seriously like 90% of everything was empty, and there was NO sushi ! What was there was not impressive at all. People were there, but if I wasn't with a group I would have just put the plate down and left. They refreshed only one or two things. We have eaten King buffet since they opened. We enjoy both the buffet items and the Mongolian grill. There are plenty of spices that you can add to your dish before it is grilled. There's also sushi. You can choose from all three. The food is good and we always are satisfied. The restaurant is large and spacious and is generally in good condition. The service is good; the waitresses keep your glasses filled and dishes removed as as your meal progresses. read more

King Buffet is me and my family's guilty pleasure, I must admit. I've tried all the Chinese buffets in the area. This one's the best. Their variety is extreme, from classic Chinese entrees to sushi and Mongolian. Now the caveats are the buffets usual suspects, empty trays over hot water, sometimes overdone chicken pieces, and some of the waitstaff are obviously not too happy to be there, but a few hostesses make up for that and are extremely friendly. Bummer & waste. We typically go here for quick sushi and seafood items. On 8.9.14 at 3:30pm my fiancé and I visited and were appalled at the overall quality of the food. This is a fairly new restaurant in Sherman, built into a strip-mall type area. The restaurant was not the first occupant of this building, but I don't recall what was there before. . We weren't very impressed When we arrived, it took several minutes for the woman up front to even acknowledge us. She was talking on her cell phone. She finally motioned us to follow her to our table while she continued to talk non-stop on her cell phone. The food on the buffet was unimpressive. Most of the "hot" food didn't seem to be properly heated to temperatures that would keep the food safe. Most of the food seemed bland and uninspired. The hot and sour soup was pretty good, though. There was a mongolian bbq set up, but I didn't see anyone doing that, and we didn't do it either, so I can't comment on that. The sushi area was a little confusing. The signage seems to suggest the sushi has to be placed in take out containers at an extra charge. I may be wrong about that though--I didn't care enough to confirm that. On th positive side, the resaurant is very roomy, and the noise level was low. Overall, my recommendation is to avoid this place. There are better Chinese restaurants in Sherman. read more

Management is extremely rude. Hostess (looked to be under legal working age) threw our utensils on the table, and when I wanted to use one of my coupons for $5.99 2pm-4pm, rude lady behind the counter said it can't be used since I came in at 1:55. It was 2:30 at the time of checkout. Does that mean I could have came in at 4pm, and stayed 'till the dinner menu for $5.99? Me and my family where on a trip and we where hungry so we decided to stop we didn't know how much costed until we finished but I think it's a fair price because the food is very good I would definitely come here next time when I'm close to Sherman Texas. My family loved the food their it was pretty great because their was this nice old man who would make u food of what u pick for the grill. Me and My Mother picked something so he can make.
