My very first review for Yelp, featured King Edwards Chicken. On my first visit this, "hole in a wall," restaurant, wasn't very appealing on the outside, but once in inside, you knew you step into a hidden gem, where food is super star, and anything else isn't important. Just like the first time I came here, chicken was hot, juicy, seasoned just right, and cooked perfectly. The staff behind the counter were fast, efficient, and very friendly. Again, King Edwards Chicken earned 5x2 thumbs up for maintaining consistency and affordability!

This is my first time in. Well, they out of corn on the cob. I came for the catfish and the corn. However I'll be trying the chicken as well. Now instead of the corn on the cob I'll be trying the Mac n cheese bites. The sodas are huge. They definitely give you something ta drink. Lol super huge fountain drinks. Ok I got catfish and fries Mac n cheese bites with hush puppies the husband got chicken & fries. So I took some of his chicken and gave him some fish. Anyway the all star legend is the catfish. It's super good and tasty the chicken is number 2 because the fish is number one hands down. First off the chicken was cold. The fish was so hot it melted my box they put it in. Oh joy its delicious you all have got to try this catfish super hot crunchy and tender so flavorful and its just divine. This place is a must try. Ok so with the power YELP has given me I now pronounce KEC a must try and I issue five stars. I'll be back here next week. Lol

3 piece with green beans, very good.

Happened to be checking Yelp and saw King Edwards Chicken. A quaint little spot in St. Peter's, MO that will deliver a great meal If you're in the vicinity. Located a short drive off interstate 70, King Edwards Chicken balances great chicken and sold side dishes. There are a few chicken places in the area, but King Edwards can provide what fast food chicken can't better prices, better quality and better service. The decor within King Edwards was a considerable amount pictures of St. Martin which help pass the time while waiting for your food. King Edwards also has an extensive menus of delicious fried treat such as chicken, catfish and appetizers. We ordered several items off the menu and order was prepared in less that 10 minutes, incredibly moist, full of flavor and side dishes were solid. Fried pickles and zucchini had a little too much grease but then again it's fried so no complaints here! Restaurant doesn't have restrooms so plan accordingly. Tables were also serviced promptly after every customer. Seating is limited and can fill up quickly based on the consistent number of customers we saw during our visit. Overall, good visit and experience. If you're in the area and in the mood for sit hot food, give them a try! We will be back.

This is my favorite fried chicken. I try to make it in at least once when I am in the Lou. Their lunch special is the best.

We've not had a bad experience with service at any point. The host(ess), waiter, and bartenders always do a fantastic job. Sometimes it can be quite busy and when that's the case, it can be quite noisy in the bar area. The rest of the restaurant remains far quieter even during rushes. It's also a nice place to visit when the weather is nice because they have a lovely patio. The only nuisance are random cars and/or motorcycles that drive by and continuously rev their engines. Not Prasino's fault, just the ignorant people driving by. All in all, brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour offer great options for everyone. The best part of Prasion is tasting the fresh ingredients they use.

Their menu changes over time but whether it is a delicious flatbread or a scrumptious cheeseburger I've always enjoyed my food here. My only regret is one time they had this fish special on black rice and it lives rent free in my head never to be seen again. The cocktails are killer. And to date, the only Missouri restaurant I've been to that has amazing cocktails but on the other hand, I haven't been to a ton of Missouri restaurants. Still, they are fun, crafty, and too delicious! Lastly the service has always been amazing. They are warm, welcoming, and attentive. I don't frequently see restaurants with their level of care in this area often. Highly recommend!

Since our table wasn't ready, we decided to grab a drink at the bar. The Una Vida Margarita was absolutely perfect, made just to my liking. Shortly after we got our drinks, our table was ready, so we quickly moved to our seats. We started with the Scallops Scampi, which was a delightful combination of light breading and tender scallops. The rolls and butter were incredibly addictive. The Caesar salad was generously topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and had a creamy dressing. For my main course, I opted for the lobster combo, which included a 6-ounce filet, lobster tail, and three shrimp scampi. Why settle for just one when you can have them all? The filet was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a generous scoop of Tony's signature steak butter, which was simply delicious. The lobster tail was equally impressive, whether enjoyed on its own or with a squeeze of lemon and the butter draw they offer. The shrimp scampi had the same breading as the scallops and was just as tasty. Throughout our meal, we couldn't resist trying a few Una Vida shots. As always, they hit the spot perfectly. The server was fantastic and attentive, making sure to keep us well-catered to. He even joined in on our laughter throughout the evening. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience. It was our first time dining at Tony's on Main for dinner, and we're already planning our next visit.

They definitely did not disappoint! From the moment our food came out, everything smelled amazing. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries with the spinach dip, and I absolutely loved the homemade chips that came with it. My kids got kids' meals and enjoyed their food as well. I also ordered a chicken Philly to-go for my son since it was his birthday, which made the visit even more special. Emma was our server, and she was very nice and attentive throughout our meal. I also loved that they have patio seating it's such a nice option, especially on a beautiful day even though we did not sit outside the patio seating we wanted was not open that night. I also liked how they had merchandise to buy while in the restaurant like tees, sweatshirts, bottles of wine . They also cook books for sale in their resturant by another shop we had recently been to called Made by Lia. That was definitely a nice community touch to show how close the area is to their companions! In addition, we had a great first experience and will definitely be back with the rest of the family!

The building does a lot of the work here: an old place sitting in the middle of Old Town Florissant's residential blocks, with a bar, a dining room, a porch, and a patio we didn't get to use (next cool evening, we will). It's charming, and a real asset to that neighborhood. It is also loud. Old plaster, hard surfaces, not enough hung on the walls to absorb any of it. The old fashioned was solid, sweeter than I prefer. Appetizers were the low point: toasted ravioli thick and hard enough to qualify as gum scratchers (filling was fine), flatbread middle of the road. Then the kitchen found its footing. Parmesan-encrusted chicken won the table, with a nice rice-orzo pilaf and green beans that weren't overcooked. The Jameson whiskey burger came blue cheese, bacon, crispy onions, glaze, brioche, and ate dry (although ordered medium): too many rich flavors, nothing acidic to cut through them. Burnt ends mac and cheese was good and rich, but the brisket wasn't tender as I had hoped. We caught a night with only one dessert (a moist Lemon Sunshine cake that tasted like a Dreamsicle) and ice cream to put beside it. Christy took good care of us, efficiently and strictly by the book. 3.7 out of 5 stars Punch up the apps, and bring some balance to some of the entrees and this would bring up my rating to the low 4s. Bring the relatives who flinch at a menu. Acid somewhere on the plate, tender brisket, ice cream by the cake, and something soft on those walls would move this up quickly.
