    Banana fritters 10/10
    Erica M.

This location has the BEST chicken egg rolls. They are always fresh, crispy and delicious. I also love their banana fritters. They offer hot Chinese food options as well but I stick to my chicken egg rolls and banana fritters. When in the area this place is a must. Maybe next time I'll try their sweet and sour chicken as it did look pretty good.

Food is always delicious especially their fried xiu mai and fried rice. Service is also friendly and approachable. The ambiance clean and organized.

Best place for eggrolls and salt and pepper pork spareribs. We always order the party trays. $22 for small white container and $45 for small party tray for pork spareribs. $45.37 for small party tray for eggrolls of 24. I saved $3 from my total of $76 by paying with cash instead of credit card. Credit card is 3% charge. The eggroll was hot when I picked it up and got it to our far destination. Very fresh! We have also tried the Beef and broccoli, spring rolls, xiu mai, fried shrimp balls, veggies.

After reading some reviews, I decided to try this place. I got a combo plate and shrimp dumplings. The total was $21. They used whole cremini mushrooms for the chicken, which I enjoyed but thought the stir fry was a bit raw. The shrimp dumplings were really good as well, 9/10. The chow mein was good and the rice was okay! It was a bit dry. Overall, I like how this was a quick food place. Im not sure if I would come back though, only bc the food didn't really fit my taste buds.

This restaurant does like a Chinese takeout where you select entrees and your side, and it also serves Vietnamese food. From my experience, the food is alright and cheap. It doesn't really stand out much, but at the same time, it doesn't taste bad. I'd say that the fried rice tastes slightly better than the rest of the food. At least the portion sizes are big that I can't even finish the rest, but this seems to be also at the cost of food quality. It's really hot inside here and I thought that this restaurant has much seatings, but when I walked inside, they only have one table with few seats sitting at the edge of the wall. Plus, it's hot outside. No AC especially during the summer time. I wanted to dine-in here but it's not really a good place to do that especially during the summer time. I even asked for a chicken eggroll, but this was a vegetable one? Not sure though since I don't often eat those. Either way, it's fine. It's just Chinese takeout and I don't really expect much. I'd say that the place is fine for eating out during lunch. If you're just hungry, you can swing by to this place.

Stars go to the cleanliness and the nice staff Totally disappointed. Last time i was here was over 20 years ago. I bought 6 chicken egg rolls 6 pork egg rolls I tried the pork egg roll, little protein, mainly cabbage... i had to take a photo because this is NOT what i was expecting. I gave the chicken egg roll in hope thay MAYBE i wasnt lucky with my first one... same results. I had to take a photo. The food was hot yes, but the amount of protein should definitely improve especially when each egg roll is $1.90.

Came to this spot expecting cheap Chinese food as recommended by Reddit. I would say it's not the most cheap seeing that one egg roll is $1.90, and the portions being served didn't seem to be as generous as I've seen from other places like this on social media. If you've gone to Panda Express the portions seem to be about the same size, but you would probably have better quality here. However, I only ordered the spring roll box and it was about $9. For the price it was a good amount of food but not a bargain. The spring rolls were actually pretty good. They had a thin slice of beef in each as well as shrimp and I like that it had some mint.

Egg Rolls- some pork, some chicken...all delicious!

It has been awhile since I've reviewed King Eggroll but I'm still able to give it 5/5. I'm able to get these delicious egg rolls a couple times a year when in town. The egg rolls are perfectly cooked and are one of my favorites. I like all the varieties- pork, chicken, or veggie. The place is always very clean and I like that the employees are efficient. Even if the line looks long it goes quick. They have many other food choices that look great and are ready and available but I only went with egg rolls.

IYKYK. I didn't, but my cousin put me onto this spot. King Eggroll is sick. Not only do they sell eggrolls, but they have an entire section dedicated to all sorts of fried stuff. They do party trays. They also do dim sum. And your regular ole Chinese fare. King Eggroll doing it all. I came out of curiosity, but also because I was in desperate need of a snack. Unfortunately for me, I came at closing time so I didn't have the opportunity to experience anything other than what was left of the eggrolls. Super bummed I couldn't try their shrimp balls, but alas, next time! So obviously it's Asian-y here, however, the eggrolls are not. They're the kind you get at like P.F. Chang's and I'm all about that. The eggrolls are meaty with a perfectly crispy exterior. Slap some sweet and sour sauce on that eggroll and you have yourself the best snack for $1.65 a pop. I think this location is family operated and the service is superb. Even though it was close to closing time, they went ahead and fried up new eggrolls for us since we ordered more than what was left. King Eggroll is a local treasure imo.

Does this location offer fry rice in the party tray size?

    Yes.

Do I need to call ahead to get a tray of eggrolls? I've calling and it always says it's busy.

Yes, you should pre-order trays of food. Otherwise, with eggrolls, they make them fast but I'd guess you wait 10 min. No seating inside and I guess with new owners, they don't care about phone orders? I wrote the poor rating just days ago, the… Read more

I'm torn between ordering a tray of beef broccoli or orange chicken.. has anyone tried both? Which would you recommend? I need to order for a party this weekend.

Depends on your taste preferences, but I personally like the orange chicken better. If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend asking for a sample before you order the party trays!

Is dim sold sold in the evening?

They will be available until sold out

Has anyone used King Eggroll for group events? I need to feed 12 adults. I don't see pricing on the menu for large orders.

Yes, I ordered trays. Easy to feed a lot of people.

Does anyone know what kind of meat is in the Eggrolls? Chicken or pork?

They have options for chicken, pork, or veggie.

Do they accept debit cards or is it still cash only?

This one and the one in Milpitas take credit cards. I paid with credit card today. Don't know about the one over at Story Road.

Will they be open Thanksgiving Day? Thanks.

    YES

Does this location accept credit card?

    THEY DO NOW!!! YAY!!!

    Are the eggrolls vegetarian?

No they are not but I know you can order to make for a tray or so.

Has anyone used King Eggroll to cater a party?

Yes egg rolls and shrimp balls

The atmosphere of SJ Eggrolls is casual, with a huge TV playing sports and minimal decor. The food arrived soon after I ordered. Their signature net egg rolls are phenomenal. I am obsessed with the crunchy net wrapping - it was the perfect crispy texture. The filling of pork and shrimp was savory and delicious. It paired well with lettuce, mint, pickled carrots, and a sweet chili sauce. I loved the spring rolls as well. They tasted super fresh and had a variety of fillings. The Chinese sausage spring roll was my absolute favorite. The salty sausage contrasted well against the clean, fresh vegetables. Every dish was a very good price. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my estimated pickup time and the egg rolls (netted and regular) were ready but the Banh Khot were still being cooked. The estimated pickup time on the website was pretty accurate. Everything made the 35 minute journey and stayed crispy!! The regular egg rolls were tasty but nothing special. The netted egg rolls however, I'd come back for. They were crispy all throughout and the filling was well seasoned. The Banh Khot were very crispy with a nice and pleasant chew from the coconut batter. My husband loved the flavor and texture. I wasn't a huge fan of the coconut flavor being so prominent but I know that's a staple of Banh Khot batter. Next time I'd skip the regular egg rolls but I'm happy I tried them!

Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.

If you can't find parking in that plaza, there's more parking across the road where the Target is. After spending about ten minutes on the written wait-list, our names were called. It's definitely a little easier communicating with much of the staff if you speak Vietnamese, and I find that waiting right outside the restaurant is best because they default to calling your name from the door once it's your turn. The interior is crammed with tables; the atmosphere feels busy and warm. There is a single room women's bathroom and men's bathroom in the back as well. The decor leans toward being classic more than trendy, which I liked. The menu is pretty big, offering a variety of items ranging from mainstream Vietnamese options to ones I don't encounter as often. I recommend eating family-style for many of these dishes, including the Bún Chả Cá Lã Vọng, which I enjoyed with my partner. The prices are pretty average, and their portions are generous. That said, they are cash or Zelle only. There is an ATM that you can use if you forget to bring cash, but this is still something to keep in mind. Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back. I wish I had the stomach capacity to try more of their dishes at once, and I 100% recommend that anyone give this place a shot.

The appetizers were all good and definitely satisfied my craving for Hue-style snacks. Unfortunately, the Bun Bo Hue was disappointing. The broth had a strange flavor and was missing the rich, hearty depth that makes Bun Bo Hue so comforting and memorable. I honestly found it surprising that a restaurant specializing in Hue cuisine would miss the mark on one of its most iconic dishes. Another thing I noticed was that the vermicelli noodles were broken into many small pieces, which made me feel like they weren't particularly fresh. It definitely affected the overall eating experience. Before leaving, I also ordered a banh canh to go. That ended up being really good, though I personally wasn't a fan of the fresh-cut noodles. By the time I got home, they had expanded quite a bit in the broth and became softer than I prefer. Overall, I enjoyed everything except the Bun Bo Hue. The standout dish was the egg rolls. They arrived hot, golden brown, and perfectly crisp, with a satisfying crunch and a flavorful filling that made them the best part of the meal. The food, however, wasn't the reason for my rating. The restaurant's cleanliness left me concerned. I noticed cobwebs that appeared to have been hanging in place for a long time, along with dirt and grime collecting in corners throughout the dining room. Even the menus felt sticky, with a visible film of grease and small food particles still clinging to them. The faded print and worn condition made them look as though they hadn't been replaced in years. Those details created an impression of neglect that made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. With a thorough deep cleaning and some updated menus, this restaurant could create a much more welcoming dining experience. Until then, the cleanliness issues overshadow what was otherwise an average meal.
