(I see my last review here was 10 years ago - holy crap) I got the Torta al Pastor and I can't believe I haven't before. It was delicious! The pan bolillo was fresh and near perfect. The al Pastor was a full flavor, soft and juicy. I didn't use any of their very good and very spicy salsa because it had such a nice flavor by itself. Gotta say I know it's called king torta and that should probably be the best item on the menu but honestly my favorite 2 items are their super nachos and their beef taquitos. The nachos are well prepped with your choice of meat, I always get asada and it's always well cooked and the guacamole is so good in flavor has the perfect spice to it but I still like to add green salsa on top. The taquitos are so simple, just guacamole on top but they are so good, perfect crunch, meat is so good and they are not skimpy with it either or the guacamole... I totally recommend you try them if you have not yet. The only complaint I have is how ridiculous the price of the nachos is $15 bucks.. It's like wow.. I've only had the Asada tortas and the Asada super fries. Both are excellent. The tortas always have enough meat and the bread is always fresh. For about $9, I think it's a good value. What happened here??? Been coming here for years. The taste was off on Asada Torta, had trouble finding any avocado, Way too much onion. Red salsa was not nearly as good as the past. Simply the best! I Love this place, A Torta De Carne Asada and a side of taquitos with their super tasty and spicy Guacamole weekly. I just gotta have it, their Torta Bread is freshly made every morning , the marinated carne asada they use is sooo sooo good! I have been a fan of king Torta since their old place before 20+ yrs. We ordered several tortas for the office lunch. Carne Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor. I'm addition, we had an order of nachos and a Carne Asada burrito. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the avocado sauce atop the nachos. The sauce had a slight spicy kick to it and perfectly tangy. The order was placed at the restaurant and 12 tortas were made in about 15-20 minutes. Fast service and great food. Not too long of a wait at 10:00am. The food here is extremely affordable and made quickly. Service was great, persons are very generous to. I love that they are open early, serving lunch at breakfast hours and vice versa. If you're looking for delicious tortas you found them. Came by on a Sunday evening and had their delicious master piece (asada torta). We also tried the beef taco dorado which was also amazing. Food was five star rating, parking was plenty and service was quick. My only set back was the dinning area upkeep. Seems like no one is as manning the seating area and it was like wipe down your own table as you'd like. The floor had a few pieces of trash. Definitely not a place for a fancy setting but just cleaner would go a long way. The service was fast but not friendly. Definitely a spot to try out ONLY for the food. P.S The tortas are huge! Not everyone likes their food to be picoso. I'm a hardcore Mexican but really hate spicy food bc of a sensitive stomach. I stopped by this Mexican Food spot to pick up some food on my way to work. I ordered a Pastor taco and a Asada Burrito. This is my second time coming to King Torta and I brought my wife to try the Tortas and other kind of Mexican food they make at King Torta. We look at the menu and decided to order I order the torta Carnitas and two carne asada tacos and my wife order a tongue taco and carne asada qesodila. My first impression of carnitas was mixed feeling because my torta looks like a salad not a torta they add too much lettuces. I took a bite it was really the bread was soft and good with refried bean spread on the bread was good. The carnitas was tender and very delicious but I notice it need more flavor in the Carnitas and less lettuces. The carne asada were good but I through it need flavor in the carnitas but I enjoy it. My wife enjoy her tongue taco but she was disappointed on the carne asada and including myself flavors were bland I only taste the cheese that's it the carne asada need more flavors. Overall we did enjoy the food and the service was good but we will come back soo. read more

I went to King Torta on Sunday, September 17, 2023 and the guy at the register was rude and he lied about the total of the sale. He said it was $22 and the receipt said $19.01. He was clearly a thief. I did not review the receipt until I arrived to my home and I was infuriated to see that the receipt had a total of $19.01 and it noted that $19.01 was given at the register. The print on the receipt was faded but the total was clearly not $22. I will not be returning to this establishment. You need to be very careful and look at your receipt after you pay. read more
