    Cheeseburger

I saw this spot on my IG and on the way to a concert, and during Friday's Dodger game, we came here for food. I was very delighted by the experience of trying an LA staple in the heart of Lincoln Heights. It's a very classy place with a long history. You order outside and then pick up your food inside, where they have two TVs, with one of them showing the Dodger game. Since this was the first visit, we kept things simple and got cheeseburgers with chili cheese fries. The burgers were cooked medium and were perfectly juicy, great bun thickness and the ingredients were all there. I really enjoyed the Thousand Island dressing on mine. The Chili Cheese Fries came in their own separate container. It was a decent size for the likes of me. The chili was a little sweet, but hearty and great with the cheese. The fries were cooked all the way through and crunchy. I cant wait to go back and try their chili cheese fries with meat on it. I think when i do that, it'll be the chance to try both chicken and beef with someone else. This spot gets a lot of LAPD here, because they had a lot of plaques so pretty safe place to eat. The guys behind the counter are nice and they cook up pretty much anyhing. We saw a couple people eating breakfast in the evening. Nothing wrong with that. I hear good things about their burritos so that will have to be for a third visit. This wont be the last time i make it out here to Lincoln Heights.

Old school since 1968. I've been driving past this greasy spoon restaurant for years and finally stopped by for dinner with one of my friends. We ordered the chili cheese fries and Dino's chicken plate which comes more fries splashed with their famous red sauce. Two salsas, corn tortillas, and a small container of coleslaw is included. The food was so good and that chili is almost as good as what Tommy's serves. We were stuffed and almost didn't finish the meal.

Make sure to go by for your Doyers towel. And they had plenty of special offers celebrating the dodgers

Food was outstanding! Service.. outstanding. So many options for food! Everything looks amazing! Been around since 1968. Met the owner who was the son of the original. Super nice guy. Everyone stopped to shake is hand, including the local police department! He recommended the chicken next time. A definite recommendation!

This is a place I've been wanting to go to. I convinced my gf to get something there so she did. It was takeout so it was a pick up. The place itself looks like a whole in the wall... but that isn't a bad thing at all in fact it's what makes it a great place. Service was real quick even though it was online order (through doordash). Now let's get to the food: * my girlfriend ordered the breakfast burrito (no beans). Her words, "it was good. Aiight. Could have used salsa." I probably didn't ask for it so that's on me. * her daughter ordered the 420 meal. It was supposed to be an order of 3 chicken tenders, 3 mozzarella sticks, tater tots, zucchini fries, onion rings, and regular fries. It was missing the mozzarella sticks. My assumption is someone who is high would have ordered this and probably wouldn't notice. She wasn't and she noticed. * I had the Mobbb fries (photo below). Unbelievable, I'll say. The carne asada, chicken and pastrami was incredible on it. The online order doesn't give you the option to order the small so I got the large. Did I finish it? You bet I did. Waste not. It was delicious and would order it again.

The food here isnt what it used to be. Their prices have been inconsistent for me for some time, Ive kept going for my son and brother. Today grossed me out and is ny last straw. The man who takes payment is rude and I have found hair in ny chicken plate under the fries.

This diner is definitely value packed and I plan to return to try more menu items! I came for breakfast on Christmas Eve and had the "Hungry Guy" Breakfast plate. I had 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, hash browns, and 3 French toast (6 slices) for $14.99 in dtLA! The portion was huge! They also have an extensive menu so there's something for everyone. Definitely perfect for a quick lunch bite. Food and service are prompt. Indoor seating is available. However, this it's an older building with old school diner vibes and more fast food-esque in ambiance. Not very picturesque if you're looking for a brunch spot with the gals. There is a parking lot onsite.

Arrived early in the morning the staff was friendly and attended us quickly. Food was fresh and came out quickly. The establishment was clean. The tables were clean. The food was tasty. We ordered the Cali Caliente chicken burritos and Dino P breakfast burrito. Both of my kids ate the whole thing. At the price point, the portions are good. The owner was there early and doing rounds, making sure that the clients were doing well and provided us with personalized service thank you very much much

Please check your food I asked the guy for sauce and I trusted them, we drove home and what happened no sauce.

The food is pretty good, sometimes your order gets taken in line by someone and they give you a ticket to take up to the window (drive thru).

We dined at Dino's ,is nearby my friends place. This is a very colorful Neiborhood even at night., I've dined at the 'other Dinos' on Pico & didn't have the 'orange chicken', it was a hamburger & not that good.... I don't know what time it was, but the dining room was closed & would not allow us there, they were cleaning up, understandable. I ordered avocado burger combo. my friend had breakfast eggs, toast & hashbrowns. also chili fries (she took home) My combo was good, HUGE order of fries( enough for 2) not much avo, meat was very fibrous ,chewy strange texture ? My friends breakfast was good, she had no complaints. In all it was a reasonable $25 for all that food. I love the throwback..... next visit, I can review the dining room. I look forward to the Dinos visit in '25. Would have given 5 stars if not for the mystery meat burger & a teaspoon size of avo.....

BLAND CHICKEN. The only thing Dino s about this is the color.

GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Tasty burgers and a must try for sure if your around! Cheers!

I ordered the signature Goldburger and decided to add pastrami! Look at that! It's sliced thin and comes across kind of like a mound of bacon, melts in your mouth along with the rest of the burger. Very interesting combination it comes highly recommended! We went with curly fries cuz we are from the Midwest and there are no Arby's out here lol but I opted to grab a side of their classic sauce, which ROCKS! It was so good I was pouring it on the last few bites of my burger. Do yourself a favor and get some classic sauce and pour that stuff right on your burger, you won't be disappointed! Check it out!!

I would say yes. The meat and the buns are very high quality. The DH burgers costs a stiff $21 but it's a huge fat patty, caramelized onions, cheese, and a little sloppy with the burger sauce (but in a good way). The meat is very juicy and flavorful. It is a delicious beast. The rest of the burgers they offer are smash burgers (single for $10) and the quality of the meat and buns are excellent. That is a very good price for this burger. We tried the cheese fries, too, and they were very nice. They are ordinary looking fries with house made cheese melted throughout them. For $8, you get a huge pile of them and plenty to share. They weren't extraordinary but they were still very good. The sauce is not incredibly flavorful but I liked it well enough. You will probably wait a while after you order so settle in. If you are wanting a better tasting burger with pretty much thr same ingredients, I would suggest The Shack in Playa Del Rey. The fries here got soggy because of how they put them in the bag. It's unfortunate that there is no where to sit and that's why the fries get soggy. Let's now talk about the process. They accidentally messed my order by missing fries. Not the end of the world but in order for them to correct their mistake, I had to take all the food they put in the bag and give it back to them. That means while I waited over 25 minutes for my order, I had to wait longer for them to see what's in the bag to see the mistake. Who is to say that if I was crooked, I would simply remove the fries from the bag. What this ultimately means is that now my family is eating colder food. I didn't even bother for the fries anymore since I didn't want to either have my food get colder or wait another 20 minutes for them to remake all the food. I simply wouldn't go back. I do hope they stay around because we are losing small business but the owners should really reconsider the policy for missing food.
