everything was delicious - we tried the sesame chicken, orange chicken, shrimp lo mein and crab wontons! the restaurant was about 1/3 full which was decent for a Thursday.. with that being said it was pretty slow getting food and drinks. additionally there were many tables that needed cleaned off but the staff was too busy to do so.

Wah is right! Zero flavor and the tofu was limp and not firm. My son got the honey walnut shrimp and the sauce is like mashed potatoes. The walnuts were soft and rotten. Won't go here again!

Barely any lettuce. Basically just noodles and shrimp. Authentic spring rolls should be shrimp and pork, basil, mint, lettuce and noodles.

All the people giving this place five stars obviously don't know what Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese food is suppose to taste like. Obviously this is a family run business that is seriously under staffed all the time. Wait times are long for pickup or dine in. Pros: only Chinese food around for miles. If you need a fix and don't want to drive it'll do the job and the price is decent. Cons: waiting too long for mediocre food is not ok. There is a reason the restaurant is not packed on a Friday night. Adding more menu items doesn't solve your problem. Your problem is the service, speed, and quality of food that comes out. While I was eating I overheard another customer get charged for gratuity for a party of 3 and they didn't apologize at all but tried to explain it. This was my 3rd time there and after the long waits on all 3 occasions and mediocre food it will take just as long for me to drive to Broomfield or Thornton for better Chinese food. Advice: pick the best items from your menu and be good at it. Improve your service and food presentation then customers should come back.

Previously, we had only had take-out once from King Wah, and with more traditional Chinese dishes; sesame chicken and some version of a Triple Delight (spicy Chicken, Pork and Shrimp). My guy seemed to like his okay, I wasn't super pleased with mine but we decided to give them another shot, this time with samples from their other asian offerings: Thai and Vietnamese. What we got: Thai Spring Rolls - Good, the sauce was a little different from other places but tasty Pad Thai - Nice portion size and seemingly more affordable than the competition but a more tomato-y and less peanut-y than traditional Chicken Pho - Medium size was still a very generous portion, more than enough for dinner and leftovers for an additional meal. A bit bland, but easily customizable with all the fixin's provided The service was just ok. Not super friendly but attentive enough without hovering. Overall I'd say the food was good, the service was ok. We'll likely be back...eventually.

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

The menu was recently refreshed and it shows. The mushroom paella was loaded and perfectly cooked, the burrata was a solid start, and the Turkish pizza with halloumi was a surprise standout. The poached cod was also great, especially the sauce. The drinks were just as strong. The L5 margarita with salt foam was really good, and even the frosé, which I usually skip, worked perfectly here. The vibe is a big part of it. The downtown views are hard to beat and the patio is easily one of the better ones in the city. Inside also feels intentional and well designed. Service was excellent. Avery was our server and it was her first day, which you wouldn't have guessed. Carl and Mark also made the experience feel smooth and welcoming. For dessert, the Lisbon chocolate cake and Turkish kunefe were both great. The Basque cheesecake and lobster salad also stood out and had those memorable bites that stick with you. Overall, a really strong experience and definitely a place worth making a reservation for.

This is a breakfast and light lunch spot with counter ordering and lots of takeout. However, if you dine in you receive real, solid silverware, linen napkins, and quality porcelain cups which really elevate the experience. There's seating for about 25 inside plus space for another ten outside. A large handicap ramp takes up a lot of the outdoor space, but provides excellent access. There's a good selection of baked goods and pastries, a wide selection of coffee drinks, a cooler with an interesting variety of sodas and healthy drinks, plus cocktails, wine, and beer. There are some breakfast plates, salads, soup, and sandwiches. There were a number of discrepancies between the Web site and the current offerings. That's always disappointing and leads me to think management is not on top of operations. A number of basic items were also unavailable. My girlfriend tried the Curry Bird which is curried chicken and turkey salad with sultanas, celery, red onion, and lettuce on a house-made croissant. She loved it and ate up every bite. I did not fare so well with my Woody Wood: house-roasted turkey, bacon, smashed avocado, tomato, lettuce, swiss cheese, cranberry relish, and tarragon aioli on ciabatta. That certainly sounds delicious. It was not. I don't like sandwiches that are served on totally dry bread and that was this. Not a hint of cranberry relish or tarragon aioli, much less butter, mayo, mustard, oil or anything else. The ciabatta was delicious, but dry as the Sahara. The staff was able to provide some mayo packets and that helped a bit. The turkey was dry and tasteless. House-roasted? Maybe by Hormel or Sysco. I needed a magnifying glass to find the bacon. "Smashed Avocado" is not the same as unseasoned guacamole that has been sitting out for far too long. To top it off, an unripe tomato and some sort of cheese that was certainly not Emmental. A very basic, ordinary supermarket sandwich, despite the good bread. Not what I expected. This is not the Olive & Finch I remember. Management has really dropped the ball.
