Immediately 1 minute after sitting down we were greeted, and our order was taken within 3 minutes of us getting there. Our food came out in just 10 minutes, and the portions are amazing for the price. 5/5 stars I'd def come again. Food is so good and plates are so heavy you need two hands for hold it. Only like $14-$15 for a big plate too, cannot find that at many places nowadays.

First off the flys in the outside seating tables were so annoying! Little buggers wouldn't leave me alone. Put up a fly trap strip already. Simple order of Teriyaki steak came out extremely slow. Place was not busy at the time. Staff seemed to be wandering around. Beef was good rices was good. Mac salad was bitter.

Such a great spot! The teriyaki chicken is so good--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The honey walnut shrimp was a standout too: crispy, creamy, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. The new owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You can tell they really care about the food and the customers. Everything was fresh, portions were generous, and service was quick. We'll definitely be back--highly recommend if you're craving solid Chinese food with great vibes.

Huge portion, low price, and alright taste. We stayed around S Kihei so hung out in the area quite a lot and King's was one of the few restaurants that actually opened later. Their foods were mostly below $15 with a variety of options. It was not the best tasting, but at the same time, not bad. The portion was shockingly large lol. Chao Fun was a lot, a little more on a blander side. A solid option is Tonkatsu (can't go wrong with that) which comes with rice and macaroni salad. The couple selling was very efficient and nice. They are a few outdoor settings. All in all, I would not say add King's to your list, but maybe a choice if you have nothing to eat late at night

Great food! Open later than most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed it so much, went back the next night and tried a different plate!

Authentic Asian-Hawaiian fusion. The portions are massive and two people can easily share one meal.

Noodles and Rice is located in Kihei. There is plenty of parking (free). There is a single-room bathroom for customers. Super clean! The restaurant is impeccably tidy. There was not a speck of dust or a single water stain in sight. Well done! Plenty of seating inside. Very inviting, cozy space. Perfect for late night noodles (and rice)! The staff were extraordinary friendly and kind. The pho was delicious! The Thai chili oil is quite spicy, but tasty too. I wish we were hungrier because their appetizers look good. We will return if we're ever back on-island!

RESERVATIONS: Not needed. PARKING: Free & plentiful. MENU: Vietnamese apps, noodle & rice selections, desserts. FOOD: Crispy Tiger Shrimp (4 pcs.) Sizable, peeled shrimp that needed to be cooked more as they visually and texturally tasted a tad rare. The coating was light and crispy but needed more seasoning as they relied on the included dipping sauce for flavor. Lettuce Wrap Romaine innards provided for the perfect vessel for the ground chicken, though the poultry needed a serious flavor oomph. Special Pho The pictures, especially the dark-hued broth, looked so good, I had to try it. This was my first ever beef pho and it was very disappointing. First off, the broth was not hot, a serious flaw for me. Secondly, the flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy the tender slices of meat, especially the meatballs. I wished my carb overload didn't go to waste, but it did. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and welcoming. Food delivery was quick. Wait staff were friendly but there was no follow up. TIP: There's an automatic gratuity for kitchen staff and a surcharge for using credit cards. OVERALL: Meh.

The roast duck was really good actually. The general tsao's chicken and chicken lettuce was good, I've definitely been to other spots that were better but I don't have anything bad to say about it. What I really disliked about this place was the Seafood Bird's Nest. Initially, they thought I ordered a Seafood Delight, but my order was missing the noodles. But they basically just fried up some noodles real quick and threw it under. And that part wouldn't have been a problem for me, but it was honestly waaaay too salty (and I like really salty! so that says a lot to me) It was difficult to eat to be honest, but I of course didn't want to waste it. The seafood included 3 pieces of shrimp, about a stick of imitation crab meat, a couple small pieces of scallop, and A LOT of calamari pieces that were soooo tough to chew, we couldn't even really eat them! For the chicken lettuce, they gave us about 3 full pieces of lettuce that was cut up and then charged us $4.00 for more pieces of lettuce which is pretty pricey lol. The siu mai was mid.. but you get what you pay for. There was also a 3% additional kitchen surcharge which was weird...? Still not sure what that was for lol. And then on top of that there's another 3% charge if you use credit card, so just be aware of that. The service was fine, because there was basically no one else in the restaurant anyway. Also - my boyfriend told me they had no soap in the restroom at all which was inconvenient. Overall, the price of their food does not make sense for the level of quality. I wouldn't recommend to my peers to come here, except maybe just grab their roast duck to go.

I had Thai-Railway Fried Rice, which has diced, cooked NY steak chunks, in a bed of brown rice, as well as peas, carrots, scallions, Maui onions (yum!), with an egg over easy on top, with toasted onions. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.

All dishes were delicious, full of flavour in every bite. Our whole family enjoyed every dish. The portions are good size and the prices were ok! The servers kept to themselves. Once you get your food, they only show up with your bill and ask you how the meal was. When you view your bill, you are automatically charged 18% tip for the meal, which was a little bit of a turn off considering the service you were getting is very little.

They serve the food family-style but still high-end which was exactly what we were going for so we were not disappointed. Food came out a little slower than expected and by the time our Korean fried chicken main course came out we were almost full and had to take it togo. The restaurant itself is quite tiny with limited indoor seating, bar seating, and a stretch of patio seating. We were seated at the bar and had two various experiences with the two bartenders that were looking after us - the gentleman who was the bartender was extremely kind and attentive. He was engaging and made small talk with us. The female bartender was quite rude and cold, and I debated removing a star for her poor attitude and service skills. Service aside, my husband and I decided to try a few different items, including the Szechuan garlic noodles, pickled cucumbers, aji tamago, and Lion's Mane salad. All four dishes had wonderful flavor and were the perfect amount to share and leave full without being overwhelmed. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of spice. All in all, it was a tasty meal, but they definitely need to work on their consistency with employee service.
