They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.

We then had a flood (lucky us) the insurance approved carpet replacement in the whole home. Great. However, they delivered and installed the wrong carpet. I could tell it was a cheap imitation and luckily I had the sample and the original carpet leftovers. This new carpet fibers were not woven the same, not as dense and when I reached out to the install manager, he came over and said the carpet was correct. This AH ignored my calls and emails for MONTHS! I sent macro photos of the carpet strands showing a huge difference in density and weave. Also the new carpet was scratchy. Our original carpet was silky and plush. He did the ol switcharoo with .99 builders grade BS. The carpet we got was (I believe) $7.99 sqft. I found the regional manager on linked in and sent an email asking what was up. Along with that, I attached every single communication to this install manager and a call log of missed calls to his number. Suffice it to say the regional manager emailed me straight away and the install manager got the problem fixed within a week. This was a six month ordeal... I will never trust them again. If you bought expensive carpet and your carpet is wearing, I'd go get samples of the carpet you chose and compare fibers. My guess is that what they did isn't uncommon.

The staff seem to understand and know the product very well. I have been helped by a few people. Most recently I've been working with Mark Smith, who you see in the photos. I have appreciated his knowledge and integrity. That is why I will return why I would certainly recommend them. Between his integrity and knowledge and the ample selection of products Because I have not hired them, a four for the overall seems most fair. Also we had some challenges months back on wood floor quote miscommunication but that was Not Mark. They have been extremely busy and that out some strain on the staff who could have used more folks. They tore out our outdated "breakfast counter" and the demo was done in one day. I've never experienced such clean demo work -- they did NOT make a HUGE mess like other groups have done with other projects. Their tile templater sized everything perfectly so that all pieces fit with no waste. They installed the sinks and faucets we purchased quickly and everything works as they should. They had the backsplash tile I wanted in stock and those installers did beautiful work as well.
