I took my order to-go, but the clean, bright dining room with music playing makes it a comfortable spot if you decide to dine in. I went with the BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was excellent. Perfect amount of chicken, cheese, and BBQ sauce. It leans a little toward a bar-pie style. The crust has a nice crunch but is just a touch softer, which actually worked really well with the toppings. Highly recommend, and Ill definitely be stopping back in. read more

I have been going to Kinston Pizza off and on for 30 years but have never been to this location. Well the RI Food Fights Lord of the Pies gave me a reason to try it. I went in on a Monday night and they were pretty busy. However, the greeted me and took my order quickly. My choices for the competition were their margherita or the bbq chicken. I went with the bbq chicken. I sat and waited for about 20 mins (a reasonable wait for a pizza on a busy night). I was the only customer at the few tables they have - take out being the popular option on this night. I got the pizza home and it was very good. Plenty of chicken and a nice bbq sauce that wasn't overpowering. The crust was pretty good. All in all, a pretty good option in the South County area. (It's should be noted that they have a lot of specialty pizza options. If you are looking for something a bit more adventurous that and cheese and pepperoni pizza, Kingston Pizza may be what you are looking for. read more

The pizza is so delish! It is thin thin style with minimal sauce. Crust is not crunchy and good to dip in sauce. It is small on the inside but you can definitely eat inside. The chicken strips are good breading and inside. Easy to pick up bottled drinks from their commercial fridge. Prepackaged ice cream like Ben & Jerry's and items from the ice cream truck are available too! read more

The worst eggplant parm sub ever!! Wow I was so psyched to get it, even called back to make sure it had cheese. First the guy told me it would be 45 mins. When I actually sat and opened the sun, it was pathetic, totally dry. Hardly any Tomato sauce, I was hoping For gooey cheese, instead two have triangles glued to the bread not even melted. I got a Buffalo chicken calzone and it was insanely good. Over the years I've had perfectly fine food from here- basic pizza, nothing amazing but nothing wrong. This calzone was VERY good though and I'm very surprised by all the bad reviews. I ordered on a Monday night so maybe weekends are a bit crazy for them and hard to keep up? Tonight, my boyfriend accidentally called this location instead of the one closest to us so instead of leaving the pizza there, I came and picked it up because that was our error. I get home 10 minutes later and the pizza has peppers and not pepperoni on it. I call you and offered a pizza remade but say I don't want that as I just drove to and from there. I hate giving out 1 star reviews but this place is just constantly bad. I've been to many of the other locations, some equally as disappointing, none as awesome as the Middletown location. The subs here take the guy FOREVER to make. I've sat in there for over 20 minutes while no other customers were there just waiting on a sandwich. The guy cashes you out as soon as you order, looks to see how much you tip him, then makes your food shitty even if you tip well. It's like the guy moves in slow motion or something. The chicken fingers are complete garbage compared to other locations. Here they give you the cheap frozen ones you can buy yourself and cook in your toaster oven, no homemade honey mustard either. They gave us nasty old ken's. The pizza is by far the worst part about this place. The picture I uploaded wasn't a one time thing, it always looks like this and I'm at a loss for why. The pizza is good, but the place is run horribly. People were walking in after 2 hours waiting for their delivery... and they shut the phones off when it gets busy. My friend ordered her pizza well done but they messed it up and left it in too long so I had to sit and wait for an extra 30 min so they could remake it. There is no other pizza close by in this ridiculous town so they know they can get away with anything. Thank god we don't live here anymore lol. read more

It was kind of late, and places nearby were closing so this pizza place was pretty much our only option. I walked in and ordered two small pies. The place smelled great when I arrived so that right away was a relief and was feeling pretty good about our choice. The pies were done in about 10-15mins and the pizza maker was professional and courteous. We all enjoyed the pizza...it was very good New England style pizza. Kingston Pizza always brings back memories of my college days at URI. It has always been my late night go to fare. Pizza is always good and fresh. The dough is a little crisp so I usually go with a double crust. The "735-I Beemer" with pepperoni & onions and "Testerosa" speciality pizzas are a family favorites. There is quality in ingredients, for example their pepperoni here is real, not thin pink disks of mysterious origins. Kingston Pizza has a pretty wide menu variety but I suggest, for freshness sake, sticking with high turn over items: pizza, calzones, grinders, and wings. They have several locations around the state with most open till about 1am-2am. And being that they are a local RI chain, food is pretty consistent across locations. Overall, when in pinch for dinner or craving a late night snack, Kingston Pizza is a great choice. read more

We've gotten the pizza before, and the yellow cheese is supposed to be a drizzle. This god forsaken slop (can't even call it pizza) was DROWNED in the yellow cheese as if the recipe called for a pound of this stuff. Ordered food at 9:15 online.. prepaid with a 20% tip.. said it would come at 10:15.. gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited til 10:30 to call and ask what's up. Absolutely unacceptable. Ordered online from the Wickford location at 7:30 at night for a socially distant birthday. I received an email that my order was received and being prepared. After waiting 2 hours I called the number that was in my confirmation email and I find out the order went to the Bonnet location, which I thought was odd. I'm then told at 9:30 pm that my kid's birthday meal is "on the way" and I subsequently receive an email saying that my order is out for delivery. I wait 1 more hour and after still no pizza, I call back at 1030 and ask where my food is. At that point I'm told that they don't actually deliver to my location, the Wickford location that does is closed, and there is nothing they can do. If I'd been told an hour prior when I called the first time, or better yet received an email or notification that they couldn't deliver, I could have salvaged birthday dinner. Instead, the manager at the Bonnet location offers a gift card and a refund, and makes no effort to actually make it right..... even though the location is open for another 2+ hours. After getting frustrated and sharing that I'm going to leave a review of my experience, I'm told that they "edit their reviews" so he's not too worried about it. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Multiple opportunities to correct the situation and Kingston Pizza actually went out of their way to make it worse. Never asked for a break on the price, if anything wanted to spend money at a local restaurant.
