The sushi is good but 56 minutes (yes I timed it, I have OCD) to get 4 rolls of sushi, when there are 3 people in the restaurant is not only impossible, but had to be done on purpose. Two chefs, 4 rolls and 2 pieces of sushi cannot possibly take 50 min. I beg you do not go to this place if it was busy. Like I said, 3 people in the restaurant. Such a shame since it was so good. I'm surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews! This is a great place with some of the freshest fish I've had! The service is great as well. In additional to the fish, I really enjoyed the calamari salad, something you can't find in a lot of sushi places. If you are looking for something flashy (e.g., setting onion rings on fire), this is not the place for you. I was really looking forward to trying this place, because I heard such good things about it via online reviews. Service was really good, and they offered lollipops to my daughter and her friend. Their spicy mayo was more mayo than spice. The sashimi was okay, not fishy, but not as good as my favorite sushi place in Alpharetta. The roll I got was just okay too. It was a lava volcano roll, and the flavor was kinda bland. They did have a tuna tower, which is unique and it tasted the best, but it was very small for $8. All in all, I'd probably go back if I wanted to go somewhere close, but not my top choice. read more

My only complaint is that the receipts aren't itemized so when I thought something was missing in the order I couldn't check to see if I was charged for it or not. I had chili for lunch today. All afternoon, I had this vague craving. "What could it be?" As 7:00 came around, the craving crystallized into a need for tekka maki and miso soup. This restaurant is owned by the same people that own Sushikita in Suwanee, which is one of my local holing up places. Tonight, I decided, I would check out whether any differences might show up for an interesting review. I had tekka maki, a soul-soothing bowl of miso soup, some goma ae, and some tempura shrimp. All was small-Japanese- restaurant-locally-owned good. Nobody throwing knives, no bursts of flame, no broth with two mushroom slices, and no fwied wice.
