this is a good place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch to enjoy by yourself, as a duo, or a small group! it's a pay before you sit down type of restaurant. luckily there was no line when i went. you get your food within about 20-30 minutes and with it being a weekday, the service was a little slow. i had to ask for utensils that didn't come with our food and had to go up to the counter to ask for extra plates after not receiving them when i asked. regardless of slow service, the workers were always so kind every time i interacted with them and i just understood that it's probably not as well staffed on a weekday compared to a weekend! since i went a little later in the day, a few items were sold out so definitely go earlier for items like the steak and eggs or shakshuka. the french toast was so delicious. probably my favorite item and the sweetness was the perfect amount without being way too sweet. they offer butters, jams, and syrups on the side if you want to add more. the loaded fries were yummy but i wish the fries itself were crispier to last longer against the sauce and cheese since it got soggy quickly. the loco moco was decent, the eggs were cooked perfectly but the beef patty was just okay and there wasn't that much gravy compared to other loco moco's i've had in the past. overall, good place to eat at. i would definitely come back to try out other food items since they have so many fusion breakfast/brunch/lunch items! i do think their sweet items may be better than their savory items. for the drinks, i loved the banana biscoff latte so much. it had a strong biscoff flavor with a subtle banana flavor and the espresso was very balanced with the sweetness of the drink. the strawberry matcha was more like strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. would definitely choose the lattes over matcha here!
This is a Korean inspired breakfast/brunch spot. Definitely an awesome find, there were so many different drinks and dishes that I wanted to try! I opted for the galbijjim eggs benedict, since I have never seen an eggs benedict using the galbijjim meat. It was so tender and tasted amazing with the hollandaise and poached egg. Everything was cooked perfectly! We also shared the ube brulee brick french toast, which was super pretty, but not much ube. I think if they add ube to the custard or even thicken the syrup and add ube in the drizzle, then that might make it more true to the name. But otherwise it was delicious and a good dish to share between the table instead of a main dish. The Big Breakfast Plate was perfect for my husband and kids to share, since it's plenty of food with three different proteins! I ordered the Dubai chocolate latte to drink, but it wasn't really anything special. When it came out, it just looked like a regular latte. I could tell they just used a pistachio syrup, so I was just hoping there was going to be a little bit more to it, like toppings or a cream on top. The drink flavors sounded so good so I'm hoping I just ordered a bad one. Service was really great, and I definitely would come back again despite the drink being a little less than favorable!
I will start off by saying the item I had planned on getting was no longer on the menu, so that was a bummer. I ended up going with the brisket burrito and I was not a fan of it. It was not what I was expecting, and was VERY sweet. :( The marshmallow treat I got was delicious, though. Everyone elses food looked really good, and their salsa was good! We were not offered refills on coffee until we were getting up to leave. It was an interesting experience, not sure if I would rush back but if I do return I will definitely try something else. Parking was ok during the early morning but seems as if it can get scarce during busy times.
If you're looking for a spot that nails both the aesthetic and the flavor, Kitch Coffee & Cuisine is it. I recently had a meal here, and every dish was a standout. The Highlights: Soufflé Pancakes: These are the stars of the show. Incredibly fluffy, light, and airy--they practically melt in your mouth. Topped with fresh strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar, they are as delicious as they are "Instagrammable." Breakfast Burrito: This is a hearty, well-executed classic. It's packed with high-quality ingredients, perfectly toasted on the outside, and served with a side of salsa verde that adds just the right amount of kick. Matcha Latte: Not only was the heart-shaped latte art beautiful, but the matcha itself was high-grade--vibrant, smooth, and not overly sweet.
My friends, family & I have come here a couple times already and love it. Kitch has so many food options, so it's good for a group of people - if everyone wants to try something different (sweet, savory, etc). Love that you can order either with the cashier or through the app at your table you're sitting at. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The workers there are always so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend visiting Kitch Cafe! It's a super cute place.
I've passed by this place a few times when trying out other spots in this plaza and its always packed when I pass by. Finally had a chance to check it out and I love that there's outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we went inside, ordered and went outside to sit. We got the nutella souffle pancake, the biscoff banana brulee brick french toast (a mouthful lol), the breakfast smashburger & brisket breakfast burrito. The food was good but nothing that made me say "WOW I gotta come back". If i was already in the area & didn't have any other place I want to try then maybe i'd come back, but I think i'm okay with coming here once.
We are looking a place for bunch and this place pop up. It was pack on a Tuesday 11am, so I have high expectation. Unfortunately, food and drink are just average, if not below. We ordered coconut cloud matcha and banana matcha. The coconut drink was like coconut water with no flavor of matcha and the banana matcha taste only match and no banana flavor. In term of food, the spicy pork belly taco is well seasoning, but lack of spicy. I wish they added some type if slaw on top, it would enhance the dish. Kimchi fried rice on the side was are lack of depth. The waffle from Nutella waffle tasted old and not freshly made. We have to ask for our utensils since there isn't any around. The positive thing of this place is that they have extended menu so maybe we just didn't order it right. Our cashier seems also seems friendly. This place deserve 2.5 stars but we rounding it up to 3.
Really wanted to like this place but it's brunch food was unfortunately subpar. We ordered a kalbi Benedict and brisket burrito and both were so sad... the Benedict's poached egg was really running and undercooked, and its muffin was not really toasted. And the burritos rice was also undercooked. We waited more than 20 mins for our food and everything was undercooked. The manager did apologize and comp us Nutella fluffy pancake, really nice of them. The sitting area was nice and chill, and we were able to walk to Barnes Nobles right after brunch which is a huge plus. The tallow fries were pretty good though, and although we haven't tried their coffee they seemed good too.
Went here for brunch and ordered the Galbi Jim Eggs Benedict with tallow fries , original soufflé pancakes, and their banana biscoff latte. Presentation was excellent, service friendly and quick, overall taste of food was heavy on flavor. Get ready to overload your taste buds. The Galbi Jim Benedict was a bit salty and tallow fries super salty, soufflé pancakes was a bit dense with a milky flavor, and the banana biscoff latte was a sweet-cookie drink. I enjoyed the Asian fusion angle of this place and will return to try their other unique dishes.
I had the best soufflé pancakes when I was in Kyoto recently. As soon as I came back home, I wanted to eat more! Kitch Cafe had them on their menu, so I stopped by for brunch to satisfy my cravings. They have three flavors to choose from. I got the matcha, which is supposed to be topped with blueberries and powdered sugar. Definitely came with a lot of sugar, though the fruit was mysteriously absent. Besides that, the pancakes were fairly fluffy and paired well with the sweet cream. I also got to try the Biscoff Banana French Toast, which was enjoyable as well. The Korean braised rib (Kalbi Jjim) Eggs Benedict was too salty. If you order this, make sure you request adjustments when you're at the register. Lots of interesting fusion menu options to try overall. Good amount of seating inside and out.
Stopped by after hearing great things about this spot. The location is nice, and the outdoor seating area has great views, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered two strawberry matchas and two bacon burritos and grabbed a table outside. The wait ended up being longer than expected, and we noticed a couple of guests who ordered after us received their food and drinks first. However, the staff apologized for the delay and generously brought out pancakes on the house, which was a very thoughtful gesture and definitely made up for the wait. The bacon burritos were worth the price! I'd give them an 8/10. The strawberry matchas were also very good, another 8/10. The complimentary pancakes were fluffy and tasty as well, around a 7/10. Aside from the longer wait time, this is a very solid spot. I'd come back to try more items on the menu.
I came because I wanted a coffee/matcha. I got matcha strawberry and waited for lunch time while I worked a bit. I looked at the menu and saw so many things that caught my eyes. I might have been way too hungry and was going to get the Chinese chicken salad but I was debating between that and the burrito. An employee asked if I had any questions because I had almost finished my matcha and was working. I asked which of the two items he recommended and said the burrito! I had no regrets! He even told me to try it with the salsa. It was so delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi too. My boyfriend had half my burrito and asked where did I get this from because we've never had anything like it. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Adorable fast-casual cafe with great food. Took my niece out for a bday brunch here and we really enjoyed it. A former Rubio's, the restaurant had a cute ambiance with plentiful seating inside and out--we opted to dine alfresco, as the weather was very nice that morning. We ordered: - Steelhead trout toast (generous helping of fish on crisp multigrain toast) - Avocado omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast (simple but fresh and well-made) - Matcha pancake stack (wonderfully eggy and fluffy, with awesome matcha cream topping) - Drip coffee (rich and flavorful) The service was very friendly and prices reasonable for the quality--we're definitely coming back. read more

This place was nice. Very relaxed vibes where you can order upfront or from your seat with the QR code provided. The wait for food was about 15 minutes but portion wise they don't skimp out! I got the Bacon Breakfast Burrito and it was really filling. Flavor wise it was a bit bland and needed a tad bit more salt or pepper. Depending on time it can busy. I went on a Sunday around 10 AM where it was busy then became slow and picked up again at 11 AM. Attending to the tables I feel needed more work. At one point, I saw 3-4 tables that needed to be cleaned but thankfully there were no customers who needed to sit. read more

French toast is a must! It had the perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors. We expected it to be too sweet, so we asked for the sauce on the side but it turned out just right on its own! On the other hand, the chimichurri burrito was mediocre. The "chimichurri" sauce tasted nothing like chimichurri.. it was more like a green salsa. Also wish the tortilla was more crispy. Kitch Cafe is a cute Korean brunch spot with cozy vibes and an aesthetically pleasing setup--perfect for a casual brunch outing. This was my second visit, and overall, I'd say the food is solid, though there are a few inconsistencies. I've tried the Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict and the Banana Biscoff Brick Toast on both visits. The first time, I came with a group of friends and really enjoyed the food--it was flavorful and well-presented. This time, I visited around 9:30 AM on a Sunday and ordered the Biscoff Banana Toast again, only to realize halfway through that there were no bananas on it. I'm guessing they either ran out or forgot to add it, but either way, a heads-up would've been appreciated. It's a small detail, but it makes a difference--especially when the banana is part of the name. As for drinks, I've tried both their matcha and coffee on separate visits, and unfortunately, I'd say they're a miss. They lack the depth and quality you'd expect from a café that puts effort into its food. My strawberry matcha was missing the strawberry jam that you could see in their other yelp pictures. I could see some strawberry seeds and taste a hint of strawberry but that was it. Overall, the food (when done right) is enjoyable, and I'd come back for the dishes. But if you're looking for a good drink to pair with brunch, you might want to grab one elsewhere. read more

After seeing an ad advertising the bogo dinner meals, I decided to make the trip to Kitch Cafe. The cafe is a casual style sit-down where you order and pay at the counter. Water and utensils are self service, and the bright atmosphere makes this cafe a nice area to sit down and eat with friends. There is also an outdoor patio area to enjoy the warm weather. For my 2 meals, I ordered their meatloaf and their chimichurri smoked tri-tip. Meatloaf, 2.5/5: For the portion size, it's on the smaller size, akin to a lunch portion rather than dinner size. I could taste fires were fried in tallow, as advertised, but there were multiple burnt ends that leaves a bitter taste to an otherwise decent fry. The meatloaf was savory, moist, and meaty, but it was otherwise one note. I couldn't taste the advertised smoky flavors, and the spices used were mild. The onion-mushroom gravy added umami, but I wish there was more mushroom to add texture. The salad was mostly arugula with hardly any salad dressing. Smoked tri-tip plate, 2.5/5: The fries and salad were the same as described above. The portion size was also very modest for a dinner plate. The tri-tip was savory but i couldn't taste any smoky flavors. The steak was also chewy and difficult to cut with the provided butter knife. The chimichurri sauce was also a tad too acidic for how lean tri-tip is. Overall, I am glad to have tried this place and really did enjoy the overall vibe. However, the multiple small issues did pile up for me and left me wanting for more. read more

I love both of them! It so yum! I got Kalbi Jim Eggs Benedict Sandwhich this one is soo good! The meat was soo tasty and soft with the runny eggs! Perfect combination. It was delicious! Very quaint spot in a large plaza. They were very nice. You order up front before you can find your spot. However, if you show up after 11am, expect a wait. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered their strawberry matcha, not too sweet and not too bitter. The strawberry gives it the right amount of sweetness to balance out the bitterness of the true bright green (means it's fresh & good quality) matcha. Food was also yum. Amazing new cafe in Fullerton!! Kitch definitely surprised me with their opening with a whole brunch menu and drinks! You order at the counter and sit yourself, they bring the food to you. The service is super quick and you can sit inside or outside. They have big high tops and tables. Also if you have a big group. Love that this area finally got a cute little café! Super convenient spot to grab a quick bite. It took over the old Rubio's location. We tried the breakfast plate -- pretty basic. Got it with bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. Split it with my toddler and it was just right. The shakshuka was good. Had a nice little kick from the cayenne, which we were into. Tried the ube French toast too -- it was tasty, but I wish the ube flavor came through a bit more. I love UBE, so was a bit sad. Drip coffee (free refills, yes please) and the black sesame latte were both solid! The staff was really friendly and the place was clean. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu! read more

Wait wasn't too long for Sunday brunch. There's a Yelp waitlist outside the door. You're able to order on the table via QR code or at the front. Food took a while to come out but our drinks came out immediately when we placed the order via our phones. We ordered the Loco Moco, Shakshuka and home fries. We noticed that our Loco Moco was missing the onion rings on top and notified a server. They brought it out very fast! The Shakshuka was good but I personally feel like it's missing some peppery flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The home fries had great flavor as well! It was soft but crispy. We also got their Hojicha Latte and Americano. I asked for less sweet in my hojicha latte but it was still really sweet. The Americano was decent! read more

I stumbled upon this breakfast spot on TikTok and it was going viral, but the reviews on yelp didn't really match (in my opinion). So I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint at all. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy, it probably got a little bit busier the later it got. We got there around 10 AM. There's a good amount of seating inside and outside. The menu is pretty versatile and definitely show shows a lot of Korean inspired breakfast food which was cool. They have so many drink options. It was kind of hard to pick but we ended up going with the banana Biscoff latte and it was one of the best banana Biscoff lattes I've ever had! It's definitely on the sweeter side so if you prefer your lattes less sweet, I would ask her do less sweet if possible. But the French toast tasted like the latte but with so delicious. We also shared a breakfast burrito with bacon, and the salsa was a great compliment to it. All the servers were super sweet and nice. We stayed for maybe a little over an hour and a half and it was comfortable and a fun little atmosphere. read more

We put our name down and it said a 15-20 min wait, but felt longer. We were seated inside and there weren't too many tables inside and out. Our server was nice when bringing our food, but the restaurant is mostly self service. The menus are QR codes and you place your order and pay online. You also get your own water from the jug. We got the brisket sando, burger, ube french toast, veggie omelette, kalbi benedict, and the nutella fluffy pancakes. The Nutella Fluffy Pancakes were super light! We were excited for the ube french toast, but there wasn't much ube flavor. We thought they would fill the inside with ube instead of plain custard. The burger and brisket sando were massive! Both were super delicious and so filling. Also loved that you can select how you want your egg cooked. The Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict was definitely the star of the show. One of my favorite brunch spots in OC. Their menu is super unique and fun. The restaurant is clean and well appointed. They have an outdoor patio area with plenty of seating. I've now been twice and honestly could not have nicer servers. They happily make recs and are super friendly. For our brunch the food was both tasty and fun to eat. So much so that when I found out they had desserts I just had to come back and try! Neither visit was I disappointed and fully recommend! Kitch Cafe is an establishment specializing in Asian fusion brunch. Was promptly seated when I arrived around 1pm, no wait. The interior is clean and simple with several tables. Dog-friendly too with patio seating. Ordered three dishes: the avocado toast, French toast, and breakfast burrito. The avocado toast here is the standout. Loved the variety of flavors/ingredients with cucumber salad, chili cherry tomatoes, and topped off with shredded seaweed. Burrito was somewhat lukewarm. Wish there was more filling inside. French toast is standard apart from its fun cube shape. Somewhat pricey for the smaller portions. Would come again to try more of their menu. read more

Expect to wait here even with a reservation. Made one for 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday and even though we came on time, we were not seated (party of 3) until almost 12 and sat outside. Given it was quite crowded but I wished the delay was not so great. The biscoff banana french toast was tasty. It was not too sweet and I liked the cream inside! Definitely get this. Sweet, soft kalbi jim pairs so well with the saltiness of the eggs and side of potatoes. The eggs benedict was cooked perfectly! - biscoff french toast: 8.0/10. Yummy! Bf and I were in the mood for some breakfast and came across this place that's right near his house and we were surprised how light the food is. I had gotten the breakfast platter with bacon, egg whites, hash browns, and wheat toast. My bf got the 3 meat omelette with hasbrowns, and sourdough toast. In total it was $36 and this place is a seat yourself and order through the app type of cafe which isn't bad. Service is great and we'll definitely be coming back for more! read more

The Banana French Toast does not let down! Thought I would still be hungry, so I ordered a sausage and fruit, and ending up being full halfway through the french toast, halfway through the sausage, and devouring the delicious fruit. (There's cream inside the french toast like a donut, w/ cinnamon bits and whipped cream on the side). Great service as well with answering questions and a server coming to greet. I've been hearing about this place for a while now and wanted to check it out. Our food came before our coffees, they take reservations but it's honestly not needed unless it's busy, starter to pick up around 11am. The pancakes were okay. I feel like the customer service energy and quality of food/drinks could improve. Next time I would try a matcha instead. My Dubai chocolate latte was really sweet (obviously sounds sweet from the name but I thought I'd give it a try) but the pistachio or something about it tasted really artificial which I couldn't enjoy. My pancakes were hot and fluffy but tasted very egg-y, fine, but I'd prefer a more batter taste than egg, of course i understand the eggs make it so they're fluffy. read more

Stopped by to try their dinner options since it looks like they introduced it about 5 months ago. Sadly, they no longer offer their dinner menu. I understand why and won't hold that against them. However, that's not why the 3 stars. When we got there, we noticed that they had a $2 kim chi fried rice add on special. The soufflé pancakes are the best here!! If you're in the OC area this is a must stop place. The ambient is relaxing and upbeat. The owner/chef Jeremy puts his heart and soul into the food. Came on their first day of soft opening! The place was pretty packed around noon, so our dishes came out slowly but totally understandable due to the first-day rush. We did experience a lil mix-up with how we wanted the matcha soufflé pancakes served, so we kinda had to DIY it. BUT they still tasted amazing--fluffy with a strong matcha flavor that wasn't too sweet!! Perfect if you're a matcha lover & prefer desserts that aren't overpowering :-) Our absolute fave dish was easily the galbijjim eggs benedict!! Everything about it was delicious and we would def come back just for that alone. We also loved the ube brick french toast, which had a good mix of ube and crème brûlée without being too sweet. The avo toast was pretty standard, and the breakfast sando w/bacon was decent but got a lil messy since the eggs were on the runnier side. Even with some opening-day hiccups, the staff and owners were sooo sweet--constantly making sure we were good, which made the experience 10x better! Definitely excited to see how they grow once they settle in. If you love brunch foods & Asian food, this place is worth checking out! read more

We enjoyed a lovely brunch at Kitch Café, and the crowd both inside and outside the restaurant clearly showed just how popular this spot is. We ordered the Galbi Jjim Eggs Benedict and Shakshuka. The Eggs Benedict was not only beautifully presented but also packed with flavor. The Shakshuka, while flavorful, was a bit on the dry side, but it still paired nicely with a smooth Americano. From the moment we ordered to when the food arrived at our table, the service was professional and well-organized. What made the experience even more special was a visit from someone who seemed to be the owner--they came over with a warm smile, kindly checked on our meal, and made sure we were satisfied. Wow! For opening up just a few weeks ago, this place was packed and bustling when we came for brunch on a Sunday morning! We ordered an ube French toast, pork belly eggs Benedict, their hot honey toast, and a couple of strawberry matcha drinks to share. Finding seating was a challenge but we managed to snag a table outside. Honestly, our food came out pretty quickly for how busy it was. Our toast came out first and it was good, but we loved the ube French toast the most out of the three items to ordered. Checked out Kitch Cafe's soft opening today and was blown away by the friendly and knowledgeable service, cute and casual ambiance, and delicious brunch options! Love that the staff takes the time and effort to explain the ingredients and preparation for each dish, so you can truly enjoy and appreciate the attention to detail and care that Kitch Cafe puts into every bite. We tried the following brunch items: Biscoff Banana Brulee Brick French Toast: I was worried this would be too sweet based on the description, but it was well-balanced and had terrific textures and flavors! A must for banana / Biscoff / french toast lovers! Loco Moco: very unique loco moco, as the protein had onions mixed in and was reminiscent of a yummy meat loaf. Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict: such a creative, savory, and comforting take on Eggs Benedict! Love the fusion of Korean flavors and would order this over and over again. Prosciutto Burrata Hot Honey Open-Face Toast: the toast had wonderful texture thanks to the choice of bread, and the combo of savory prosciutto, fatty burrata, and unctuous hot honey worked so well together. Matcha Souffle Pancake: if you like that jiggle jiggle with your pancakes, you've got to check out at least one version of Kitch Cafe's souffle pancakes! This dish was very matcha forward and you can taste the quality of ingredients. We also saw that there will be a pizza menu - looks absolutely amazing and we're wishing Kitch Cafe all the very best for their Grand Opening on Wed 3/12 and beyond! review from over a week ago: I heard about a new brunch opening in Amerige Heights and decided to check it out. the place is set up where people wait in line to order, and then look for a table, in which the servers bring you the food once ready. the line was long on a Sunday morning, and i waited about 25 min to place my order. To keep it simple: 1. The food will take really long to come out. We ordered 2 items, and they came out at different times (30 and 40 minutes after ordering) 2. The price for the quality/quantity is mediocre. I believe my total for a breakfast burrito, French toast, and americano was $37.50 but the amount of food wouldn't even fill one person. The brisket inside the burrito also tasted too overcooked and just hard and crunchy. 3. There is a sub charge of $0.50 per egg "due to the egg shortage" and i was charged $2 more on my burrito which def did not contain 4 eggs. if i held 4 scrambled eggs in my hand, it would've been much larger than the entire burrito itself. As this is a new establishment (assuming no prev. restaurant experience), I am glad the spot is popular with customers. However, there are adjustments needed to be made. read more
