this is a good place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch to enjoy by yourself, as a duo, or a small group! it's a pay before you sit down type of restaurant. luckily there was no line when i went. you get your food within about 20-30 minutes and with it being a weekday, the service was a little slow. i had to ask for utensils that didn't come with our food and had to go up to the counter to ask for extra plates after not receiving them when i asked. regardless of slow service, the workers were always so kind every time i interacted with them and i just understood that it's probably not as well staffed on a weekday compared to a weekend! since i went a little later in the day, a few items were sold out so definitely go earlier for items like the steak and eggs or shakshuka. the french toast was so delicious. probably my favorite item and the sweetness was the perfect amount without being way too sweet. they offer butters, jams, and syrups on the side if you want to add more. the loaded fries were yummy but i wish the fries itself were crispier to last longer against the sauce and cheese since it got soggy quickly. the loco moco was decent, the eggs were cooked perfectly but the beef patty was just okay and there wasn't that much gravy compared to other loco moco's i've had in the past. overall, good place to eat at. i would definitely come back to try out other food items since they have so many fusion breakfast/brunch/lunch items! i do think their sweet items may be better than their savory items. for the drinks, i loved the banana biscoff latte so much. it had a strong biscoff flavor with a subtle banana flavor and the espresso was very balanced with the sweetness of the drink. the strawberry matcha was more like strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. would definitely choose the lattes over matcha here!
This is a Korean inspired breakfast/brunch spot. Definitely an awesome find, there were so many different drinks and dishes that I wanted to try! I opted for the galbijjim eggs benedict, since I have never seen an eggs benedict using the galbijjim meat. It was so tender and tasted amazing with the hollandaise and poached egg. Everything was cooked perfectly! We also shared the ube brulee brick french toast, which was super pretty, but not much ube. I think if they add ube to the custard or even thicken the syrup and add ube in the drizzle, then that might make it more true to the name. But otherwise it was delicious and a good dish to share between the table instead of a main dish. The Big Breakfast Plate was perfect for my husband and kids to share, since it's plenty of food with three different proteins! I ordered the Dubai chocolate latte to drink, but it wasn't really anything special. When it came out, it just looked like a regular latte. I could tell they just used a pistachio syrup, so I was just hoping there was going to be a little bit more to it, like toppings or a cream on top. The drink flavors sounded so good so I'm hoping I just ordered a bad one. Service was really great, and I definitely would come back again despite the drink being a little less than favorable!
I will start off by saying the item I had planned on getting was no longer on the menu, so that was a bummer. I ended up going with the brisket burrito and I was not a fan of it. It was not what I was expecting, and was VERY sweet. :( The marshmallow treat I got was delicious, though. Everyone elses food looked really good, and their salsa was good! We were not offered refills on coffee until we were getting up to leave. It was an interesting experience, not sure if I would rush back but if I do return I will definitely try something else. Parking was ok during the early morning but seems as if it can get scarce during busy times.
If you're looking for a spot that nails both the aesthetic and the flavor, Kitch Coffee & Cuisine is it. I recently had a meal here, and every dish was a standout. The Highlights: Soufflé Pancakes: These are the stars of the show. Incredibly fluffy, light, and airy--they practically melt in your mouth. Topped with fresh strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar, they are as delicious as they are "Instagrammable." Breakfast Burrito: This is a hearty, well-executed classic. It's packed with high-quality ingredients, perfectly toasted on the outside, and served with a side of salsa verde that adds just the right amount of kick. Matcha Latte: Not only was the heart-shaped latte art beautiful, but the matcha itself was high-grade--vibrant, smooth, and not overly sweet.
My friends, family & I have come here a couple times already and love it. Kitch has so many food options, so it's good for a group of people - if everyone wants to try something different (sweet, savory, etc). Love that you can order either with the cashier or through the app at your table you're sitting at. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The workers there are always so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend visiting Kitch Cafe! It's a super cute place.
I've passed by this place a few times when trying out other spots in this plaza and its always packed when I pass by. Finally had a chance to check it out and I love that there's outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we went inside, ordered and went outside to sit. We got the nutella souffle pancake, the biscoff banana brulee brick french toast (a mouthful lol), the breakfast smashburger & brisket breakfast burrito. The food was good but nothing that made me say "WOW I gotta come back". If i was already in the area & didn't have any other place I want to try then maybe i'd come back, but I think i'm okay with coming here once.
We are looking a place for bunch and this place pop up. It was pack on a Tuesday 11am, so I have high expectation. Unfortunately, food and drink are just average, if not below. We ordered coconut cloud matcha and banana matcha. The coconut drink was like coconut water with no flavor of matcha and the banana matcha taste only match and no banana flavor. In term of food, the spicy pork belly taco is well seasoning, but lack of spicy. I wish they added some type if slaw on top, it would enhance the dish. Kimchi fried rice on the side was are lack of depth. The waffle from Nutella waffle tasted old and not freshly made. We have to ask for our utensils since there isn't any around. The positive thing of this place is that they have extended menu so maybe we just didn't order it right. Our cashier seems also seems friendly. This place deserve 2.5 stars but we rounding it up to 3.
Really wanted to like this place but it's brunch food was unfortunately subpar. We ordered a kalbi Benedict and brisket burrito and both were so sad... the Benedict's poached egg was really running and undercooked, and its muffin was not really toasted. And the burritos rice was also undercooked. We waited more than 20 mins for our food and everything was undercooked. The manager did apologize and comp us Nutella fluffy pancake, really nice of them. The sitting area was nice and chill, and we were able to walk to Barnes Nobles right after brunch which is a huge plus. The tallow fries were pretty good though, and although we haven't tried their coffee they seemed good too.
Went here for brunch and ordered the Galbi Jim Eggs Benedict with tallow fries , original soufflé pancakes, and their banana biscoff latte. Presentation was excellent, service friendly and quick, overall taste of food was heavy on flavor. Get ready to overload your taste buds. The Galbi Jim Benedict was a bit salty and tallow fries super salty, soufflé pancakes was a bit dense with a milky flavor, and the banana biscoff latte was a sweet-cookie drink. I enjoyed the Asian fusion angle of this place and will return to try their other unique dishes.
I had the best soufflé pancakes when I was in Kyoto recently. As soon as I came back home, I wanted to eat more! Kitch Cafe had them on their menu, so I stopped by for brunch to satisfy my cravings. They have three flavors to choose from. I got the matcha, which is supposed to be topped with blueberries and powdered sugar. Definitely came with a lot of sugar, though the fruit was mysteriously absent. Besides that, the pancakes were fairly fluffy and paired well with the sweet cream. I also got to try the Biscoff Banana French Toast, which was enjoyable as well. The Korean braised rib (Kalbi Jjim) Eggs Benedict was too salty. If you order this, make sure you request adjustments when you're at the register. Lots of interesting fusion menu options to try overall. Good amount of seating inside and out.
Stopped by after hearing great things about this spot. The location is nice, and the outdoor seating area has great views, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered two strawberry matchas and two bacon burritos and grabbed a table outside. The wait ended up being longer than expected, and we noticed a couple of guests who ordered after us received their food and drinks first. However, the staff apologized for the delay and generously brought out pancakes on the house, which was a very thoughtful gesture and definitely made up for the wait. The bacon burritos were worth the price! I'd give them an 8/10. The strawberry matchas were also very good, another 8/10. The complimentary pancakes were fluffy and tasty as well, around a 7/10. Aside from the longer wait time, this is a very solid spot. I'd come back to try more items on the menu.
I came because I wanted a coffee/matcha. I got matcha strawberry and waited for lunch time while I worked a bit. I looked at the menu and saw so many things that caught my eyes. I might have been way too hungry and was going to get the Chinese chicken salad but I was debating between that and the burrito. An employee asked if I had any questions because I had almost finished my matcha and was working. I asked which of the two items he recommended and said the burrito! I had no regrets! He even told me to try it with the salsa. It was so delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi too. My boyfriend had half my burrito and asked where did I get this from because we've never had anything like it. Nonetheless I'll be coming back with him Next.

Kitch is a new cafe, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. You order at the counter then they bring food to wherever you sit at. Since it wasn't as busy, it was easier to find a seat. We got our coffee and matcha super quickly and the wait for the food wasn't long either. They also let us sample a pizza slice. The French toast and breakfast burrito were a little disappointing (French toast seemed a little overpriced for the portion), but the pizza slice was amazing! Definitely one of the best slices we've tried. We also ordered a match to go and it took over 20 minutes to get this which threw us off since we got our first drinks fairly quickly. It's a very clean restaurants as well and the staff was very friendly. Overall experience wasn't bad! read more

Wow! What a treat. Kitch cafe is a gem inside Amerige Heights. Everything we ordered came in generous portions and tasted phenomenal. I had the Biscoff banana French toast that had this amazing custard inside with fresh whipped cream on the side. We also got to try their shakshouka and brisket breakfast burrito which was incredible. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care they put into each dish they create. Their staff were also amazing and super attentive and this brunch spot is super spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the food, service, and vibe of this place!! I came here on Sunday morning around 10AM before the Sunday brunch rush began! My party ordered shakshouka, banana biscoff french toast, smash burger with tallow fries, and a breakfast burrito! the portions are very generous! every single thing that we tried was soooo delicious. the shakshouka came with toasted sourdough bread which was perfect to dip in the runny egg! the shakshouka was perfectly tomato-y and the egg was perrrrfect. the banana biscoff french toast has custard inside one you bite into its pillow texture, a perfect complement! the smashburger was also perfectly seasoned, not too salty and everything tasted good together and separately too! the atmosphere is casual and truly a perfect weekend brunch spot :-) if you're looking for food ambiance, food, service, consider visiting kitch in fullerton! we ordered 3-4 dishes with 3 drinks and it came out to around $75 which is good price point for the party size and amount of food we ordered! read more

Kitch Cafe is a welcome new spot to Amerige Heights -- formerly where the Rubio's was, and it's now Fullerton's hottest new brunch spot! I had a chance to dine here during their soft opening with some girlfriends. All the food was amazing and delicious!!! My favorites were the biscoff banana French toast and the kitch avocado toast. It seems like they recently started offering the dinner menu so the place was pretty empty. We placed the order at the front and found a table. Ordered Chimichurri Smoked Tri-tip Burrito and Meatloaf Platter. They were okay. The meat in the burrito was a bit too chewy/dry but other than that, nothing stood out. We ordered the Beef Brisket breakfast Burrito and Loco Moco (and a can of coke) The beef brisket was good (flavor wise) but it just didn't go well with a breakfast burrito, something just didn't taste right.. And the meat was so tough, I couldn't even cut it with the butter knife. If you're eating a burrito, it gets annoying when you can't bite off something and the whole thing you are trying to bite comes out and makes a huge mess. It was like BBQ flavored beef jerky. The Loco Moco had no flavor, while the meat was tender, the sauce was just lacking. It came with two amazing multi grain toast, but butter or jam was not provided and I didn't understand why this menu even came with bread. I feel that the potential is there but it's just not good enough for me to try again. I feel they are really trying too hard to make non breakfast food into breakfast by forcing it. The staff is amazing, attentive, and nice but I wouldn't pay $40 dollars for breakfast here again. read more

MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST PLACE HANDS DOWN. I've tried almost everything on the menu, halfway through the coffee menu, but everything has been exceptional! I can't even give a recommendation of one to try because they're all worth trying. Between the ordering and wait time it's not a long wait including on busy times which is obvious, but well worth it. I like that you have the option to order with the cashiers or at the table by scanning the QR code. Plenty of indoor seating and there are outdoor seating available as well. Great addition to Amerige heights where you can go for delicious shaved ice topped with ice cream, red beans and mochi (optional) and share amongst your friends or get diff flavors in a small size and try it all! Love hanging out for brunch and matcha with my doggie because they have a big patio area. I recommend the chicken and waffles, galbijjim sando and tri tip with chimichurri. Pretty good brunch spot in the OC. There was a long wait for a Saturday afternoon so put your party on the Yelp waitlist as soon as you can. Went in for their new dinner menu and felt bamboozled. We got the chimichurri and smashburger - smashburger and fries were good. Reminded me of Five Guys. But felt like we were robbed of our chimichurri steak. First of all, it def doesn't look like anything in the photo or the reels they posted. Literally got four pieces of meat????? And was overcooked. So confused and very misleading. Customer service was also not that great. Staff wasn't friendly and wasn't able to answer our questions and just walked away without answering. I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my dog to try the galbi jjim eggs benedict. Seating was quick and I really liked that they were dog-friendly (they had a water bowl out). Service is pretty hands-off; I just ordered from the QR code then a staff member brought out my food for me. The galbi jjim was alright - it wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything special. I ended up adding hot sauce to add some flavor. Overall it's worth trying out - maybe I'll return for their drinks - but nothing I'm too crazy about. read more

More like a 3.5, but rounding up. I live in the area and was really excited to try this place. The ambience is super cute and their Asian fusion dishes sound amazing. I wanted to love it, but it unfortunately missed the mark. What we had for brunch: Smoked brisket breakfast sandwich: 5/5 winner! Really great flavor, good texture with slightly charred ends, and a lot of meat. Worked really well with the egg. Would be even better with some BBQ sauce. Galbi jim eggs Benedict: 2/5. Nice concept, but it wasn't good. It was bland, eggs were way too runny for poached eggs - possibly undercooked. The English muffin below was mushy. It needed like 2 more minutes in the toaster. Matcha souffle pancakes: 3/5. Loved the egginess but could barely taste the matcha. It arrived lopsided and the cream was super watery. I thought the cream was supposed to have more structure/whipped like in the photos. The pancake itself was just ok. It wasn't as light and fluffy as I thought it'd be. Black Sesame latte: 3/5. Pretty, but could barely taste the sesame. Could probably use more espresso too. Service was just ok as well. Everyone was really nice and friendly, but we sat outside so they were slow to check in on us. I went inside to refill our waters ourselves a couple times and get to-go boxes. I'm giving them the benefit of doubt that they are still working out the kinks in their relatively new brunch menu. I placed an online order for pickup (selecting "ASAP") and arrived about 10 minutes later. The staff said they hadn't received my order in their system yet but offered to make it if I showed them my confirmation. I pulled up my order--two drinks with special instructions and one food item--and read it to them. When the drinks came out, one was made incorrectly (I had requested no ice). The employee claimed, *"You didn't tell me that,"* even though I had just read the instructions directly from my order. Instead of remaking it properly, she just poured the drink into a new cup to remove the ice--which felt lazy and unprofessional. If that's their idea of "remaking" a drink, I could've done it myself. Between the system error and the dismissive service, I don't plan on returning. There are much better cafes that actually pay attention to orders and customer requests. read more

Where do I even begin. This place was FIVE STARS all the way. We got recommended this location from TikTok and it did not disappoint. We walked in and got explained how it works fairly quickly. We sat down and scanned the QR code and got our food and drinks within 15 minutes! I got the brisket sandwich which was the BEEES KNEEES, oh my gosh. Every BITE WAS AMAZING, you can taste the smokiness in the meat. I couldn't put it down, even the fries were done well and seasoned so perfectly. My bfs also raved about his plate, it was good with every bite. The waiters were attentive and the coffees were also delicious. Will be coming back again and highly I mean HIGHLY recommend. read more

They finally launched dinner menu today! Tried a few things off their dinner menu with my church small group. Really enjoyed the amazing new dinner items, drinks are really tasty and ambience is perfect for a get together with friends and family. Service was friendly and very attentive. Saw this place when I was at Barnes and noble. Came here around 11am on a Friday and there were plenty of seats available. I ordered their smoked brisket breakfast burrito. I'm honestly a bit disappointed because it tasted a bit bland, & it didn't come with cheese... :(. The salsa didn't help. Also disappointed bc they didn't have decaf espresso.. they only have decaf drip coffee :(!!! The ambiance is nice! Very clean.. the restroom is nice too. It looks like they opened not too long ago?? All in all I may come back since there aren't any better options around.. besides fast food! read more

A friend and I came to Kitch Cafe on a weekday around noon and I was surprised to see the restaurant was quite full however, we were able to grab one of the last remaining open tables inside. You can place your order at the counter before finding an open table, or you can place your order on your phone by scanning the QR code. The menu was fairly expansive and had a good selection of both savory and sweet dishes. Everything sounded delicious but we decided to order the "Veggie Avocado Omelette" ($16), the Loco Moco ($18), and the "Nutella Soufflé Pancake" ($15). Our food came out in a relatively timely manner, and my favorite of the three was the veggie avocado omelette which contained a mixture of mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and cheese, and also included a side of toast and home fries, I also enjoyed the soufflé pancake which was soft and fluffy, but I didn't get too much of the Nutella mousse as the flavor was very subtle. The ratio of crushed Oreos to the number of pancakes also felt lacking as it was good enough to cover the top pancake, but you were left with two plain pancakes that didn't get any Nutella mousse or Oreos. As for the Loco Moco, the patty had a very smoky and bacon-like taste which was fine to me however, the meat felt quite dry. The onion rings atop the dish also was quite soggy. After our meal, we were also informed it was the first day they would be serving shave snow so they were offering it to guest at 50% off. We decided to get a small size ($8) of the Strawberry Matcha shave show with mochi however, when our order arrived, it was missing the Matcha and mochi. Nonetheless, I still found the shave snow to be enjoyable. Service was standard and we were able to find parking very easily which was nice. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Overall, a nice addition to the Fullerton area and I'd be open to trying other items if I was in the area again. read more

Such a great spot in Amerige Heights Town Center--right across from Barnes & Noble. My husband and I first came here for breakfast and loved it. We sat outside and had the California sando and shakshuka--both were super flavorful. Since then, I've come back a bunch of times with friends for brunch after our Sunday runs at the Fullerton Loop. We're obsessed with the avocado veggie omelette, and the soufflé pancake with strawberry mango syrup is a total must. So good! My husband highly recommends the brisket burrito. They just started serving dinner too, so that's definitely going on my list. Love this place--great food, great environment. read more

Brunch 8am-3pm everyday Shaved snow Sunday-Thursday 3pm-9pm and Friday-Saturday 3pm-10pm I am so excited we got one of these deserts in Fullerton. I usually have to drive Pasadena/garden grove to get a desert like this. I came across this from TikTok and stopped by to try. Service was nice and the place itself is spacious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We loved the deserts. The coffee was a bit sweet but overall really good! The shaved ice...sooooo good. Out of the 2 I think the strawberry shaved snow was refreshing since the strawberries were so fresh and perfectly sweet. But both shaved snows were delicious. We definitely want to come back and try the soufflé pancakes. read more

kitch café is such a fun dessert spot--cute interior, natural light, and honestly a dessert lineup worth pulling up for again and again we got the strawberry matcha with their unreleased mango cold foam and it was layered, creamy, and not too sweet. definitely a winner. the strawberry matcha waffles were chef's kiss--crispy edges, warm center, and a super smooth matcha cream on top we also ordered three bingsus: fruity pebbles, mango, and their affogato with hot espresso poured over. all were fluffy and refreshing but the cereal milk one was the truth. would come back just for that we also tried their mini round basque cheesecake--it could've been a little more torched and basque-y, but it was still sooo good and super satisfying the staff was so kind and welcoming the whole time, which made the experience even better. can't wait to come back for another dessert run read more
