We decided to eat to this restaurant for dinner while visiting Harrah's Rincon Casino. This is a review for 2 dinners on a Wednesday evening. There is 2 seating areas either inside or tables outside with a view of the casino floor. After checking the menu we were immediately seated in a booth next to the kitchen area. We ordered spring rolls, Mongolian beef, and chicken Lo Mein. The rolls came out first and were very hot so we let them cool. Our main dishes can out before we were finished with our appetizer. The Mongolian beef was spicy but not too hot. It was smothered with onions and red peppers. The Lo Mein noodles were not overcooked with generous portions of chicken. There was more food than the 2 of us could eat. The food was good, service was exceptional, and dinner was a positive experience. If visiting Harrah's this may be a choice for a good solid meal. read more

This Chinese restaurant is located inside Harrah's Casino. The Chinese dishes are authentic and quite tasty, considering it's inside a casino. The downside is that their prices are quite high for comparable Chinese dishes elsewhere. Keep in mind, though, that most diners have some sort of comps from the casino so their meal is discounted or free. You can also use your casino comps to order takeout from the side cashier near Fiore. The restaurant isn't very large. If you go at peak hours on the weekend, expect some wait time. They don't give priority to diamond or 7 stars members. The staff are kind and attentive. The food comes out quickly. Everything is a la cart, including rice and tea. Overall, if you want Chinese food, this would be the place to enjoy it while you're kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's authentic food for Asian clientele. read more

Food here is okay if you're really hungry and don't want the buffet, but it could be better. We ordered takeout to take back up to our room so we could eat more comfortably. The tofu with dried scallops was really good, but I'm biased because that's one of my favorite dishes at any Chinese restaurant that can make it. The braised yee noodles were a tad overcooked, but they were still ok. The sizzling pork should have been skipped. We asked them to cook it with less oil, but when we opened the box, the pieces of pork were swimming in a pool of grease. We had to heat up some hot water in the coffee maker to douse over the meat. I haven't tried too much of their menu, but a friend said their fried dishes don't come out too well either. I'd probably get the tofu dish again if I return. Beyond that, they clay pots seem like they'd be good, and maybe I'll try the dim sum too. read more

The food came on a basic plate with a spoon, nothing fancy. A bit high in price, even for a casino, so I have to give 3 stars. Visited on a Sunday late afternoon and was greeted with no wait - so immediate service and offered a booth or table. We choose the booth. Pursuing the menu, it's all family style so no "Combo A" available. The server approached and asked us for drinks, which arrived shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, that's where the speed stopped. It took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive - and that was the first couple of items. The appetizers actually arrived with one of the main course item. I get they make things fresh, but this seems like an usually long amount of time. The Sea Bass Pot took another 10 minutes before it arrived. The dim sung was delish so we ordered another batch as the Sea Bass was actually just OK and kind of bland. The Orange Chicken is usually spicy but they can make it without the spices if needed. The beef fried rice was decent enough. 10 minutes later, we're ready to leave, but our second order of dim sung hadn't arrived yet. The service said they were on their way. 5 minutes later we give up and tell the server we're ready to leave. They were nice enough about it and took it off the check. read more

This food was absolutely amazing. We had a lot of food credit so we had quite a bit. Thank goodness for the credit the prices were a bit high. The meal was just for four people but we had~ Spring Rolls Steamed shrimp dumplings Steamed rice Sautéed Chinese greens Orange chicken Honey Walnut creamy shrimp Shrimp pan fried noodles Sweet & Sour pork Mongolian Beef Shredded pork pan fried noodles Yang chow shrimp fried rice Pak Choi in garlic sauce Had to knock off a star because the dishes we had in mind to eat they were out of. Mind you it was early evening. It got to the point that I had to say "Just tell us what you have that's on the menu before we try and order it". Pricy Chinese food, but flavors are consistently good. We usually dine here or order to go when visiting Harrahs and need to use our food credit/dining offer. Our usual order includes the shrimp pan fried noodles, pork chop with spicy salt, and the sea bass clay pot. Dishes are a la carte and the servings are large enough for several people to share and even have leftovers. Ask for chilis or hot sauce if you prefer more spice to your meal. Service is quick, and the food comes out piping hot with very little wait. Tip: to go orders may take up to an hour (or more) during busy times such as weekend evenings. read more

I Understand your busy or maybe your under staffed but You have plenty of tables at this time I don't know why you couldn't sit a lady by herself and a party of 4. Absolutely our favorite place to eat when at Harrah's The food is so yummy! Our favorites is the Salt Pepper Pork chop and the xo string beans. We had 3 orders of pork chop, 2 orders of xo string beans, 3 orders of Yand fried rice, deep fried whole fish, wonton soup, and hubby had Beef Pho all so yummy. Had to make a detour to Harrah's. KJ always has a line so you know what the means.. Servicers are always on the ball and working so reason for long line means the food is good! So I stand in line with like 20 peeps in front after waiting for like 30 mins. Im up to be seated but my family has yet to arrive, so I let a few peeps go ahead. Then host came to me and asked how many peeps " I said 7 but they arent here yet, and I can just let peeps go-ahead" he said ok He then sat 4 people then went and set up a table for 7 and sat me (keep in mind long line behind me) even thou my party wasnt there yet. Located inside Harrah's Resort and Casino in Southern California. Always a line at the take out and dining room. Approximately 1 hour to get take out after you order. About 20 to 40 minute wait to dine in. Having said that, the food is excellent. Once you are seated, service is very efficient and food comes out fast. There is a sign at the takeout that says 1 hour wait to get food. Place your order, then go gamble or drink for an hour. Worth the wait. read more

I know most restaurants are struggling with trying to hire people, but my jaw dropped when the to-go guy told me how long the order would take. 40 minutes! I stood in line over 15 minutes while I waited for the two ladies in front of me to order. So add 15 to 40. Almost an hour from entry to food arrival. That's horrible. There are five tables of people right now. And Chinese food is usually prepared quickly. I don't get it. If you can't service your customers, why are you in business? And how many customers do you lose when service is that bad? When I asked if fried rice came with Sweet and Sour Pork, I couldn't understand the answer, but I thought he said, "No." What Chinese restaurant doesn't serve rice with its dishes? I'm perfectly willing to modify my review if the food is good and service improves, but my first impression has not been good. When I ordered, I told the order taker I would be waiting at a table, and pointed to the table. I waited the 40 minutes, then ask another waiter if it was ready. Indeed it was, but nobody bothered to let me know! Who knows how long it had been sitting there? The food? The Sweet and Sour Pork was better than average, but did not come with any rice! Bizarre. The two lobster egg rolls were huge, but between the two, priced at $14.00, I only found two or three small chunks of lobster. The flavor was fine if you like veggie egg rolls, in fact, very good, but with sparse lobster and priced way too high at $14.00, meh. KJ's can apparently get away with lacksidaisical service and average food since there are few Asian restaurants in the neighborhood, but they need an owner/manager with much higher standards and better organization and planning. Customer service is the worst, everybody at my table received their food except one person. We asked every waiter that past by and no one had an answer an hour later everybody finished their food and the person that was waiting for her food never came until we were leaving! I love this place!! I come here about twice a month and have nothing but positive things to say! They have some of the best honey walnut shrimp I've ever had and they're sizzling tender beef is so delicious!! Some of my favorite dishes are: the two I just mentioned, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, Peking style pork chops, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, XO green beans, and the congee. If there was one dish I wasn't a huge fan of, it's the pad Thai. The serving is huge, but too sweet for me. I highly recommend this place! read more

Poor presentation. The chicken fried rice was made with white rice and was very greasy. Portion size for $24.00 was pretty small. They sat us next to the open air bus station with containers of dirty dishes. Some manager needs to check things out with a fresh set of eyes. When the bill came, they charged us for pot stickers instead of the egg rolls that we ordered even though they brought us spring rolls!! My wife and I decided to eat here after reading all the negative reviews, I normally trust no one's information but my own! Great food and service, we were served seated properly and water was brought to our table, we ordered our food, Shrimp Fried Rice, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chicken Lo Mien and Mongolian Beef. Food was EXCELLENT, but the service was also great, we said Thank you whenever the staff refilled our water and also when our food was brought to the table, our thank you's were received with a smile and half bow.
