This place is incredible value for the price, the service is so lovely, and the food is delicious!! While we were there the owner was training a new employee on assembling banh mi and I could hear the level of care and detail they put into training and was super impressed. We each had the grilled pork banh mi and it was stuffed full with a really generous portion and was super flavorful! An older review mentioned only tasting the mayo in the banh mi but we didn't feel that was true at all! The bread was super fresh too. Our kids split the chicken fried rice and the portion is huge!! It's a perfect kid dish with some kid friendly veggies. We live in west Seattle and will definitely drive out of our way to come back! read more

This is a fast casual fried chicken place with an appropriately limited menu. Honestly more of a 3.5 star place but rounding down for the long wait to get our food (the place wasn't even packed but I assume they were backed up with online orders). The Korean fried chicken is quite good but the sides leave something to be desired. The tteokbokki and kimchi fried rice were both pretty bland and the rice was on the mushy side (I didn't see regular rice on the menu so I assume they were making the fried rice with freshly cooked rice??). I came in & was greeted right away by what I believe was one one the owners, ahe was super nice, and accommodating. I ordered the 1/2 order of the Kkokio Yum Yum spicy with drumsticks. OMG Ezelle's eat your heart out, so delicious! The chicken was tender & ultra juicy, the spicy sauce was super tasty, not too spicy, I could have taken even more spice, but not complaining, just ask for extra napkins. I will be back. Their wings are big with thick skin that feels and look undercooked but outside had appearance as crunchy but if you take the crumbs out reveals chewy skin with goosebumps..my family wasn't feeling it. Also tried coffee that was in slushy machine but it wasn't slushy..they just put in there to keep it cold. Tried banh mi special and meh..I only can taste mayo since they put in lot. This located close to CID. Parking is a lot that is shared with a auto repair shop so it's pretty big but be careful driving around as some people whip around the corner so you have to be careful. I didn't take any pictures since it wasn't anything too impressive. When you walk in to the left is a banh mi bar, straight ahead is where you order Korean chicken along with some random things and then to the right there are about 5-6 small tables. I had ordered ahead with my sister to pick up food and when I arrived to pick up there was a couple in front of that took forever to order food. When it finally was my turn which was literally 5 minutes later the hostess taking orders did not say anything to me to let me know she'd be with me in a moment. She just started to walk around cleaning table and talking to guest in the dining room and a line started to form behind me. As I was watching the lady behind the banh mi bar was standing there until she was she for orders and the people in the back making the chicken, finally someone came out but not to greet me, but to answer the phone for another order. When the woman finally came back around to greet me she brought my order which had been sitting on the counter for the entire time in the corner. When I went to pay and it got to the tip screen I bypassed it and she cancelled it and said I forgot something. When I said no I didn't and bypassed it again, she cancelled it and said I did it wrong and turned it around. I once again cancelled it and I couldn't believe she demanded a tip for making me wait and not even greeting me. I know I sound entitled but I'm really not. By the time I got my phone is was cold, the food was ok, and there were random things in my order, I'm pretty sure it wasn't even my order. The staff were young and energetic and the service was awesome. As my son Davis and I were finishing up our meal, the owner, I hope I have your name right...Mia suggested the next time I come back to try the crispy pork Bahn mi. Well, I didn't wait for the next time I ordered it to go for my meal at the Sounders match today. Opened in February 2023 and serving 6 different flavors of KFC. 10 drumsticks or 20 wings or boneless thigh (full order) and 5 drumsticks or 10 wings or boneless thighs (half order), the chicken is crunchy, delicious, juicy. Bahn Mis are also fantastic - pork, grilled chicken are the types I've tried. Super friendly staff and clean eating area with about 6 tables. The breading remained crispy and the tasty glaze was sweet-salty and full of umami. The order is not cheap, but ideal to share with a friend or, take home for a second meal, as I did. The people working there are very friendly, so that's a big factor too. So far only tried the chicken, but they seem to have a lot of other things to try.
