Korean fried chicken with sauce selection. Small store limited space for dine in We had the plain chicken and other the sweet chili sauce aside. It's okay I had better fried chicken elsewhere

Partner wanted tteokbokki, so this place popped up next to us. Small little shop with only a counter and much sitting area. The service was somewhat slow despite we were the only one there, waited more than 15 minutes for the food and after seeing it, surprised it cost so much for so little rice cakes. To the food review 2.8/5 - tteokbokki - I usually think it wouldn't be too bad as most rice cakes taste pretty good, but this one felt stale/cold and very stiff. Definitely lost its bounciness and chew. Felt like its old or been sitting there for a while and just tossed in the sauce. Was quite disappointed by not only the amount of rice cakes for the price but the flavor/texture of it as well. Not sure if i'll go to this place again, but tteokbokki isnt their main food item so maybe they don't focus too much on it.

Chicken was crispy, hot, and flavorful. I got the spicy chicken skewer. It was too spicy, almost painful to eat, but it was good.

I'm surprised I haven't heard more buzz about this spot. UmmaDak was a solid option for Korean fried chicken in the international district, just across the street from the light rail station. The chicken is crispy, covered in sauce (we throughly enjoyed both the Honey Dak and UmmaDak flavors), the pieces are much bigger than bite-sized, and the mix-plate was a great deal for $14.99. The side of instant rice is just that, but was a nice addition to our meal for an extra couple dollars. The k-cabbage salad is just plain shredded cabbage, and added a needed freshness to our meal. The space is small, and there's no seating inside, just a few tables to stand at, but we enjoyed taking our meal across the street to eat outside. It was a great option for a meal in the international district before a Sounders game, I would love to come back!

Came in because I was in the area and it sounded like a good option! Was here for lunch and it is very filling for a good price! The sauce on the wings were a little on the sweeter side, so I would suggest getting a skewer if it's only you, but you most def can take it home and eat more. The wings are boneless and pretty crispy. Service was good. Wings were out in 10 minutes. Good ambiance. Which there were chairs to sit, but since there is a limited eating space with only 2 tables it makes sense why they want you to stand.

This place does the job for a quick chicken fix but that's about it. It's a fast casual type of place, with standing tables to enjoy your food away from the cold. Shout out to our cashier who was eager to answer questions to clarify the menu, and give suggestions for things like reducing saltiness in the fries because of how naturally salty they were! The honey butter sauce is soooo good. Probably one of the most popular items from what I've seen. The Umma sauce was solid and I'm sure the rest of the flavors are fine. However, the chicken itself is pretty flavorless. Almost like it was just directly breaded and put in the fryer. So while the flavor shines in the sauces, would be nice to have that classic KFC marinade that makes this style of chicken so good. Not sure if I'd particular come back any time soon but just maybe if I'm craving something with honey butter.

This has to be one of the most flavorful chicken dishes I've had. They absolutely cover the chicken in whichever sauce you choose and they even allow you to choose multiple flavors if you get a large bowl. The service was pretty fast and even if it wasn't, the atmosphere is pretty cute. The chicken was very crunchy and they had lots of sides to choose from from rice, to pickled daikon radish.

We took a weekend trip to Seattle and UmmaDak was first on our list of spots to try out. This is definitely one place you'll want to stop at too! My family and I waited 5-10 minutes per order. Two downsides: some items on the menu were sold out before noon and dine-in consisted of pub tables, no chairs. Since we were on foot majority of the morning, we wanted to sit but that didn't stop us from ordering and enjoying our meal. I ordered a mix of flavors in a large bowl. They also have a smaller size bowl and skewer option if large is too big. My favorite flavor was the soy garlic while my family enjoyed the plain and Korean sweet chilli. Aside from the food, the inside of this restaurant is trendy and a great spot to take Instagram-worthy pics while munching on some tasty dak (chicken)

I tried their original crispy chicken bowl and while the amount of food was good, the chicken was rather dry. Without any sauce, it lacked flavor and was bland. I just happened to go by and decided to try it out, but I wouldn't make it a point to go back. They have just standing bars so you can't really sit inside. Plus, they were out of rice cakes so I couldn't try that.

I came here during the international district restaurant walk, where they were offering $6 chicken which sounded great. There was a decently long line, but it definitely moved quite quickly and was able to put in my order! The cashier was extremely nice and efficient. Due to the restaurant walk situation, it was very crowded inside, and all the tables and walls were extremely full. I ended up waiting for my food outside. I got my food in about 15 min. The chicken was very hot and very crispy. The flavor of the honey garlic was really good, and the hot chicken has a nice kick. Overall good food, and I'd recommend if you like Korean fried chicken!

Right outside the train station this was our first stop to our little food tour. My friend and I wanted to grab something quick as we were both super hungry. I got the ummadak and so dduck so dduck, both were good and super filling. The so dduck was on the spicier side for me but that's because I've become old and can't handle spice anymore the chicken was crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. They were also hosting a Labubu giveaway that day, but my friend and I weren't going to be there when they drew the winner. Service is pretty quick and the place was pretty packed. There is only standing space and high tables to eat, no seats around. Minus one star because my stomach didn't agree with the fried chicken unfortunately but I am sensitive to oily foods.

It is set up like a cute korean style bar with small round tables which make sharing easier. They have a pretty good selection on their menu and we ordered a couple of items to share. The Rose Ttoekbokki with cheese was very yummy, but it kinda tasted like pasta with rice cakes instead of spaghetti. I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. Since the dishes are so big and shareable, it is easy to split amongst a group, but it is a little less affordable to come here for dinner and drinks.

Most recently I had the kimchi jigae, which was relatively spicy, even when I asked for less spicy (and they said they could accommodate). I'd say it was like 2-3 stars. Flavor was great though and it was a decent portion (for $17) and satisfying. Also, a pretty wide range of menu options, despite it being a small place. There were 4 complimentary banchan dishes (napa kimchi, cucumber kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, and fish cakes). Note that I don't think there are free refills like other places... maybe you can ask but I didn't see anyone doing so. For 1-2 people, it's a relatively generous amount.
