One of the best places to get your barbecue ducks! Come to Seattles International District and visit King's Barbecue House! Make sure to bring cash only. No cards excepted! The service here is super quick, order your choice of barbecue and they'll cut it up for you and you'll get that yummy goodness duck sauce!! The best I've ever had!! This place doesn't really catch your eyes or anything like that with pretty decorations. But they do display at their windows the choices of meat you can choose from. It's the barbecue and the people that works there, that'll make you want to come back for more.

I don't think this is the right spot for Chinese BBQ for me. I came here to buy a lunch combo during my break time. Two meats and rice. Pretty basic item that I tried in numerous restaurant. I picked the roast pork and scallion ginger chicken for my two meats choice. I didn't really pay much attention until I got back to my office. When I open my bag and taken the food out. First impression didn't make the cut already. It is really messy and small portion. Not to mention that the cut of the pork and chicken are huge like... can you chop pieces correctly?! Most of the places I went to before for Chinese or Cantonese cuisine for BBQ, they will pair vegetable on the side but this lunch combo is just plain. The taste wasn't there as well. Roast pork was too fat and greasy, usually a great roast pork should be balance lean, fat, lean, fat... There roast pork is mostly fat. The chicken was too big and flavor tasted unbalance. And still got plenty of chicken hair in them? Extra protein?! Lol... Overall, no second chance here!

This review is long overdue. My parents and I have come here since I was a baby when Seattle felt like a small town. The butcher and the lady who work here are so kind and familial. They always remember us and greet us gladly despite how busy they are. The location is close to uwajimaya and there is plenty of street parking to hop off and grab some quick dinner. The food is amazing. We have ordered everything from meal boxes to a whole roast duck. They also have phenominal barbecue pork and roast pork. Their food is not for the vegetarians in this neighborhood, but if you are a meat eater this is the place for you. They can chop and package meats for you or leave them for you to roast and chop. Whatever you choose, their roast meets are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with perfect seasoning. The service is always great, sometimes they are very busy so it is helpful to have an idea what you like and come with a little patience or not near meal hours for less crowds. The prices is fairly reasonable. They do prefer cash so if you can try to bring some. Overall, highly recommend king's bbq whether for a quick lunch box or for a nice family dinner. This is the best for asian roast meats! Pro tip: for thanksgiving and christmas you can drop off your turkey and they will brine, season and roast it for you. Yum!

We decided to go out of our normal bbq place and checked this place out. There was a line outside so that's always a good thing. We had lunch prior to this so didn't really want to grab too much food so we ended up getting half a pound of bbq pork and half a pound of sausage. The butcher did a pretty rough estimation so we ended up getting more than what we need and paid more as well... The meat was just ok in my opinion, not great but not bad. The sausage was something unique that I don't see often and it was tasty. It looks like there lunch special is a good price so I might come back for that. Oh and it's cash only.

Duck was meaty and good. Duck roasted is a bit less than other places aka less crunchy but the meat was tender and yummy compare to other places. Wish they include veggies like at least cabbage or something with their lunch plate. It was just rice and meat. Good deal still. Nice folks. Clean looking facility

Probably the best duck that you can get on this side of the Pacific ocean! I've been eating here since 2012 and keep coming back for all that goodness. It is a simple restaurant with no seating and no real amenities except for the fallen angels making the food. I always get the duck and rice combo. They also have a couple other options but make sure they dump some duck fat on top of the rice for that extra flavor!

Old meat, old skin. I should have paid more attention to them choosing the cut. 垃圾都不如

Old meat. Old skin. I should have paid attention to them cutting. Cantonese bbq shops are know to put in scraps to add on the weight but I don't think they did that because the cut is scrap itself. 垃圾

From the moment one crosses the threshold, the air itself seems perfumed with a slow‑smoked promise of delight, beckoning diners into a realm where time-honored craft reigns supreme. The brisket, a veritable masterpiece, arrives with a bark so exquisitely rendered it borders on the poetic. Each slice yields with gentle persuasion, revealing marbling that melts into a silken whisper upon the tongue. The ribs, lacquered in a glaze of subtle sweetness and smoky depth, cling tenderly to the bone, surrendering with an elegance that speaks to hours of meticulous tending over smoldering embers. Even the sides--often relegated to mere accompaniment--command admiration. The cornbread is a golden triumph, delicately crumbed yet luxuriously moist, while the collard greens possess a soulful richness that lingers like a cherished memory. And the house-made sauces, presented with almost ceremonial reverence, offer a spectrum of flavor that elevates each bite without ever overshadowing the meat's inherent artistry. Service is attentive without intrusion, delivered with a warmth that mirrors the glowing hearth at the heart of the kitchen. One leaves not merely satisfied, but genuinely moved by the harmony of craft, care, and culinary passion. In a world crowded with pretenders, this BBQ sanctuary stands as a beacon of authenticity and refinement--a place where smoke becomes symphony and every plate tells a story worth savoring.

My favorites include: the brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac-n-cheese, and an occasional salad. At least for this style- Texas style...sort of a combo with both dry rub (Memphis style) and a kick ass sauce ala KC. It was excellent. We both wanted the ribs and brisket so we each got the 'double trouble' and got different sides...greens, cornbread, corn pudding and mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, we also got the fried pickle appetizer. The meat was perfectly done...tender and smoky. Each side was big, and flavorful. I especially liked the greens, my son said it was the best he'd had. Then they brought out the banana pudding. When the server put it on the table my son made a reference to a vampire movie we'd recently watched where the vampires could see the arteries in the necks of their victims and he made a motion to show that the banana pudding was almost pulsating on the table before us. We descended on that poor pudding like crazed nosferatu just awakening from a centuries long nap. Blood lust. It was so good. Gone in about 1 minute. Our evil souls were barely sated. Our thirst for banana pudding only temporarily slaked. The server joked that he's always wanted to bring in a boba straw for the stuff. It's good. Anyway- put this place on your list. Best bbq in Seattle? Maybe? This is a food genre that's important to me and I haven't yet seen better. $130 for two people with tip, wine and a take-home pudding.

A great place to go with family or your lover. The all you can eat concept drew me here hahah. it is hard to find a solid "all you can eat" restaurant that is not only worth the price & location but also worth the food. You come in, choose your selection (per person that is) of what menu food you want (ranging from $35 to $45) and you're set. Though you have small portions, you can choose more if need be until you're full. If you're ever in Seattle, try this gem out. You'll love it. The only minor thing i didn't like about this place is the hype of Wagyu beef. I ordered the menu with wagyu and when i ate from the wagyu menu, it was ok, it wasn't the best. I finally realized that wagyu comes in different tiers, ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most delicious and of course more expensive (which i don't think they offer here). 5 also has the most fatty and delicious wagyu that just melts in your mouth. I think this was a tier 2 or 1. That's all hehe.

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."
