He gave good reccomendations (rigatoni) and wine was decently served. No fuss, no muss. Just decently good. It's a little expensive but hey, it's the airport. Their vast selection of pastries are displayed behind a thick layer of glass on the counter. They offer outdoor seating and there is a whole other section of seating next door when the main cafe is crowded. My friend recommended the espresso dul'sal, which is made with Black Lava Sea Salt, and my kiddo got a blueberry-ube kouign amann (not sure of the exact name). Both the drink and pastry were delicious; the espresso was so creamy and the sea salt cut through the sweetness, and there was real ube inside the pastry. We sat and enjoyed our late morning snack in the next-door seating. I would highly recommend stopping by when you're in El Segundo!
