Great pad see ew and the ambience when i went to pick up looked pretty, I would def eat in there. The shrimp i got was big and butterflied cut, down the middle. It was dried shrimp almost, i assumed they grilled it, I was a fan of it. Spicy too (i asked and it got noted). Perfectly matched w the thai ice tea for the spicy noodle dish. Have to agree with several other reviewers, this place has the best pad Thai I've found in Brooklyn! Found it searching a Reddit thread and am so glad I did. Along out the pad Thai, we also tried the green curry which was very good as well. Got the prawn option for the protein in both, and was shocked at how well they were prepared. I think this is what did it for me. They took the time to clean and butterfly the shrimp which were cooked to perfection. A friend asked if I wanted to go out for dinner and I could pick the place. I had a taste for Thai and I looked at the reviews for Klom Klorm and decided to come here. We made the mistake of adding Wyckoff street instead of Wyckoff avenue and we were concerned that we would lose our reservation but they said it was okay. As we entered the restaurant, we had to check our temperatures and we were promptly seated. Now, I have to be transparent as I am with all my reviews. My friend went to use the bathroom and while I was waiting for him to return, I saw a roach crawling on the white tile wall (we were seated near the kitchen). The roach was crawling down and ended up on his chair, I had to take a napkin and flick it quickly from his seat. When he came out, I told him about it but he said that it didn't bother him. Now, if I came with one of my girlfriends, as the sharks on Shark Tank would say, "I'm out." Anyway, we decided to stay and if you check in on Yelp, you can get a free sangria with any entrée. I ordered the red sangria and my friend got the white sangria. I liked the red one better. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken satay but it didn't actually come out until after we received our entrees (we had to ask about it). My friend asked me to pick his meal--he likes noodles but doesn't like spicy food so I got him the shrimp Pad Thai and I got the drunken noodles with shrimp. He told me that it was an A+++. The drunken noodles were good and very flavorful. I also ordered the Thai iced tea--my friend tried some and we both liked it. One of the employees pushed an empty table next to ours so we could have more room (we had a table for two but it was getting crowded with food and drink), I appreciated that. Overall, I had a good time but it would be remiss of me to not say anything about the roach. Please get that taken care of. That is extremely important. Great place, solid staff. Got the pineapple fried dish off the entree menu, which is excellent. Only that my dish arrived cold, I asked the waiter politely is the dish suppose to be served hot or cold? And they explained that the half pineapple (that is served purely for plate aesthetic) is cold. So the cold pineapple absorbed all the warmth off the dish. I still ate the dish, did not send back. I recommend if you order the dish, ask for the dish without the pineapple that sucks the soul off the plate. Bummed out and will come back sometime. This is in my top two favorite Thai food spots in NYC! Upon walking in, I love the ambiance itself. Natural light pours through the open windows onto the beautifully decorated brick walls and plants. Every time I've gone, I've managed to be seated right away and service has been quick and attentive. Every dish I've tried has been delicious and a large portion size too. I've been ordering delivery from here for several month now and the only issue I've ever had was trying to find a service that would deliver my scrumptious meals. They'll be many times when all the delivery services including using their website would indicate they do not deliver all the way to my neck of the woods. So whenever I get lucky and delivery sites fix whatever issues they've encountered I get to eat some good grub. On my latest order I tried the crab rice and kahao soi stew beef. The rice was so freaking good although I will say slightly sweet but it def had real crab not nasty imitation crap. The stewed beef was so hearty and perfectly packaged for delivery. Their Thai teas are addictive (you have been warned:) Overall this is the best Thai food I've had in the states hands down. A random UberEats find turned into the best Thai flavors I've ever had. Tried the Phuket Paradise Chicken with a side of fried fish ($5) and the spicy fish soup. A perfectly balanced combination of spices in the Phuket Paradise takes your mouth on a trip, the fried fish was the perfect crisp and size, and the soup had the perfect level of heat. I've been here three times and have had different experiences each time. First, I'd like to really hammer in how much I despise the high top tables. They feel rickety, are way too small, and the wall decor always stabs my face when I sit there. Otherwise-- a really cute interior. The chicken satay is great. The chicken is perfectly tender and the peanut sauce is delicious. The pad Thai is also fantastic, great flavor and good portion size. The spicy noodle soup with fish balls is hands down my favorite thing on the menu. The spice will blow you out of your boots but the flavor is incredible The curry is a pass. My go-to Thai spot. And I'm Thai. They do a good job. It's a little more upmarket and it's not that grimy hole in the wall Thai food. But the flavors taste authentic enough and it's actually not way too expensive. They use gigantic shrimp too. It's tasty and it doesn't taste too Americanized. Lot of acid from lime. It was SO delicious. For entrees, we did the grilled chicken and rice, crispy chicken grandma noodles and the chicken with sesame. I have been eating at Klom Klorm since I moved to New York in 2018. The food has continued to be consistently good. I'm not sure if it's a family that runs the restaurant but the staff has been pretty much the same since 2018z The restaurant has an amazing selection for anytime of the day. If I can I try to catch their lunch special however their food is fairly priced in my opinion. I love their duck soup, it's always cooked to perfection. Their curry dishes are amazing, I love their pineapple rice dish, their soups, the Thai tea. I've even drinks from here. I can to say enough good things about this restaurant. It's perfect if you're eating alone, on a date or with a colleague/friend. The ambience is always calm even when it's packed. Beautiful decor but tables were tiny. There wouldn't be enough room on the table for two people if they wanted to try multiple dishes. We were seated and asked multiple times in a span of a few minutes if we were ready to order. Then when we were finally ready to order, I motioned to a waiter but wasn't noticed. Then I proceeded to flag down another waiter. We ordered the pad kee mau and khao soi stewed beef lunch specials, both with fried spring rolls. The spring roll itself had flavor and paired well with the sweet sauce that was drizzled on top. It was our first time trying roast pork in pad kee mau and while it was good, we felt like it didn't belong in the pad kee mau; the flavors and textures didn't complement each other. This restaurant has gone downhill. I would be okay with the prices increasing but the quality and quantity has lowered. I ordered the Pad Med Ma Mong Him Ma Phan (20.95) and the Tom Yum Goong Soup (10.95). The chicken in the Pad Med Ma Mong Him Ma Phan was so thin and tough it was nearly inedible, there was barely any chicken either. The noodles are so mushy, looks over cooked, and I can't get over that gooey textures, so hard to even separate them. So my boyfriend and I have a list of restaurants we'd like to try. Every time we drive by a place that looks appealing, we add it to the list. Tuesday was one of those days where we wanted to try something new and since this had amazing reviews and we're less than 10 mins away, we gave it a try. And we are soooo glad we did!! My favorite part of pad see ew is the amazing texture of the noodles with a moderate chewy bite and most Thai restaurants fall short for my preferences -- the noodles usually being too overdone and soft.
