Staff was quite friendly on pick-up. I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza, basically my "yardstick" for a new pizza shop experience. The pizza was good and has a "New York" style crust that serves well for folding a slice. Sauce and cheese were tasty but not especially noteworthy. But hey, I don't want to be snooty about a neighborhood pizza shop. I'd certainly consider Ciervo's again AND the shop interior looked spotlessly clean in the short time I was inside. Definitely recommend for a basic pizza stop.

The counter man informed us it would be 30 minutes. I appreciated the head-up, but we had no where to go...and it meant the pizza was being made fresh! It was actually done in about 20 minutes. Gorgeous to look at, and loaded down with toppings. There was no skimping here. The edges of the pie were crispy without being crunchy, and the dough underneath was soft but still could stand up to the weight of the toppings. Somewhat reminiscent of a Detroit-style pizza, but leaner and, IMO, tastier. We are half the pie, trying each type and packed the rest for home. I expect it will reheat well.
