Sweets were delicious but service was very slow due to employees having chit chats in the back rather than completing their tickets.

I ordered brown sugar chocolate chunk cookies through Ubereats from Kneaders on Friday and the cookies they sent were so undercooked - they looked really raw and tasted the raw cookie dough batter. I actually had to put the cookies in the oven for 15 minutes to get them cooked! They charge 4 dollars per cookie too ! I got my money back from Uber which was nice BUT the staff at Kneaders are really hopelessly inconsiderate. When I talked to the lady on the phone about the undercooked she was so casual about it - didn't even apologise when I told her how this could be a health and safety hazard. I Also had stomach cramps and diarrhoea a day later. BEWARE : Lazy staff and inconsiderate staff at Kneaders. Over priced food at the risk of getting sick. Goodbye Kneaders - you're not getting my business anymore ! And to the crazy hopeless lady on the phone I spoke to on Friday - you are horrible ! read more

I am a huge fan of the salads at Kneaders. The sandwiches are enormous and my grams can eat them for about four meals (I'm not even joking). Asparagus soup was delicious and I can't wait to try other soups. It is great to have fresh and tasty food available from a drive-thru. Major plus to support a local mom n' pop business. The only item I've had from Kneaders that I've not been thrilled about is the bacon. It seemed a little on the wimpy side. But hey, it's not like this is the only place in the SL valley to get my bacon fix on. It does get very busy during lunch and I found it somewhat difficult to maneuver comfortably through with my grams (who uses a walker). I'm in town visiting a friend and decided to walk here for lunch. I loved everything about it! Especially the atmosphere and decor. It was like an artisan bakery slash craft store. Absolutely loved it! I ordered the turkey bacon avocado and was surprised by how big the sandwich was, and delicious too! We need one of these back in St. Louis! read more

I have mixed feelings about Kneaders. Had their cake which I would give four stars to. It was very moist and surprisingly flavorful. Four stars to their mint brownies as well. Equally tasty and I can still remember the minty delicious taste weeks later. Their lunch and restaurant gets two stars. The food was meh and the restaurant itself was very dirty. Perhaps my sandwich would have tasted better if my appetite wasn't turned off by the food/garbage thrown all over the floor. read more

Love this Kneaders, the workers are super nice and it's a really fun place. I know the owner and they're family, so i know what they do behind the scenes and i can tell you that they work very hard to keep this place in tip top shape! I would recommend coming here. Oh Kneaders! Sometimes I love you. Sometimes I want to punch you in the face. Mostly I just want to eat your bacon and egg and cheese croissant every morning. That alone bumps it to a three star. Their breakfasts are good, their sandwiches inconsistent. Sometimes you get enough turkey for the entire sandwich; usually, you get enough to only eat one half (which means you're paying $6 for half a sandwich.) The cookies can be good IF not over-baked; unfortunately, they are also hit or miss. The brownies would be fantastic BUT the frosting tastes like it's from a jar. The peppermint brownies during the holidays are very good, though. (Avoid the sugar cookies at all costs - SO dry, so gross.) read more

This is a great place for pastries, and they have delicious soups too! It's not cheap, but the food is fresh and warm. Their head decorater does truly beautiful work and their bakers are all talented. I recommend going in the morning for their delicious cinnamon rolls right as they come out of the oven. I was so excited for the same fresh turkey/avacado/cranberry sandwich that I had ordered here last year. I went through the drive through and when I got home I was so disappointed. The bread was stale with hard crust, the avacado was brownish black, the red onion was soggy, and the turkey was plastic and rubbery. Awful sandwich. I will NEVER go eat at Kneader's Cafe again! Oh, and I bought two sugar cookies which were both also stale. They must have been leftovers from Christmas. My grandson took one bite and actually spit it out. Save yourself this disappointment and don't go to Kneader's. They need much improvement. read more

I usually like a lot Kneaders but this location definitely doesn't keep the quality standards of other locations. The person that took my order didn't know what was a latte and was asking everyone around him to make sure that they had it. After the person eating with me asked for a sweetener and they gave him one - it was for his own beverage. Since I also asked for a sugar free drink after I went to ask one for myself, and they didn't treat me good just because the person with me had asked for it before. They should treat their clients better and be better familiarized with what they are serving. Instead of that my choice of sweet was good, and just that. read more

Wow! We love Kneaders. We get sandwiches and salads to go there instead of going to a fast food drive in for a bag of grease. They have turkey for the sandwiches that is reminiscent of a Thanksgiving turkey, not some thinly sliced deli meat. It's fantastic. Love their foccia bread, homemade potato chips, and deserts. And they have caffeine free diet coke! Can't beat that! They have a new crab roll sandwich, that's real crab! It reminds me of the lobster rolls we got in Boston! read more

Terrible. First time at this location. Was excited that at 7:00am there was no line yet, unlike Provo location. Went inside for cinnamon rolls. Lazy cashier said they are not ready yet, stood there and stared at me. I had to ask him to find out WHEN they will be ready. A few minutes later came out with a full tray. Happy? Kneaders is a really good spot for yummy baked desserts and fresh sandwiches.. The staff is friendly and everything they make over there, from the key-lime pie to the bread pudding, is from scratch! It is nice to have a darn good cup of coffee and a bite of one of those desserts they got, Definitely worth a shot. read more

Best Turkey Sandwich in the valley. They don't have the typical pressed and sliced turkey. They use real, honest to God, pulled turkey. There is a special sauce, and several fresh baked breads to chose from. This is how a real sandwich is created, and I haven't found ANY other place that uses fresh, real ingredients like Kneaders does. If you haven't tried Kneaders, Make sure to at least give it a shot. I write this in hopes that the staff read their reviews, seems they would wise to listen to their customers. I wonder if anyone who works there actually eats the food. I'd be surprised if they are satisfied with it. The biggest disappointment recently, on a list of many, is that their refrigerated pastries taste like freezer burn. This place is less than average and over-priced. If you're coming here for cookies or brownies it's a good choice, but if you're coming here for food, expect to be disappointed. I recently order a panini here and it came out barely cooked and very sloppily assembled. Panini's should be hot and crispy...this was limp warm. I am a full on Kneaders lover, except for this location. It blows. I keep going back thinking it'll get better again, but nope. Last time, the berries in my berry salad were half frozen and slimey. Got some soup that was lukewarm the time before that. Today, the croutons on my salad are burnt and the avocado is mushy and bruised. i used to love this place... until today. I ordered their 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of soup. When I got it home and started eating, I found three long dark hairs melted into the sandwich. I called the manager, Kris or Carissa or something like that. She apologized, took my name and number so they could get me set up for a free meal at another time. She then asked "is there anything else I can do for you" and I jokingly said "make sure your cooks are wearing hairnets" She said "I'm going back right now to make sure they put them on." That's when I asked, "were they cooking with out them?" Her response was that because they are a franchise operations it is up to the owners to determine the rules and they are not always required to wear hair nets. But she would go back and make sure they put them on. I was under the impression that it was a Utah Department of Health required that anybody who cooks must wear a hair net. If you're looking for a tasty breakfast sandwich this is the place to go! I don't live in Utah anymore, but every time I come to town I try to make it by here for breakfast at least once. They serve you a real fried egg with cheese and your choice of Bacon, Ham or Sausage on a fresh & flaky croissant. It's reasonably priced under $5. I ordered the club sandwich and it was huge! It was more then enough to eat but it also came with a side. I had the chicken noodle soup which I wasn't fond of but my wife really enjoyed it. This place is ridiculous. They know how to destroy my diet. When you walk in, they temp you with a freakish amount of pastries. Instead, I feel full in a healthy way, like I actually put something in my body that's good for me. My mother got some cookies and brownies for dessert tonight. We got a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, peanut butter cookie, salted Carmel chocolate chip cookie, German chocolate brownie, and cheesecake chocolate chip brownie. The brownies were not as flavorful as I had hoped and definitely did not taste as delicious as they looked. The same was for the cookies. I will definitely have to stick to my favorites there! What a disappointment! We placed a large delivery order. Delivery was late. Several items didn't come at all. Too late to fix. Guests had to share. Several entrees tasted as if they had been cooked the night before and warmed over. We were overcharged by $20.00. No croissants with the omelets as ordered. No.....I just can't. I don't get this place. It is not good. I've tried and tried but I am always so unimpressed with this place. Everything is just poor quality and over priced. My hubby got the French dip and hardly any meat and so much bread. My salad was ridiculous and the chicken had a funky smell you can tell it was from frozen chicken they just reheated. We tried cupcakes and even my kids threw them away. Dang it. I rather go somewhere else. 2 stars for the cute decorations you can buy there. So strange. Sisters lunch at Kneaders. We were able to enjoy the nice spring weather~this is one Kneaders with outside dinning. 3 of us had the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, Salad. It was really good. One of my sisters had a soup. We all enjoyed our meals. It was such a nice experience enjoying the food and eating outside. It was quiet enough to visit and catch up we stayed 2-1/2 hours. First time at this location. A kind worker who said his name was Vince took good care of us. He even offered to take our dishes away for us. Great friendly staff serving up great food. read more

We had horrible experience buying baked goods that were already prepared. Waited inline behind people who ordered full meals for a couple sugar cookies and a loaf of bread. They were already prepared sitting behind the counter! They could have easily put the items in a bag and sent us on our way, instead we had to wait behind at least 10 people who needed their meals prepared. Wait at least 20 minutes because we had already paid. Very poor way to manage orders. We use to go every Saturday for their all you can eat French Toast. Never again! Very poorly managed. read more

I tried kneaders french toast at city creek recently and LOVED it. So when we were in the fort union area yesterday morning we stopped by. The french toast was still pretty good. But i was so disappointed in the restaurant its self. Obviously a popular place as there was NO WHERE for us, a party of 4, to sit. Absolutely no where. There was even more room outside to add an extra two or three tables but nope. A tall table built for two opened up so we grabbed it and then my mother inlaw practically accosted a family who looked like they were might be done eating so that we could have their table.
