Arrived at 7:35, walked in and asked for it, only for the receipts to just be taken off the printer at that time in the order start to be made after I was already there. Did not leave until 7:42 AM. During the time I was there four separate cars went through the drive-through and got their orders. What is the purpose of order ahead if it is A- Not ready until more than 20 minutes after the order time, and 10 minutes after the time it was quoted to be ready and B) four separate orders placed at the drive-through are ready immediately after ordering during the time it takes to wait? I have given the Stone Oak location repeat of chances and I'm officially done. Shame on the management of this location for not getting the workers the help that they need to be able to do their jobs the right way. read more

I think I'm addicted to their chunky cinnamon french toast. The best part(s): it's delicious in the non eggy kinda way, the bread is amazing and just the right amount of soft&hard, cheap and ALL YOU CAN EAT. Seriously, AYCE amazing french toast for just $5.99 is a steal!! Their syrup is extraordinarily good too and that is something coming from a syrup hater. The refills of French toast don't come with strawberries and cream but it's just as perfect with only syrup. And they don't have long lines. They do get slammed at lunch until about 1:15 but my issue is, it can be 3:00 and still ALL of the tables are dirty, no excuse for that. I am very dissappointed as I have been happy with what I order from there. We stopped for breakfast while walking our dogs. We were the only people on their so called patio, but were forced to leave because of our dogs, who were all on leashes and quietly cooling off. Still waiting on our food, but not sure how we're supposed to take it to go while walking our dogs. The patio, by the way, is dirty. They brought the food out, finally, told us again to leave, but hadn't wrapped the food to go even though we asked them to do so the first time they told us to go, so now we are waiting while they wrap it. Very warm welcome, was immediately glad I came here. The only prior knowledge I had if the place was a sandwich and cookie a coworker brought me knowing how much I like to eat carb lush food. That was from the Culebra location. So the Stone Oak location was wonderful. A large family that converged on the place started our experience nicely when their patriarch told them to let us two go first. I had already seen the menu online, but the young lady at the register explained everything. She was so nice. I wanted an omelette but did not like the ingredient combinations on their menu. The young lady, so sweet, turned her little iPad register thing around and showed me the ingredients and let me make my own. The omelette was so good!!!! It had red pepper, onion, mushrooms, swiss, and pico de gallo. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, I lathered them with land o lakes butter which melted on contact. They only offer one syrup, a caramel based original creation. I did not think I would like it since I am not fond of caramel but it was so good. Over the years I've always enjoyed the food and appreciated the friendly service. However, last night was the first time service was horrible. Usually when I order a sandwich they would always ask what kind of bread. This time they didn't and I forgot to specify . So when I got to window , I told them I forgot to mention what kind of bread. I was told sandwich only comes in focaccia bread. I told her that I have always asked for hazelnut. Sandwich was already made and Lilian had already rung up my order. So I told Lilian, I would like a refund because I don't care for focaccia bread. She politely started my refund. Then a young girl (Mykala) came to window and repeated what Lilian had said but with a very rude attitude. Then when I was going to respond she shut the window on me and started giggling while she was distracting Lilian while she was trying to do the refund. She did that a couple of times. Because Lilian was having problems w/ my refund, I agreed to accept sandwich and she made it w/ the bread that I had requested. During this whole time Mykala was giggling about the incident and Lilian was maintaining a very professional attitude. I did not appreciate Mykala's immature attitude. This cozy little gem is perfect for a quick bite. Beware. Their sandwiches are fresh and original, full of tasty things like fresh leafy greens and AWSOME avocado! Their pastries are not only beautifully crafted but they are tasty as well. I love love love this place. The only downside I'd have to say is the employees are a little too serious. Delicious! I had the breakfast croissant sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon. My daughter had the pancake platter. The food was very fresh and yummy. I highly recommend their turkey sandwich for lunch. And their wild mushroom soup. The person taking orders at the register wasn't very friendly at all though. When I walked up to order she just stared at me...I said hi...and she didn't say anything back. I looked up at the menu then back down to her and asked her if she was having an okay day??? She finally got the hint...for such a nice little cafe I'd probably hire friendlier people to take orders that are going to be warm and welcoming. We had the most amazing experience at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe today. We stopped in with the intention of just picking up a small snack and continue with our errands. But the atmosphere was so inviting we decided to stay and share a sandwich and salad. The gentleman who took our order was patient and offered suggestions. Other staff was very friendly (love the cheery energy of the lady with curly hair ). The lady who was making baskets was so welcoming and offered us a gift to take home. Came for iced sugar cookies & a chocolate pie. They had no iced cookies, neither size. The pie, I ended up with a German chocolate silk. For NYE I was expecting a lot more desserts, especially during their first hour open. My chicken salad was decent. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Greens were fresh. Orange pieces, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and shaved Parmesan cheese complemented the salad well. My friend's Ruben sandwich however was an awful, soggy mess. The corned beef was extremely dry. So perhaps they tried to over compensate by adding extra sauerkraut & dressing. Didn't work. We couldn't even eat half the sandwich. It was that gross :/ Cupcakes and cookies were too sweet for my taste. Service was good. Friendly staff. Private lot parking is always a bonus. So today I wanted to bring my sister lunch while she was at work and we both decided to try Kneaders. I had never heard of this restaurant but my sister was very familiar with them as she used to live in Yuma, AZ and stated that they are way better than Panera Bread so I thought let's do this since this place was also lacking photos and a review. I decided to go thru the drive thru since inside the line was almost out the door and let me tell you pulling up to this place at 12:05PM it was already super packed that I thought no way inside or outside was going to make a difference so I stuck with the drive thru. Well the worst part I think of the whole experience was waiting at least 25 minutes in the drive thru to order and receive two broccoli and cheese soup cups (12oz) along with a fruit bowl that I believe was the same size but I'm not sure due to having absolutely no time at all to have lunch with my sister I had to drop off her food and go since the drive thru took my literally half of my lunch. Now I do understand that since it is in the shopping center with places like Target, JC Penney, In and Out, etc it's going to be but i didnt think it would be lets wait in the drive thru for 25-30 minutes kind of day. Next once I got back to work I had my cup of soup and I have to say the taste of the broccoli and cheese soup is some of the best soup broccoli and cheese I have ever had hands down but I was disappointed with the inconsistency of getting rather larger pieces of broccoli in my soup to some smaller pieces. And the onions in the soup could have been cooked a little longer as there was crunch to them. Never purchase anything considered retail. Nothing bought other than food, of course, is returnable. This store's policy is posted in a place which is not clearly visible. It's on a 5x7 frame and it's on the bottom of the receipt which is pointless since by the time you get the receipt, you are stuck w the item whether it's broken or faulty in any way. We contacted corporate and were told the policy is up to each different location. We have stopped doing business with them. My favorite time to come is an hour before Closing time on Saturday nights when all their wonderful and delicious pastries are all on sale for half off! It's so hard not to try them all but I always come back and tempted to try a new one or one that's already sold out before we get to the head of the line. Gotta get there a bit early 'cause the line is out the door by the time we get there. And then from there it's a good 30 min wait and you're not even sure what you want is going to be left. I love the little tarts, pies, eclairs, cheesecakes, cookies, everything! We try to limit under $20 in dessert (12-14 desserts maybe?) So yummy! They even have so awesome fresh baked bread. They sample out while you're waiting for your food and it's delicious. Just check them out. They're always busy. Kinda hard to get In and out of lot but that's ok. Worth the trip! =) read more
