I got the combo platter that included pork belly and beef bulgogi! The pork belly was a tad bit chewier than I normally like but it had decent flavor! The bulgogi was on par with pretty much any bulgogi you'd find at any Korean restaurant! I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for my meal to be done so it's definitely not "fast food" but the place was pretty busy when I went! So the grub hub app that I used to order takeout, failed with an error code when I thought I wasn't finished confirming my order, so I ordered again thinking the first one didn't go through. When I got to the restaurant they had 2 duplicate orders. I said I only want one order but they said they couldn't credit the duplicate so I'd have to take them both. Thought that was weird but didn't want to argue. Was kind of shocked to see the prices of Udon and Ramen have gone up around three dollars on average. I got the chicken udon and it was ok. The chicken was pretty good, but to pay almost twelve dollars for a soup, especially in a cheap plastic to go bowl that leaks into the to go bag was a little disappointing. I've been to Koba Grill three times now, each time has been about the same lackluster experience. The first two times occurred when they opened. I first tried the basic beef bulgogi plate, which was a sop of not so great sauce on top of okayish beef and veggies and rice. Their sauce here is just not all that good. The second time was orange chicken which was absolutely horrible. The sauce was EVERYWHERE. I got mac this time and it was inedible as the orange chicken sauce had pooled into every possible place it could get. A small ocean of orange chicken sauce remained on the plate when I transferred everything to a to go box. I normally hate throwing food away and won't do it, but I actually threw away the remainer that I took home because I just couldn't stomach it. Then recently I decided to give the place one final try. I went with the big one, the 13 dollar gochujang pork belly. The pork belly itself was alright, it was good enough and pork belly is just such a delicious thing in the first place. There wasn't anything special about it though, I've had better pork belly for less money many other places. However I actually got to try the mac salad and good god is it horrifying. It just tastes like mayo and pasta. It doesn't have nearly enough seasoning in there and doesn't really do anything interesting. For 13 dollars I expect more. Much more. I may give this place another try because people seem to like it, I don't get it. I've been to many places that serve similar styles of food that are both way cheaper and better. read more

A great addition to Tigard! My wife and I have eaten here once and ordered to go twice. The service is great and the food is great. We have had the ribs, orange chicken, and shrimp pad Thai. All were very good! Just a warning, the pad Thai is a bit on the spicy side but the second time, I ordered it with half the spice and it was much better. read more

First visit here and I had the beef bolgogi - the veggies were perfectly cooked and the beef was delicious, however there wasn't much of it. Based on another picture on yelp I either ordered a smaller portion or didn't get the dish as it was meant to be. It was delicious but I left hungry. Hubs had the chow fun with beef and black rice and said it was delicious. He asked them to make it spicy and they did. My father in law had the sweet and sour chicken. I stopped eating sweet and sour chicken about 20 years ago because it was always so cloyingly sweet and it shouldn't be pink. However his looked exactly like it should and the piece I snagged was fantastic! I would definitely order that again. Many other things on the menu we all want to try so we will be back. If you've dined at legit Korean joints before, Koba Grill might disappoint. But if this is your first introduction to delicious dishes like bulgogi or bibimbop, this isn't a bad place to start. The atmosphere is inviting...very clean and nicely decorated.The staff are friendly and good at explaining the menu to those unfamiliar with Korean fare. The food is mostly Korean, but they are also catering to less adventurous eaters with some "Panda Express" type dishes. The addition of ramen and udon soup options is kinda odd...the menu is already pretty extensive, so not sure why they needed to add those items to the mix. I appreciate that their kids dining options actually include Korean foods like bulgogi. Start them young! I'm happy that South Beaverton now has a Korean presence, however I'll still be frequenting the more traditional joints in Central Beaverton. read more

This was my first time here and I LOVED it. My husband and I split the Off the Grill Beef Bulgogi and added potstickers on the side and it was more than enough food for the both of us... we even took leftovers home. Also got their Thai Iced Tea with Boba and it was so sweet it tasted like ice cream, which I liked. They also have free egg drop soup, which was delish, black tea, and so many yummy sauces to try. My wife and I love this place. The marinade they use for their bulgogi and short ribs is absolutely delicious. Their mac salad is really good as well. This is also the only place my wife gets Pad Thai and doesn't need to cover it in Sriracha for better flavor. (She doesn't use any on their Pad Thai...which is a first). The things for me that brought it up a notch were that it was quick, the portion sizes were very generous, I was able to do take out, and free egg flour soup while I waited. Can't beat free! I have ordered from here quite a few times using uber eats. At first, food was great. Awesome portions, great flavor. But as of recent ita all gone downhill for me. It started with the eggshell in my $20 dish that doesnt contain any egg. I called and spoke with someone who was happy to remake it, but let's face it. That doesnt work with the uber eats thing. But they said if I were to come in anytime I could get a free meal. Great, when i have the time to wrangle my kids and go in there to wait for a meal i will. After that, they continue to disappoint. I've eaten here twice and I'm really happy with both meals. It's got a huge menu of Korean and Chinese food and the portions are big- I always take home leftovers. They also have silverware so you don't have to waste plastic utensils. My new favorite fast lunch spot! read more
