Visiting from out of town. Pho Tiger is easily accessible with plenty of parking. Their restaurant is spacious and their food and drink options are exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Definitely a home away from home experience coming from San Jose, California. Would recommend coming here to friends in family should they find themselves in the area! read more

Grilled pork bahn mi Fish sauce chicken wings Bahn mi was perfect. The baguette was exactly how you'd want it- crunchy outside, soft and chewy inside. I added extra pork, I'm glad I did. It was hearty and it made the size of the bahn mi just right. I was sufficiently full after I finished this along with two pieces of the fish sauce wings. Only a couple things worth noting, the pickled daikon and carrots were shredded so it wasn't as crunchy as I'm used to. LOVED the patè. Wish I had the option to order extra. Fish sauce wings were yummy. I haven't seen this in another restaurant since pokpok. They weren't crunchy wings. But the flavor was there. The order came with a side of pickled daikon and carrots. Their own sauces.......super crunchy and fresh veg......and a house made spring roll. I'm glad I got extras! It was a huge amount of food for one person, and I happily stuffed myself with every morsel. This is a dish that's easy to fake it with......because I love it. So, I waited a week before deciding to post this review due to this being VN and small business. Just for reference, I've eaten here many times and last 2 visits, I requested my steak placed on top so it's not well cooked. I had dropped off my car at Brake Force and decided to come back after a year hoping they have changed. I ordered the Pho Tai and asked for the beef to be placed on top again, plus a rice dish to go. I heard the cashier tell the kitchen staff what I wanted so I felt comfortable it'd be made as ordered. But when it arrived, not only was it not done, there was hardly any beef period. I fished for all of it and placed it on the plate. I called the cashier over to show him. He didn't say anything and walked back to the kitchen. I ate 1/3 of the noodles and all the beef. I assumed he was bringing me more beef. No, he didn't. He brought my to go order and that was it. No, I'm sorry. No, we're getting you more beef. No, we're refunding you the Pho order. He just handed my to go order and walked away. I've never felt so disappointed and disrespected. I live in Tigard and eat out every single day. I love Pho, but will go to Pho Nguyen in Beaverton for my weekly fix. Pho Tiger, do better! read more

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because the pho broth was really good. Other than that, the service was bad and they weren't even busy. There is a kiosk to order and you have to pay and add your tip before anything even happens. Instead of making sure that all of the tables had ample chopsticks and spoons, the "server" sat behind the counter on his phone. Never asked if we needed anything just brought out the pho. The plate they give you with the extras didn't even have 4 jalapeño slices, just 3 for two people. The meat that I received in my pho was basically all fat, not meat. This place is expensive and makes you take care of everything and skimps on ingredients. I won't be coming back. read more

Service was incredibly bad. The place wasn't too busy but there was 6 different tables waiting to be bussed and the person working the front just sat on his phone. The tables that were unoccupied were sticky. The set up is -- order at the front, seat yourself and get water for your self. The food was decent but my pork was not warm one bit, it's like it had been sitting all day and served with fresh rice. The veggie pho (vegan) was delicious and my omnivore partner said it was the most flavorful veggie broth he's ever had. I didn't get to try their milk teas but I did have the vegetarian pho. The broth was very flavorful and the veggies all very fresh (the sprouts nice and crunchy) and the veggies brightly colored (broccoli, carrots, basil, green onion, jalapeno). This one included mushrooms, which I could tell were also fresh and tofu. I didn't care for the tofu's taste. I would have preferred plain, firm tofu instead of what is probably fried tofu. I added some sauce (from the table condiments) to the tofu and that helped. I was able to take my leftovers home in a plastic container. read more

I'm here visiting for a wedding and my group decided to visit this place for lunch today. I love bird's nest and I was excited to see this on the menu. When I ordered this, it originally came with seafood but the person at the counter said I can substitute chicken instead. Overall, it was a rather delicious dish. The noodles were very crispy and there was an ample of protein and veggies. The brown sauce was not too salty and gave it the right flavor it needed. My only critique was that the chicken to me felt like the wrong cut to use. The chicken pieces looked more to be used in a pho dish then this kind of this. So much pho, so little time. The food at Pho Tiger rivals the best at many of my other favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The one thing I LOVE the most is that they serve all the usual phos, salad rolls, egg rolls, vermicelli bowls, rice plates AND bahn mi sandwiches. It's hard to find such a menu out there. We've dined in pre-COVID and usually do takeout now. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. You place your order at the counter, help yourself to water, utensils, get your beverage and condiments at the side bar and pick where you want to sit. The giant painted tiger on the wall is beautiful and very impressive. The photos of farmers working in the rice fields (I think) are beautiful too. There's even a tiny enclosed space for those who have to have their gambling fix (???) The tables are clean and seating is quite comfortable. There is a TV always on but I've never heard the sound. I'm happy they've weathered the pandemic problems and have remained excellent. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are just about right. On a Friday lunch hour, the place was clean and easy to find. I ordered the Pho Tai Sach, which is my standard staple to see how a pho spot stands up. Unfortunately, it was nothing special. The quantity and quality of the protein was okay. It could have been stronger with more meat especially since I ordered the large. The broth was okay. It didn't have a memorable flavor with the broth base. It would have been stronger if it had more flavor particularly more beef broth. The veggies was missing cilantro in the broth. Cozy, well maintained restaurant with a small section for gambling machines. That is quite an interesting setup. Order upfront and have a seat. Menu is standard Vietnamese offerings. The pho special is now $17 (small versions are a $1 less). Prices have gone up, which is ok, if they had enough ingredients to justify it. There was not enough add-ins to justify this high of a price (shrinkflation?). I can't see myself coming back here at these prices for pho. read more
