    Chicken shwarma sandwich

The chicken shwarma sandwich is perfectly textured and seasoned, a must try for shwarma lovers. Very casual interior, parking right out front and kind, familial service. 10/10 worth coming back for!

My friend and I stopped in for a dinner here for the first time -- and boy are we glad we did! The food was tasty, it was priced generously, and the service was fast and easy. Only thing is that parking can be a bit weird, but overall, I wouldn't let that distract from what an amazing place this is. Definitely coming back.

Very delicious kabobs at this restaurant. It is a small business with a lot of delicious foods here. I loved their rice because it was flavorful and very good with their kabobs. Their filet kabobs were my favorite along with their chicken kabobs. All the meat pieces that we ordered for the birthday party were tender and flavorful with every bite. They are really good with seasonings their meat because it was right on the spot with taste and smell. Service was excellent because they provided all the foods that we ordered ahead of time for the party. The staff were friendly and welcoming. But not a lot of parking space in front of the restaurant. But it was worth a visit if you are ever near in Van Nuys area. Highly recommend their kebabs!

So this is probably the best Syrian cuisine restaurant I've ever found in Los Angeles I hadn't been at Kobee factory in a long time, so today I went and had an order to Grubhub two sandwiches, one garlic, chicken, and the other one Sujuk So delicious so tasty I adore that place, and it is reasonably priced

I am from Pakistan and love Middle Eastern, food, and spicy stuff. It was my first time trying the Syrian restaurant. It was a tossup between this and another.. Boy Oh boy am I glad that I chose this one.! the service is amazing. I called in and the woman that answered the phone was very polite and accommodating to my needs. The food was AMAZING!!!! The chicken was made to perfection and the hummus is so good perfect consistency. Sheeeesh I wonder why it took me so long to try Syrian food? Lol but they just gained a regular customer. Thank you again. ~Aniyah

    9$ for this ?

The flavor of the beef kabob and hummus is solid, but the value for the price is disappointing. I was surprised to find only a quarter of a tomato and a tiny piece of pepper instead of the full roasted vegetables you get at almost any other Mediterranean or Middle Eastern spot. Additionally, the Syrian Salad was nearly $9 and arrived in an incredibly small container. While the food tastes okay, the portion sizes for the sides and garnishes feel like a rip-off. Hard to justify ordering again when other places in the area are much more generous.

My first time trying this Syrian Mediterranean restaurant and wow it didn't disappoint! Beef wrap was excellent and tender and my favorite was the Kobee- so delicious. Staff is very friendly:)

Ok. Then what isn't halal? Also, it says halal on the door, a bit confusing.

The chicken, ground beef and lamb are halal. And we can do anything you want halal for a catering orders, whole lamb, filet, or anything else. We just need a few days notice. Feel to call the restaurant and more details, ask for Nana.

Is EVERYTHING halal? I see you serve bacon as well? Is that halal bacon?

Good day, unfortunately not everything is halal. We actually took bacon off the menu.

    Do they serve halal meat?

Yes, we have halal beef chicken and lamb

What specific menu items are gluten-free?

Don't know, but any of the dishes which do not feature wheat or bulger would.

Going to this restaurant is like being welcomed into a family member's home with open arms and a genuine smile (and for some a hug) when you've arrived unexpectedly. Today I was there because I was picking up food to take to a family member who's recovering from a heart attack. He and his wife live in El Monte. Carnival has NEVER disappoints, and today was no exception. I ordered chicken shawarma sandwiches, tabbouleh, hummus and fries, I couldn't resist. The takeout packaging was packaged so well that it traveled beautifully from Sherman Oaks to El Monte. The food was wonderfully warm when I arrived. Both of my relatives praised the deliciousness the food. The sandwiches are so big and generously filled that we cut them in half. The shawarma plate also comes with a delicious lentil soup that perfectly starts the meal. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The service has always been friendly, and one of my favorite things about this restaurant is the people it brings together. During a weekday lunch, you'll hear English, Arabic, Armenian, and Hebrew all being spoken in the same dining room. It's a reminder that good food has a way of bringing people from all walks of life together. I wish the world mirrored this environment. The only thing I miss is the original décor. Before the remodel, the walls were decorated with beautiful photographs of Lebanon that gave the restaurant so much character. The updated space is clean, but it feels a little plain in comparison. If you're visiting on a weekend, expect a wait because this place is popular. Be sure to save room for the homemade baklava. I also appreciate that they're one of the few restaurants in Los Angeles that serves Coke Zero. This is one of those places I keep coming back to, and for good reason.
